  1. It's probably due to the fact that HF isn't as popular as other themes, sadly. People aren't posting sightings because no one bothers! Hopefully we'll see them within the next week or so.
  2. Both look absolutely incredible. The legs on Laval look a bit uninspired and I'm not sure I like the bareness of Cragger's lower legs, but these are the only complaints I have with them! I love the fact that both have back armour, they fill them out really well. Loving Cragger's new blade piece. Both are definitely bought on sight! They sure impress me better than the Brain Attack sets did, can't wait to see the other sets. EDIT: Is that lime green on Cragger? Looks a like it's too dark to be so.
  3. Maybe we could have a Chima 2013 constraction topic? I hope Eris' and Razar's wings turn out to be a new mold, and not like something like Ultrabuild Batman's. Also I'm guessing Gorzan will use a Hulk/Stormer XL ish build. That's assuming that the sets are at the same price point as the Ultrabuilds/larger HF figures. Anyhow, definitely looking forward to these sets more than the HF ones.
  4. Sweet news. To be honest I'm looking forward to ALL of them, especially Cragger. Can't wait to see all the new heads. Are those confirmed for a summer 2013 release?
  5. The angle makes Furno's empty crotch area look better, but I won't be able to judge completely for sure until I see reviews. Still can't figure out his torso construction, but definitely the best of the wave. My opinion of the other sets have not changed, except for Rocka. His helmet looks too long and disproportionate.
  6. Seeing the zoomed in pics makes me worry about Furno's torso even more. It's like all the bulk stops right before his crotch. I'm not just talking about the fact that his torso armour doesn't cover the crotch of the torso bone piece, even the side armour is just hanging off his sides like I mentioned before. Of course, the cape covers this up quite well, but it's still a problem for me.
  7. Loving the Raven vehicle, definitely getting that. The Eagle's Castle is definitely disappointing. Hoepfully we see the Lion's and Croc's bases in the summer wave.
  8. Looks too organic to be a constraction set, but that's a possibility. So apparently when the creatures put a Chima orb in their chest, they turn into the giant constraction figures. Looking forward to this.
  9. There's this too - 70012 Razar's Chi Raider, or do we know about that one? Are both of them Summer releases?
  10. I love the Space Swarmer! Compact and cool. The Bug Obliterator is disappointing though.
  11. Well, in the Chima thread, Aanchir found a source confirming the presence of constraction sets... I guess we'll see!
  12. I see. Here's hoping we get pictures soon.
  13. With Lego putting such a tight lid on pictures, I'm guessing we'll only see them at Toy Fair next year.
  14. Ironically, that's true to the topic title - just speculation!
  15. It's not like a million other sites out there won't get the pics up within the first day! Still appreciate your work Aanchir. Really looking forward to the flagship set of the summer wave, hopefully it's a fortress of some sort.
  16. Just had a closer look at that picture - you can spot the Savage Planet paw piece, the new Furno XL/Pyrox hilt piece, a 2.0 torso, a Breakout chest plate, a Captain America shield, and what seems to be 5 size shells. I'm really hoping this is true. If so, I could see Lego reusing the 3.0 helmets - specifically, Rocka, Bulk, and Furno - not as headpieces, but as possible armour.
  17. If you guys head over to the Chima thread, it seems we might be getting Constraction sets for Chima after all (albeit not in the winter wave):
  18. Speaking of Furno - any idea how is torso is assembled? Aside from the uncovered crotch, he looks like he has bone pieces hanging down his sides where the size 3 trans orange shells attach to. Yikes. If not for the cape it looks like it's going to be incredibly gappy. As for the 2.0 system - there's much more to be explored! It reminds me a lot of the Master Grade line in Gundams, where the models have an inner frame, and armour pieces slapped on to complete the look. What I'd like to see - once the 2.0 system have gone "stale" - is a total revamp of the armour shells. Make them more streamlined and a better fit for the bone pieces. They could also be more stylised so we don't see the same shells being repeated every wave, and blend in better with add-ons like the bubble shoulder armour and the shin/knee guards.
  19. I guess it was clearer in Ninjago who the good and bad guys were. The individualistic emblems of the ninja and the Serpentine just gave them an additional level of detail. Here, it's more unclear who the good and bad guys are.
  20. That's interesting! I've completely forgotten about that list. With all the sets revealed, could that be an exclusive?
  21. If Chima is to last long, maybe Lego could have a rotation system with the factions, or have one permanently defeated and replaced with another. Five factions is already a lot to handle - we're not getting enough sets per faction right now. I do hope we get proper raven sets in the summer.
  22. Agreed. Given how Ninjago's show worked exceedingly well for Lego in terms of promoting the theme, I guess Lego would pick up from there with a show for Chima.
  23. The 2013 sets aren't particularly bad. They seem to be, or rather, they're disappointing, simply because they pale in comparison to the Breakout sets. In Breakout, even the smaller sets (or should I say, especially the smaller sets) manage to pull off an outstanding and unique design with so few pieces. The Brain Attack sets, however, seem a little uninspired. It's probably got to do with the whole melee-weapon-and-shield combo that all the Heroes sport, giving them some uniformity and taking away some of the uniqueness their Breakout counterparts have. So while the Brain Attack sets aren't bad per se, we're probably downplaying their design more so because we're comparing them with Breakout.
  24. So a show for Chima has been confirmed?
  25. I'm guessing its "CHEE-ma" - I mean, the theme's about magical animals, so I figured it got its name from chi, pronounced "chee". You know, all that yin and yang and Ninjago. But it sure as heck isn't "chi-MAAA" that the guy is pronouncing it. It's ridiculous. I agree that the Brick Show can get pretty annoying, with their on and off overenthusiasm. But they get their views, so I can't argue with that.
