I'll sell you a Robe of the Archmagi for 250 gold, 50 less than Portia's price, if you like.

I'm up for trading the Heavy Flail, if you're still interested in it. Other than that, I think Doc's always got something he's trying to get rid of.
-
It's not much of a mystery Quest...it's more trying to track down the killer than determine who did it. As for length....probably around a month, two at the very most. It's mostly dependent on player activity.
-
Why wait to sign up? That's just the kind of innuendo I need on Quest 69. Don't get excited, I would recommend parties of only Level 30s or higher go out there. It's got both the best drops and the best Specials.

Atramor glanced up the Quest board for a moment, scribbling his name down under Quest 68, and returned to his table, still examining the Pheles Rod with interest.

I tried to make builds in sensible colors, but never had enough to pull it off...when that was the case, though, I always tried to stick to just two or three colors.

I got it from Quest 38, blame Zepher and Flipz.

1) Probably too many. 2) Makes me look innocent. 3) You really want to keep those inventors alive, don't you? There aren't any problems as far as I can tell.

Harriet Slutter and the Philosopher's Balls: Chapter 6
CMP replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You're not the only one who learned something there, I tend to panic when I'm scum and am contacted about my night action as well. I was really glad to get a chance to improve my crappy scum game. -

Rick/Panda suggested we rolecop him Night Three. We had relatively accurate suspicions about who had what roles anyway, so it didn't matter all that much to us whether you got voted off and revealed the PRs. -
I would think it would, it's kind of weird to be immune to something, but still be inflicted with it. Oh, and Remus should be Bleeding, between that and Counterstrike you can kind of just ignore him for now as long as you're in the back row.
-
I suggest giving Nyx the Sterile Gloves ASAP, while Thothwick uses his Dragon Scale on her and make sure she's the only one attacking Steerpike, being immune to poisoned, unless Guardian Angel is in effect. Shame. This guy's known for his poison, but does he have a Half Moon Venom Talisman? Nooo....

Well, one turned into a god, another is seemingly immortal, and both are widely regarded as some of the biggest bads Heroica has faced....

Is it wrong that I started laughing when Baba showed up?

Harriet Slutter and the Philosopher's Balls: Chapter 6

This was a hell of a fun game, Hinck. I was really surprised at the concept, but after the initial annoyance of having to log in all the time...I enjoyed it. It was great not to have behavior used in previous games as a selling point for a lynch. I loved the setting and all the references, as well as all the personality quirks. Mine was phantasmal. I was so glad to win as scum for once - hell, I was glad to survive as scum for once. I had an awesome team. We all kept our heads down in the day thread, but behind the scenes and in the night, that was when the crows came out to play. I doubt things would've gone as nearly as smoothly without Rick and Panda. Role-copping both the vig and the investigator in the first two days was just great. We took away a lot of the power roles pretty early, and they couldn't find one to group up around in time. Still, they did their best with what they had. It was unnerving that whenever someone posted a list of suspects at least one or two of us always seemed to be on it... Personally, I think I did fine, but that's about it. My first successful scum play, which is good, but I hardly feel like I did anything. The only thing I really had to worry about was Barkonius/Zepher's suspicion on me on Day Three (I believe), but luckily it got covered up by the SK business, which he ended up dying for. Wasn't happy about all the insults and dirt being flung. I don't like it whether it's a strategy, a gambit, or what. That's no excuse. It might be a game, but we can still all be civil about it. I had a lot of fun, Hinck, and I can't wait for your next game. -
That sounds pretty interesting.

My suggestion is not to just stuff the roleplaying in him - you're in the Fields anyway - but rather to have a less stoic reaction to what happens on Quests, or to at least make his voice on important decisions heard. Just because it can be an easy decision to make doesn't mean it has to be. Respond naturally to NPCs and other heroes and such. Hoke in the Hall is a pretty cool guy, he doesn't always have to be quietly efficient on a Quest.

You could buy this nifty Heavy Flail from me... "I s'pose. The bigger enemies are definitely the ones ya' gotta look out for...the ones I've faced are too strong to counterstrike 'em to death, unfortunately."
-
"Huh. I've never understood the point of all this armor...of course, havin' been in Heroica for a while now, I can understand its usefulness, but you've gotta do more than just take hits or ya' may as well not be fightin' at all. I, for example, like to be able to do everythin' anyone else can do. I've got this staff now, so takin' hits is easy enough. I can heal, too. And with all my weapons and hexin', takin' out enemies is as easy as it's always been. There's more to life than just shields," he suggested, watching the Grating Stone being passed to Guts. I gave you that thing to teach Docken a lesson, you know, not to sell it so you can go upgrade your shield some more.
-
I agree, Tarn seems like he'd do a good job of it.
-
Atramor is sometimes stupid and reckless. I again refer you to Triad. The Pheles Rod is pretty much a good example of his outlook on that. There'd have to be a hell of a lot at stake for him to consider dying for it. Absorbing a bunch of damage and reflecting some of it back, though, is something he's a lot more willing to do than he once was, given what happened at the end of 53...but it's more out of guilt than anything, So, to sum it up, he'd take a bullet for his party...but only if he knows it's not going to kill him.
-
Atramor raised his eyebrows upon hearing Guts mentioned he owned a ship, and resisted the urge to follow the raider and check it out. He instead nodded to Docken. "Aye, healin'll be pretty easy with this," he explained, gesturing to the Pheles Rod, slung across his back. "Easy to heal when only one person's gettin' injured, I s'pose. What've you been up to, Docken? Last we met ya' weren't carryin' around a shield like your life depended on it."
-
That's what we call a vain attempt at being remembered. Atramor wouldn't consciously go to his death unless he had a fair chance of coming out of it alive. Cast in point, Triad. Now, something like the cemetery battle in Quest 53, that would be a fantastic death.
-
I doubt they do go on Quests, which is why Atramor probably wouldn't make a good one. Too much questionable justice to deal out and friendly NPCs to accidentally maim. Death or nothing!
