"I drink drinks 'cuz the drinks feel like drinks, and I dunno how much that thing feels like drink, but if I can't drink it, it's not a damn drink, so I don't wanna drink it!" The harbormaster seems to be getting annoyed, but at Arthur's question he relaxes. "All kinds. Whiskey's the best. I also like ale, sometimes I sconsficate some good rum. I've got some nice Mulled Wine for later. Mead's not bad, I have a taste for Tonics and gin, and Flaming Gumballs are nice everyones in a while."

It's funny, the process for making enemies is like the opposite of that for strategizing against them. Rather than assuming everyone's going to roll Damage, I just assume everyone will roll a Hit. Glad to see you're enjoying it.

The party heads inside. The interior is austere, and there's not a single room attached to the hallway, though admittedly it's a small building.They reach the stairwell, and there appears to be a humanoid shadow cast on the top few steps, though what it's doing the heroes can't tell. If they advance any further, they'll be seen.

Arthur can see a small window up on the second story facing out to the port, but there's no doors, only a short hallway leading up to some stairs. De'kra examines the doorway and the general entrance, but finds nothing.

Sorry this battle's dragging a bit, Quest 51ers, but if you didn't KO my damage-dealer so early you'd at least be threatened rather than repeatedly trying to chip health off the tank. That fact that you haven't landed a real hit in 4 rounds doesn't help, either.

Originally he didn't even have a Special II. I then realized it was a pretty bad idea for him to keep on doubling SP every Special Damage. In any case, a Special that only increases his SP by 1 every round is hardly effective, even if it would iron out this loophole. If I had a higher level party, I'd probably take off the cap of 8 SP before he uses Special II, but I didn't want Thalion or Barur's attacks to be pointless. How do you think all of your opponents feel, throwing themselves against your 15 SP without any purpose whatsoever?
