  1. Compare to Dig It! and tell me that makes any sense.
  2. Bombs are practically worthless, though. Cannoneers can make them on their Miss rolls.
  3. Atramor returns from his flight fairly quickly, tumbling to a rather painful halt on the deck despite the wonders it'd done to heal him. He scrabbled to his feet, regaining his senses. "Maybe the bots should stand down, I sure as hell don't want that to happen again." He shook his head, repeating his actions.
  4. Special Damage is redirected to me, so I think I should Special Mirror Heavenly Flight.
  5. It doesn't, I've asked.
  6. Liking the changes. Barbarian advanced classes have been a little weak.
  7. How is that a deadly combination? The stock artifacts for sale aren't that great. What cons do other classes have? I don't see classes as having pros and cons, more of how well they can fulfill a role in combat. And I think you mean a 1/36 chance. What is the class so great at that I'm not seeing? Without the Shield it's mediocre in terms of outright power, and with it, it's still entirely unpredictable what happens. What if you're already at full health? What if you're facing an undead, or an enemy immune to effects and instant kill? You're left with damaging a random opponent with an element they're probably immune to due to the environment they're in or gaining a single random gem.
  8. Then that's definitely overkill, yeah.
  9. With every single real advantage being completely randomly decided, on a Shield roll. Its disadvantages lie in that you make the class yourself. If you're not equipped with good artifacts, you aren't fulfilling any real combat role. The Shards I agree at a bit overkill. Perhaps Mythril instead. Gotcha! doesn't seem to fit in too much with the other Shields. Maybe it reduces the enemy's level by a certain amount?
  10. Interesting. Gonna have to try and get on this Quest, this sounds like a blast to play. I don't think it's overly strong. All those fantastic and random (unless you want a vastly weakened Critical Hit) effects only take place on a Shield roll. I love love love the jack-of-all-trades feel to it, that's something I value quite a lot in a class. That sounds awful, to be honest. Enemies are getting up into the high fifties level-wise, and it's not a Rogue-based class. That'd get extremely expensive.
  11. Guts stepped on a butterfly, didn't he?
  12. Yes, I know, but Ineffectiveness doesn't divide damage, it just nullifies it (or reduces it by one multiplier, if there already is a x2 elemental multiplier). You have three gems ineffective against rock, one ineffective against flying, and one effective to flying. No damage. But again, not much else you can do. There's a good chance you're get a Shield anyway, we're all Lucky.
  13. If it was a Zepher Quest, the enemies would have all the positive effects, not us.
  14. "Aye, I'll be careful, mate."
  15. Sylph and Pretzel both fire off spells, but both castings fail; Reg takes both, and they don't do a thing. He only smirks. "Alright then, we'll do it this way." PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 16. "Don't think that hammer'll do much to those things, Nagure."
  17. That's not how it works. Ineffectiveness against an enemy type does no damage, not halved damage. But you don't have a backup weapon, so yeah, it's probably a good idea to just attack and hope for a Shield.
  18. Atramor grumbled, scooping up the pile of cards he'd been playing Opalix with, to no successful end. He was more than happy to have a few birds to take out his frustration on. That particular thought drew an annoyed glare from McCafferey, now taking shelter behind the mast. "Don't think Rubio or Garnetic'll have much an effect on these things, Tarn, and I think I should go first, but other than that, don't seem that complicated beyond 'hit the damn birds'." Maybe ya' could make 'em a little more frail, Thalion?" The witch took up a weapon in each hand, taking a vicious slash at the male Roc from the front row with Conspirator, and followed with a swing at it with the Pheles Rod in the back row.
  19. "Glob?!?" sputters the girl, suddenly raising her gold-encrusted dagger, but she's quickly cut off by Reg. "Forgive Little Red, she's our least experienced member, but quite the rogue, you see. And they're gnomes, my good man, not halflings, they're quite particular about being mistaken for other races of short stature...I have nothing against them. In fact, in exchange for a reasonable sum-" he waves his gauntlet-ed hand at the chest of coins. "-we protect them from trespassers, thugs, and other vagrant types that like to wander the sewers." Reg grins his widest, a trace of a threat behind his immense pride and charisma. "There's but one Wolf under Eubric, my friend. You speak to one of his finest units." He raises his hands. "We are his Sewer Wolves, guardians of ancient holes, protectors of tunnels, and their....smaller residents. " The armored dwarf grunted, gripping his axe tightly. Reg clapped him on the shoulder. "Relax Difur, they don't dare accuse of us of any wrongdoing. My mossy friend, we're not assassins, nor are merchants sewer-dwellers. If we kill, it's only in the defense of our home."
  20. The enormous slug looks between all the heroes for a moment, then calls out in a low, booming voice. "REUGA! Boska, koochoo kung wata nee choo!" The party has no time to react as darkened figures start shifting forward from the darkness of the sewers. The frontmost shape - the largest humanoid one - seems to have glittering golden teeth grinning out at them. It picks up a limp Moke by the back of the shirt, shakes its head, and casually flings him behind the chest he brought. The group is now mostly in view. The heroes have a sneaking suspicion these aren't the Wolves they were looking for. Their leader (supposedly) smirks at the heroes from under his helmet, teeth glimmering a polished gold. "Ain't this some surprise? Not only intruders, but intruders working with our stunted little friends..." "I remember these guys! Word is they're looking for some sort of killer. Well, you won't find any down here, nu-uh. I've been very good at leaving marks unharmed, right, Daddy?" "Of course, Sweetheart, I'm very proud of you - but I think we'd best leave these fellows to Reg, they seem to be quite well-armed." "CAN I HIT THEM?! I WANNA HIT THEM!!" "For gods' sake, Feldorin, I told you not to get all hyped up when we're meeting people!" growled Reg towards the elf, before turning back to the heroes with a charismatic smile. "Now, can we help you?"
  21. Fantastic figs. Digging Spiderwoman and Green Arrow. Love the detail LEGO's pouring into them.
  22. Atramor placed one boot on the railing, looking down over the edge for just a moment. It was pretty fantastic, he had to admit...though he couldn't tell if it was the height or the feeling of invincibility the automatons gave him. McCafferey was practically gouging her talons into the woodwork for dear life. "This is a damn good ship ya' have here, Mr. Legonardo. A little ornamental for my tastes, but I s'pose ya' don't need to worry too much about sturdiness when Neron and Neredice aren't tryin' to tear it apart. What speed can she get up to?"
  23. Pretzel successfully seals Nessa. The party follows Moke as the gnome drags the huge chest out of the office and down the tunnel opposite the one the heroes cam in through. This passageway is clearly more recently built, the walls of a newer stone as the grime fresh - where there should be a sluice of sewer water, however, there is just a bone dry rut. Something's clearly blocking it. The stench starts to become unbearably. Moke gives a squeak once the party's gone quite the distance under Eubric. "Oh, n-n-no...it's him...." The next corner they turn reveals exactly who he's talking about, and causes the weak-willed gnome to faint right where he stands. "...Hi chuba da naga, kung? Kee chai chai cun kuta?" How will the party respond?
  24. The Intuitive Carletta Emilia Benita Anne-Marie Rosita Jeanette Priscilla Lucia Annabelle Cecilia Maria Louisa Garcia Louisa Giuliana Vittoria Roberta Consuela Rosalina Margarita Puerta will vote: Boris Wheeler (TheBoyWonder), for reasons she has stated both today and yesterday. That's right, her name has two Louisas. Deal with it.
  25. The next one I think is one of my best so far. Take that how you will.
