I think the large number of new, sepcialized parts is a clear indicator and preparation for an upcoming series of motorbikes. Many people are mentioning working brakes. I don't think normal, friction-based brakes will happen, since they will eventually wear down the brake components. But locking brakes/handbrakes/clucthes are totally possible, just look at the new pullbacks. And yes, I agree with @nerdsforprez said regarding the focus of the sets. They simply reflect the focus of the average costumer, all bling but not much substance...

Might be a good challenge to motorize it like @piterx But, yes it would take a lot of torque to get it to speed, though being heavier it may be harder to flip over once it's going. -

I hope to see more of the new 9L shock absorbers in the future sets, maybe 1:8 supercars or even 1:8 SUVs. -

I hope to see the new rear shock absorber in the upcoming supercars, they usually have problems with suspension being too soft. I think this is a great set to start the new 1:5 ?superbikes? lineup and I will be buying one for sure. -

The real bike has a 6 speed gearbox, I'm a bit bummed out they only put a 3 speed one in the Lego model. But I'm sure it has to have a squential switching lever. -
As promised, we have published a new Android test version (2.3.7) of our BuWizz app. With this test release we are mostly focusing on the firmware update feature, but we have also added new configuration options for center steering. More info can be found in the attached .pdf file link here. If you are not already a tester, you can join by following this link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.buwizz.buwizz2 We appreciate any feedback, especially regarding the firmware update process. Yes, of course you can use multiple and different BuWizz bricks in the same model and control profile.

One thing I just thought about is the pistons size? Aren't the normal fake pistons too small at this scale? I know the Creator Harley Davidson used a bigger, brick built piston engine. Having custom bigger pistons something around 2 studs across in a 3x3 block would be very useful not only for 1:5 motorcycles but also1:8 supercars with high displacement engines. -

Very excited about this new UCS direction they are taking the motorcycles. Can't wait to see the new wheels and suspension parts, they will be useful for other kinds of models too. -
I'm sorry you feel this way. I'm helping people with support tickets and on this forum every working day and more. Yes we did, but we have our own internal developer for that. We also knew that we can't possibly please everyone's needs, that's why I pushed hard to have the API released, so people can develop their own solutions. Please read the user guide here which will answer most of your questions regarding center steering setup: https://buwizz.com/USERGUIDE.pdf The PF servo could be a bit more jerky due to a higher supply voltage as compared to the BuWizz 2.0. Constant speed control does work, but still has to be implemented in the app, but first we are focusing on fixing bugs. A small update, we are almost ready for the public beta of the new app with FW update and steering parameters. You will be able to see the version in the manager window. The app will ask you before starting a FW update and it will be mandatory.

I am interested what color the new supercar will be. I doubt Lego will re-use orange, azure, dark blue or lime for the new supercar. I also belive the color will not be the same as used in the smaller white porsche or the red Ferrari. I also think it will not be black, because you lose the black (carbon) details. My best guess is that the new 1:8 scale car will be in one of the following colors: Gray or dark grey, purple, magenta, teal (though it's close to lime), maybe yellow (though it's close to orange and usually reserved for construction machines), or even pink!

I just realized the small 1:16 scale licensed cars and the 1:8 supercars are following a very simillar color sequence: Porsche was orange and so was the Corvette Chiron was light and dark blue with black and Sienna is blue and black Sian was lime and so is the Mustang Coincidence? -

Check the LDD model, they are marked. I can share the BuWizz app profile later when I'm home.- 56 replies

Danil... I understand your frustration and I would love if there was a way just to snap my fingers and have an ideal product with an ideal app which would make every single person happy... But that is not possible and I'm working and pushing as much as I can to have it done not just soon, but done properly. Currently we are internally testing the software and firmware for BuWizz 3.0 which fixes the issues with the center steering and adds some 10+ additional steering factors including the adjustment of the steering's calibration PWM power. We are also throughly testing the FW updater. Now please understand these things take time to make sure they are robust and they are working properly, we don't wan't to end up with bricked BuWizz bricks.
