  1. Atramor looked back at Guts. "Aye, it was more the spirits themselves that kept us all from fightin' with our best weapons. As for my tricks and poisons..." he paused. "....I dunno. Givin' an enemy a taste of their own medicine is always enjoyable, as is keepin' them off our backs for a round or two, but I'll give ya' the poison. Hasn't been as useful as it once was. You've got a point, though. My skills caused nothin' but trouble last Quest I was on...maybe straight up fightin' ain't my best place anymore," he muttered. "Anyway...I'm a little light on gold at the moment, Ellaria, but I can give ya' 150 or so back at the Hall, or maybe a pair of gems."
  2. Atramor observed Guts fiddling with a Magic Compass, and gave a quiet chuckle, remembering his own, nigh-on useless copy. "Wouldn't trust that thing to tell us...in any case, on the chance this wasn't him, it's not like we can be caught off-guard, it'd be the third surprise attack in the past two days." He shrugs, shaking his head, then turns his head towards Ellaria. "Out of curiosity, mate, would ya' have any thoughts to sellin' or tradin' off that Scroll of Inspiration? I'm sure ya' put it to better use when battles aren't as easy as the last few, but I'd be interested in it if ya'd consider it."
  3. The arms thing seems pretty interesting. I think titles suffice for now, but they'd be cool to have nonetheless. Kind of serious here, I don't think he bothered to even introduce himself before he attacked, and the alchemists didn't know his name.
  4. "'Marc the Mad'? Whatever ya' wanna call him, mate...in any case, he stormed into a secluded safehouse just as the Guild suggested he would, tried to kill in a manner that matches the the other alchemists, and looked pretty damn crazy to me. If that's not the guy we're lookin' for, then we've been lookin' for the wrong guy," maintained Atramor, leaning against the nearby wall again. "Aye, I suppose there's no point blundering back to Eubric in the dark. We'll wait 'til morning, then head back to the Guildhouse."
  5. Atramor's eyes fade slightly as Guts cuts down the majority of the spirits. The allied one dissipates, leaving behind a handful of items. The witch chuckles, after taking a moment to heal himself and John. "Wish that'd happen more often...." He pokes through the loot for a moment. He folds up the Robe of the Archmagi and tucks it into his cloak, along with a Grand Tonic and an Ether Core. He hands the remaining five Grand Tonics and Ether Core to Ellaria, along with 50 gold, while Guts gets the two Grand Potions and 100 gold. Once it's all been divided, he looks down at Marc, covered in open wounds, Guts' throwing knife buried in his chest. He tugs the weapon out of the mage's corpse and tosses it to the Raider. "That was easy enough."
  6. I've been using MS Word 2010. Dead serious. Can't do anything as nearly as fancy as Photoshop, but it works.
  7. He's probably still bitter that Hybros got the rapier....
  8. Wasn't that your item in the first place?
  9. Enemies can't be Afraid. Atramor stumbled against a wall, the room seeming to tilt as the enemy party broke into chaos at his own behest. He caught himself, and stood, an icy feeling gnawing at his heart, unable to face the Spirits head-on. He grumbled. He didn't have time for this. "Rian, throw that new bomb of yours. Guts, I assume you'll take those who aren't hexed, so for the rest of ya', focus on those who are..." He didn't have time to waste running around in the back...he tore the Witch's Talisman from around his neck for the first time in....months, fastening the Amulet of the Court in its place. He ignored the memories that swam before his mind as soon as he did so, taking a wild swing at Minor Spirit B from the back row. Battle Order Ellaria weakens Minor Spirit A, back row - Ellaria weakens Minor Spirit B, back row- Rian throws Wyvern's Breath at enemy party Atramor swaps Witch's Talisman for Amulet of the Court Atramor attacks Minor Spirit B, back row - Guts attacks Minor Spirit E, front row - Guts attacks Minor Spirit E, front row - Guts attacks Minor Spirit E, front row - John attacks Minor Spirit A, front row - John attacks Minor Spirit A, front row - Claude attacks Minor Spirit C ,back row - Claude attacks Minor Spirit C, back row - Ashley attacks Minor Spirit D, back row - Ashley attacks Minor Spirit D, back row - Rian attacks Minor Spirit F, back row - Rian attacks Minor Spirit F, back row - Major Spirit A attacks Major Spirit A, front row - We can then autoroll until one of us is in danger of being KO'd with this order, if you like, with this order: Battle Order Ellaria weakens next unweakend Spirit, back row - Ellaria weakens next unweakened Spirit, back row- Atramor attacks Minor Spirit B, front row - Atramor attacks Minor Spirit B, front row - Guts attacks Minor Spirit E, front row - Guts attacks Minor Spirit E, front row - Guts attacks Minor Spirit E, front row (if Steal was rolled) - Guts attacks Minor Spirit E, front row (if Steal was rolled) - John attacks Minor Spirit A, front row - John attacks Minor Spirit A, front row - Claude attacks Minor Spirit C ,back row - Claude attacks Minor Spirit C, back row - Ashley attacks Minor Spirit D, back row - Ashley attacks Minor Spirit D, back row - Rian attacks Minor Spirit F, back row - Rian attacks Minor Spirit F, back row - Major Spirit A attacks Major Spirit A, front row -
  10. So let me get this straight. For Quest 68, you need heroes above level 25, and at least one healer, to slay a horde of rats? It's the perfect Quest!!
  11. It's fine, running rounds while sick is no fun at all, especially with so many actions.
  12. Six people should be no problem for one badass and one immortal witch.
  13. Maybe I'll just team up with Baba. I heard she might be trying to burn Eubric to the ground anyway.
  14. For the love of....
  15. I thought Scupperer was the standard Uruk blade while Shiver was a BrickWarriors Dervish Blade.
  16. I think the number of trans-clear bricks would kill your computer.
  17. That is a big Progg.
  18. Only when you combine it with somebody as destructive as Guts. And let me tell you, it's not as nearly as fun as you think setting up the opportunity for somebody else to strike the winning blow.
  19. Suddenly the battles seem a lot less difficult, especially if we have that party with us.
  20. Didn't mean to compare it to 53, I was just asking. In any case, I'll probably be back by then, so I may come along. But what about the next Guffington?
  21. Can you promise loot appropriate for the difficulty of battles?
  22. It probably cost him more than the heroes earned in that Quest put together...
  23. Golden Dragon was one of the original Veterans, I assume you mean the Dragonlord. And can you blame him? The one time we saw him it was because over a dozen heroes broke into his house and killed his imported spiders.
  24. I like to think there's some sort of giant room above the Hall with the charade that it's where they're actively trying to fix the world, but it's actually a lounge where they kick back with martinis and spend most of their time playing poker as the heroes run around actually doing stuff.
  25. My next Quest is coming up soon(ish), just a matter of building and picture-taking now.
