Autodesk Inventor vs LDD/SR 3D
Zerobricks replied to mvshabeer's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Actually you can do simple aniamtions in LDD with linkages, and such, but yeah nothing complex as gears, etc... You are gonna have to make all the parts from scratch though... unless there is a way to import LDD geometry... I think Lego digital designer forum is a better place for this topic. -
I noticed that too on youtube! Any voulenteers?

Zerobricks replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I tried making a working navigation on youtube, and here's a little experiemntal video. I think the concept could be very usefull for vide reviews so you can just simply skip between pictures without searching and watching whole review. -

The PF train controller does not need constant signal. It instructs teh receiver the speed and the receiver remembers it. You need signal only to change speed/direction.

First war problems haha! Trade it!

These are really cute! And awesome part usage!

Gandalf? Yeah some people can be quite "lost" in roundabouts... What I dont like is when they dont signal they will go out and you wait like an idiot to get in.
-
Its like this...maybe some people are afriad of roundabouts because they suck at making decisions and therefore prefer traffic lights?

I agree, they are quite smoother than the usual traffic lights. But the give you more responsebility because you have to make your own decisions (no lights to tell you what to do).

Thats a real great looking figure! The chains make her look very exotic. I also love the way you used panels for helmet.

Zerobricks replied to MajklSpajkl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thats a really amssive model, mate! Also a great reconstruction of the real deal. The way you made the planetary gear hubs is just awesome and I might steal it About diff locks, maybe you could use small pneumatic cylinders for those? Cant wait for a video! -

Best Technic Set
Zerobricks replied to Pauger's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think 8258, 8110 and 8043 are one of the best and usefull ones for MOC-ing. Also 41999 is awesome on a different level.
