  1. Thanks for the info, guys. Unfortunately I'm still schooling and have no access to BL. Looks like I'll have to make do with my broken parts and hope more of them don't break!
  2. We'll get our pictures sooner or later, just be patient. In fact, this time of the year last year we still did not have our pictures. Also, with the return of the small Hero sets, I wonder if we're sticking with the new bag system or going back to canisters. Personally I prefer the bags, they're unique and more importantly, save me a lot of storage space!
  3. I'm aware HF pieces are very sturdy, and I'm glad TLG has made the socket change. But for older sets like Bionicle - I've had some of my really old sockets like Slizers break on me when all I did was try to move the joints after taking them out of storage, and some of my Bionicle sockets are getting so stiff I'm afraid they'll break. Since I live in SIngapore, Lego's replacement service isn't an option for me - so how do you guys usually fix broken sockets? Does super glue work? Thanks!
  4. Nothing much we can garner from the names really. I do wonder whether it'll be a themed wave or a mix and match like Breakout. Hopefully we'll see the remaining Heroes in the next wave.
  5. Holy crap, I can't wait. Really hoping the rest of the Heroes are featured.
  6. You can find them in almost any store anywhere! EDIT: Stringer be rockin'.
  7. Picked up Stringer at a local gift shop today. Wow. Did the guitar mod and he looks sweet! Comes close to Rocka as my favourite HF set of the year. Anyway, while I was at the gift shop, a little girl behind me in the queue was buying Core Hunter while her younger sister had a Friends set! Nice to see even girls have an interest in HF.
  8. Just got Bulk today. I love him, modded his rocket launcher attachment by replacing it with a Slizer arm, works perfectly. My one and only complaint is his shoulderpads: While they do look awesome, they get in the way of his helmet too much. Been playing with him for barely an hour and the sides of his helmet are all scratched up. It's not noticeable unless you remove the helmet, but the scratches are still there, due to them rubbing against the shoulderpads every time you move his head. Do be careful when playing or posing him!
  9. I'm not believing anything until I see actual scans, probably at the end of the year.
  10. Thanks! I might try a different approach, though, to emulate the new piece found in Stormer/Speeda.
  11. What pieces did you use to fix his back, might I ask?
  12. My guess is that it prevents the technic arm holding the rocket launcher from swinging backwards too far due to the weight of the launcher. But it's silly, I agree, and definitely something I'll change when I get him. Anyway, thanks for the review, Gatanui! Definitely one of my favourite sets of the summer wave. Aside from the rocket launcher connection, I wish he had more silver on him.
  13. I'm not too bothered about Bulk or Core Hunter having short arms, since they're not wielding any handheld weapons. Stringer here has to wield his weapon with one or even two hands, and having short arms is more of a problem for him.
  14. Nice review! Stringer is probably my favourite amongst the summer wave. The short arms are a disappointment, but I guess I can live with that. I'm also planning to use the Metru chest armour to fill in his back as back armour to cover it up a little more.
  15. Posted this before but it when unnoticed: Does anyone have the bags for Toxic Reapa with both the old and the new updated feet? I'm wondering if it's possible to tell if a set has the updated feet from the packaging, perhaps the barcode like the old CMFs.
  16. Can't wait for your reviews, Gata! Anyway, I know this is really late... But is there any chance we might get an exclusive set? We haven't had one of those in the 2.0 system.
  17. How stable is that? Could I request a picture from the front? I'm limited on pieces, but if that simple mod makes him look a ton better then I might actually get this guy.
  18. Does anyone have the bags for Toxic Reapa with both the old and the new updated feet? I'm wondering if it's possible to tell if a set has the updated feet from the packaging, perhaps the barcode like the old CMFs.
  19. Ehhh... Really turned off by Voltix and Bulk's black feet. Why couldn't they have given us gunmetal? Plus, Core Hunter's back attachment is really disappointing, with that ball joint sticking out. Shall wait for better picture reviews, the lighting in the videos make it really hard to judge a figure's colour scheme.
  20. Still no reviews of the Ultrabuild sets in the Action Figures forum? I was expecting to see some reviews, considering we've seen reviews of all of the System sets in the Licensed forum already.
  21. Now that's an idea. What a load of bone pieces that will need!
  22. Just saw the episode - very enjoyable. Best episode so far. I really like how Stormer looked, I might consider getting his set now. Anyways, on the whole BP thing - he clearly stated his plan was to steal the plans for HF and then destroy the entire place, by plugging himself in and overcharging it. Also, the way Zib talked gave me the impression that it's another villain outside of BP/VN orchestrating the whole thing. Core Hunter, perhaps?
  23. The ED is nice, but I found a link of the full OP while listening to it - all I can say is that I am hopelessly addicted. It's a great, catchy song!
  24. Thanks for the review, DV! I'm now convinced to get Capt, and mod his shoulders. Just wondering - the blue on him is the same blue as on Surge's, right? (I'm assuming it is, going by the shot of the new parts.) It's a little hard to tell from your super HQ pics. Thanks once again!
  25. The reviews for the Avengers System sets are starting to pop up - any idea when we'll start seeing reviews for the Ultrabuild sets?
