That's ridiculous. Are you saying that not every error that occurs during time traveling threatens the very space time continuum?

"I'd've healed more if we weren't all constantly bein' beaten down by assassins," chuckled Atramor, pouring half a handful of chicken feed in front of McCafferey. "Well, that's why we're gonna go save him. And bein' the party leader ain't that bad once ya' get used to dishin' out orders. So tell me mate, what're we gonna be up against here?"
-
I almost wish I didn't bring it up. I just dumped half a dozen gems into the Pheles Rod, I don't wanna waste my time healing myself the whole Quest.
-
Shoot, was hoping to make it to level 30 this Quest. I think a little over 30.
-
Atramor glanced from the board to Tarn after noticing both their names were under the notice. Tesni and Tarn were the only ones he'd met of the party. "Hey, you'd be surprised what witches can do, mate," he remarked to the raider - their party leader, he was surprised to see. "I can heal plenty. But I s'pose some potions and such wouldn't hurt..."
-
Maybe Sandy could just put a poll for it for a few days in this topic to gauge everyone's opinion?

The Fabulous Carletta Emilia Benita Anne-Marie Rosita Priscilla Lucia Annabelle Cecilia Maria Louisa Garcia Giuliana Vittoria Roberta Consuela Rosalina Margarita Puerta would prefer you to use her full name. She'll admit to being middle-of-the-line, but what new things does she have to bring to the table but her suspicions? -
What about the Humanoid ruling?
-
Just don't force it. I like Atramor falling into hating someone (such as Wren, or the Wolfgang of Quest 23) and then just going against them again when he can, don't just choose the Quests where you meet a big bad and then get personal with him/her, you'll miss out on a lot of great, smaller Quests.
-
Don't involve yourself in them period. Let them involve you.

The Graceful Carletta Emilia Benita Anne-Marie Rosita Priscilla Lucia Annabelle Cecilia Maria Garcia Giuliana Vittoria Roberta Consuela Rosalina Margarita Puerta thinks making vague '50/50' '60/40' '55/45' remarks is a bit pointless. She thinks it's better to point out a few more solid suspicions than list cloudy comments on every single person. My primary suspicions lie in Boris, Abigail, and Michael. The first has been particularly active, but his attempted help often involves some very odd logic and more than a little fluff. Foolish townie or foolish scum? Again, she cannot find any conclusion. Abigail has been very quiet as of late, but is always prepared to put in her two cents when she does speak. But inactivity is no sure sign of scuminess. The Graceful Carletta is watching you. Micheal fell quiet and fluffy after he was stuck in the spotlight for a short time on Day One. I don't think he's vanilla, else he'd be trying at least a little harder to maybe clear himself or make some meaningful contributions. The Graceful Carletta has her money on PR townie or scum. Seeing as how we've apparently lost our investigator (and quite possibly our vig, too), not to mention he hasn't led us to any conclusions through private dealings or otherwise....she is edging towards the latter. Vote: Micheal Thompson (Mencot). -
Good. It's almost an undefeatable strategy, it should be costlier.

You had some leftover from selling your stuff. "Ahh, that's a lovely shield! I'll give you ninety gold for it, fifteen for the glass." -
Okay, that's a reasonable change, because regular Poisoning is really pointless, even at only Level 15. Not necessary, but it'd be cool. The real trick is to not die, you see.
-
I think Witch is fine. It loses gold-gaining, but with healing, a high health count, and both an offensive Shield and Special Damage, it's sort of a jack-of-all-trades. The ability to gain gold is insignificant next to the power of Special Mirror. I'm gonna miss it.

As the only Rogue that no longer has a gold-making ability (save Black Knights...sort of), it really makes your appreciate how easy you had it for yourself when you were raking in quite a bit more than your allies (this was before the consumables strategy, so it wasn't that much, for reference). The reason I think there's only one Witch in the fame is that most Rogues have, since the rise of the strategy, grown too reliant on it, and because there's literally no point to give it up. They'd be better off going Raider or Assassin and taking it to new levels. Look at the stats of someone using it like Sorrow, or Guts, or Dyric, or Hybros to any other hero. WP is around 20+. Plus a hell of a lot of immunities. Compare to others at their level, and bear in mind that in addition to much weaker stats, they're not always Lucky, Hastened, or Encouraged - no matter how much they give, they're always going to be stronger than their other party members unless their QM manages to work around it, which isn't easy. The game is just too easy for them, and makes every other offense class look pointless. Know how you can tell? 4 Assassins, 6 Raiders, 3 Sorcerers. 13 heroes went for offensive gold-gaining abilities that could easily skyrocket them to thousands of gold. Let's compare to the other pure offense-based classes, those that aren't part Rogue. 3 Hunters, 1 Battle Mage, 1 Evoker. 5 heroes. Let's add the 2 Mystic Knights, 3 Black Knights, and 2 Berserkers, they're offensive enough....nope, that's still less. As this point in the game, gold i just an extremely pliable resource. You could buy enough consumables to replace a Cleric, enough SP and the Lucky effect to make the defensive abilities of Knight and Ranger pointless, WP high enough to make a Barbarian envious, damage and weapon imbuement to take away from Mages...it really needs a nerf. Sandy said himself classes should be good at one thing and bad at others. Right now, these classes can do almost anything. I'm in favor of the Humanoids rule.
-
Great rule suggestion, Scuba. The whole reason the Hunter's Plate gains gold from Humanoids is the flavor, I didn't realize how much balancing it'd do if applied to Rogues and such. Maybe Steal is changed to steal one random piece of loot from an enemy, no matter the type?

More good news. The Mighty Carletta Emilia Benita Anne-Marie Rosita Priscilla Lucia Cecilia Maria Garcia Giuliana Vittoria Roberta Consuela Rosalina Margarita Puerta just found out she's part French, too. More bad news, we're down eight townies and no scum. I'm starting to wonder that despite the rather off MO, maybe the snakeskin killer is the vigilante? Both targets have been rather suspicious in the days. Weird how Zachary died in the middle of the day and Connie died at night, though. It's possible. The Mighty Carletta noticed his strange behavior, too, but she is not sure whether it is indicative of scuminess or not. -
"Hey, Captain Patricia, you know those guys we've been spying on and you sent us to flush out because they kidnapped both a hero and a watchman? Well...."
