yes you do. the theme is to make a female EF pilot and her mech. whether you want to make a robot faction female EF member or if you want to make a human faction female EF member is up to you. there will be 2 poll topics. first poll topic will vote for the overall winner based on the three criterias set out. the second poll topic will allow you to vote which mechs are the best in each of the three categories. ie, first poll only allows you to vote one mech for winner. second poll will allow you to vote 3 separate mechs for each of the three categories. hope that's clear.

sets dont impress. i'll probably just get the house set sincei didnt get building bonanza. :-/ the car is horrendously ugly. the ferrari 2006 and the black sports car 2006 are much better.

wow...you're right, 6989 is a really cool set. i dont particularly like the moc though. it's way ridiculously big and the mf guns...dont get me started. :-P it's like they are trying to compensate for something...if you catch my drift... ;-)

wow...can you say super investment? all this talk about 30 year anniversary stamps on the 2007 sets is going to make them highly in demand once they sold out! i'll be sure to buy out SW sets from my local TRU, target, and walmart stores whenever there is a sale. wohoo...

hmm, i don't quite understand your logic. if that's the case they would have to hire japanese designers instead of japanese test kids. :-D they should hire AMERICAN test kids...they have short attention span...a syndrome known as ADHD! lol :-D but i have to agree with you on japanese mocers. sugegasa sure made a mark on BS with his many mecha mocs. i also like his customized mini-minifig EF team, with the short stubby legs in typical japanese schoolgirl socks. lol... :-D it's just hilarious. wish he posted instructions for his remake of the mini EF mechas.

lol...you don't want to know how many lines i've since diverge from my original intention of EF and SW only. let's see.... batman, city, creator, dino attack, vikings, classic castle, KK2, pirates. and the bad thing with me is that i refuse to break down any set into parts pack. argh!!! and i keep picking up sets as long as it's cheaper than retail. :-/ i think i just gotta stop looking at sets... stop temptation at the source! :-P

looking at the pictures it seems at-st driver uses the same gun as the clone troopers. so i suspect there are only two new guns, the stormtrooper's longer laser rifle and the shorter clone gun. :-/ just my guess...

i think target is going to get it instead of tru...10175 was also a target release but it was sold out on target.com. not sure if the set will make it to the stores...but i guess it wont be as popular as 10175.

everything looks spiffy except for ilc. imo it's too "midgetized"...it doesn't look nice next to my x-wing, slave 1, b-wing, everything else. it's kinda like the isd playset...very weird when lined up next to everything else. i wish they had made it into a $100 playset and made it a little bigger than it is right now. :-/

hi, i got royal knight's castle 6090 just last week. what i don't get is why fans of royal knights think this castle is better than 8877? i got both and i can't really say which is better. i kinda like 8877 since the castle sections are more accessible. 6090 has a very small throne room and the dungeon and pitfalls are small too, which means my son is prone to destroy bits of the castle when trying to play. i like to try my hands on a few other classic sets like 6080, 6085 or 6076, but before i try to outbid gylman i thought i should ask just in case i ever think of getting my investment back. ;-)

If only it was removable and come in different pattern. imagine a parachuting special police task force, or a parachuting search and rescue specialist. right now it's just digger and in camo gear. :-P

yup, no restriction, the sky's the limit. okay - i'm not going to debate the female robot's existance, just be sure to create something visible other than to slap on an earbud foam on a devastator and call it a female robot with an afro. :-D additional "rules": no altered or non-lego parts, customized decals okay. good luck!

that's some crazy collection you have there. where are you going to find room for 2007 sets? :-P i was thinking of getting 3 more mech sets (using the tru buy 2 get 3rd free sale) coupled with my spare thunder fury to add 2 combo models to my collection....nothing fancy, just one of each, missing a striking venom and the BW vs WL set. :-P

that's the beauty of lego. you come up with the story. ;-) create your perfect female EF pilot and share with the world. :-P p.s. what i was hinting at is that it doesn't have to be for the human faction, in case anyone was STILL wondering. *wacko* how else are you going to explain a female robot?!?!? do they make them with bolts and the males with screws? the robots aren't smurfs if you catch my drift... ;-) *sad* p.s. to answer LV's question: no restriction this time whatsoever apart from the size (no larger than SV or BW, which is more for the mech to fit in...we can't have any upstart trying to usurp mecha one's glory now do we?), and vehicles (no tank, planes, copters, APV/ATV or other simple vehicles - too easy ;-) )
