Heroica RPG - Quest #69: The Hook on the Other Hand

No, only sealing would prevent his healing. Blinding doesn't do anything - it'd be like blinding a Sage, or sealing Nessa. Effect's there, it just doesn't do anything. -

Probably, but I think the issue here is that I didn't outline everything it affected it enough, not too much.
-
Agreed. It was very straightforward but it was still pretty cool overall, those are some of the best pictures in a Quest I've ever seen. It sounds like you already have a good idea on what to improve on, and as long as you do you'll be running some really fantastic Quests in no time.

"Sometimes I wonder whether a broken law is better than no law at all. Eubric's a pretty damn good example," mumbled Atramor. "We'll make sure none of the blue bastards find ya'." He turned his attention to Thalion and Nagure. "Stole some Shadeaux cargo for the Hinckwells, saved an alchemist kid and stopped a plague, went through a storm to kill a pair of pirates, cleaned the streets of scum for some amulet for the Town Guard, helped save Dastan, nearly got the amulet into Strivvi, helped kill an insane mage, killed another insane mage, killed an old insane mage and her army of rats," he explained bluntly, counting out the Quests on his fingers. He'd nearly lost track of how many he'd been on over the past two years.

Silver City Mafia: Finale - How the West Was Won
CMP replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for the feedback Tammo. The important thing is none of the players thought I was obvious, right? -
That's how I've always thought it worked.

I'm liking this healing enemies thing. I'm hoping it gets the heroes trying to figure our their priorities without dragging the battle out too much.

I'm gonna wait to see if the BTFIII version looks any better. I'd rather not leave the hood looking so, well, blocky. -
Atramor leaned back against the railing and listened quietly to the rest of the party, wishing for a rum. "Aye. Can't say I've been followin' the endeavors of other heroes too closely. What do the rest of ya' get up to?"

Your unusual quietness was mentioned. Usually that's a sign of scum or PR. -
Threatening someone in the past with that fact that you've already killed them once in the future is a good example of how awesome time travel is.

Yes to both, thanks. -
It's not a Zepher Quest, so it's not a matter of life and death for the poor NPC... I suppose we could've given the Ruby to him, but look at his stuff. He's a Level 50 Chi Monk with artifacts I'd loot him for if he ended up dying. He should be giving us stuff!

The Scumtastic Carletta Emilia Benita Anne-Marie Rosita Jeanette Priscilla Lucia Annabelle Cecilia Maria Louisa Garcia Louisa Giuliana Vittoria Roberta Consuela Rosalina Margarita Puerta lives on!!! Thanks for a fantastic game Tammo. I had a ton of fun, and it's obvious to see how much effort you put into the setup. The settings were great even though it was in LDD, and I loved the story and each characters' background. Looking through the roles, it seemed reasonably well-balanced - we scum had a good arsenal of roles, but the town had a masonry, which, well, I don't think any of us suspected. My scum team was fantastic. Our votes were dangerously close together on Day One, and a lot of us were very often on suspect lists due to our inactivity, but that fact that it was a clean sweep just goes to show how much of an effort our team put forward. I didn't do as much I should have, perhaps, but I still feel I did okay myself. -

No, I explained this in the necromancer battle, ranged fighters deal full damage no matter what. That goes for heroes, too, though, so bows and magic and such do full damage to Gontzo. -
"Flyin' like that ain't as fun as it looks," remarks Atramor to Tesni, the glow in his eyes dimming as the birds were killed off, sliding the Phoenix Essence into his cloak. "By the way, I think ya' can wear one or two more artifacts, mate, ya' might wanna think about equippin' some. We'll need everythin' we can get in this fight."
-
At the cost of ether, I think that's fair.

Oh, no, I meant as in it wouldn't make sense to have a trap that deals 100 damage and the a bomb that deals a tenth of that.
-
No Shield roll should produce a 10 gold bomb and that be it. Basic class, maybe. Expert class, no.
