I told everyone to hold off on the Captain in the hopes Russel would cover the untargeted Soldier. Come on, I was excited not to have to deal with an uncooperative NPC in a Zepher Quest for once. And if you keep on the Captain, keep in mind, I have Special Mirror, so I should get my own lackeys too...

A few factors are keeping the PS4 ever so slightly above the Xbox One in my eyes...namely this used games fee on the X1 and the intense focus on the Kinect, which though optional, is sure to rocket the price up on the console given it's now a pre-packaged necessity for it. I won't be getting either console day one anyway, and I'm sure there'll be a lot more information to base my decision on by then, but for now, PS4. Still, X1 has the timed exclusive DLC to many popular games and I'm a sucker for Gears of War and Halo, so... Okay, so according to to Kotaku, the 'used game fee' is the same price as full retail for the game...in short, Microsoft is trying to cut out used games. Bad move. Hopefully this'll encourage more people to buy a PS4 instead and keep brick and mortar used game stores in business...

"That leaves the two Soldiers, then."
-
"Doesn't matter much, as long as someone's coverin' Phillip." "Also, don't think I'm the party leader...don't think anyone is, in fact."
-
I should have 347 gold and no Heavy Flail. What's the Afflicted effect on Althior? Atramor narrows his eyes at the horde of long-dead...'actors', led by Phillip. Huh. Suddenly his advice on how to strengthen his defense didn't seem so well-advised....he held the Pheles Rod at the ready, but unlike its previous users....he wasn't one for slinging spells. The witch took a few steps forward. "Ignore the Footsoldiers and the Captains. They're mine, and better off ya'll not take the chance of their specials." He didn't hesitate, swinging the Pheles Rod at the head of the Rebel General from the front row. Battle Order Tesni Atramor attacks Rebel General, front row - Russel Althior Ellaria

"As soon as ya'll are ready, I'm headin' in there."

So you choose RP over stats because Sylph would choose stats over RP, which is bad RP, which you choose over stats, but Sylph boosts his own stats so well that, whether you choose RP or stats is irrelevant because you're ultimately RPing someone who chooses stats over RP, so regardless of your preference, you're RPing as a minmaxer. That's funny, it's like the other way around for me.

Catastrophic?

Please don't tell me Docken is about to become the Thothwick of Black Knights...

Atramor doesn't react to anything - the entire play - until the gust blows through it, when he sits up suddenly in his chair, pulling his hood back from over his bleary eyes just in time to see a handful of rats skitter down below the stage. He tugs his Counterstrike Gloves back on, and stands, sweeping the Pheles Rod from across his back to instead rest on his shoulder. "Now this is the kinda thing I had in mind."
-
I know, I half-suspected it was him, but assumed if he was a recurring NPC you'd make him a little more obvious than that.
-
Thanks, Zepher. Now my character is paranoid about your Quests' plots too...
-
I don't believe he is this time. I thought Arkham City would be his last laugh, pun completely and totally intended. It looks like it's Troy Baker.
-
"Might have to have a word with him, then," remarked Atramor, punctuated with another swig of rum, but in reality his suspicions were raised at least somewhat by the information. He couldn't recall any of Zane's interests that he'd've liked shared with his current employer, nor any reason he'd have to help out Johnny or continue travelling with XX. The aftereffects of that particular Quest would just keep on appearing, wouldn't they? He took another sip of rum. He was liking this job less and less.
-
Atramor stared for a moment, then set down his half-drunken bottle. "Johnny Everyman? Hah. Worthless bastard lucked out."
-
Well, it is the same tavern.
-
"Ah. Well, at least that Sir Tightass is all professional about it..." Atramor glanced at Tesni. "Aye, it's all a little odd. But as long as we do get paid for cuttin' up rats, I'll play along."
-
"Why's that?" chuckled Atramor towards Pigley's warning, taking another sip of rum.
-
Atramor reconsidered. "In that case, just a Rum," he remarked, picking up a bottle and downing it at the cost of 5 gold.
-
Two months or less, roughly. Four mandatory battles, five optional ones.
-
I know that. Nothing stat-wise? Atramor stood and made his way to the counter, which he piled 30 gold onto. "Three Rums, and one Hurricane."
-
Atramor inhales the thick scent of candles, booze, and sweaty sailors. It reminded him strongly of home. I'll buy stuff in a second. I know what most of those drinks do, but what about the Flaming Gumball?
-
Yeah, but....it's a prequel quote.
