  1. Yep in about a week. If amazon would have Ninja Ambush for 7 dollars I would have bought 5 of those too. Guess I will have to buy it from Lego S@H next month.
  2. I buy like 90% of my sets from amazon.com to save on shipping. They dropped the price of Knight's Showdown from 10USD to 7USD (which is the normal price at Lego Shop at Home) so I ordered 5 of those, and picked up a copy of Monster 4 for the extra skeleton/troll heads.
  3. I missed out on it. =(.
  4. I regret not buying extra copies of the battle packs. But the Prison Carriage Rescue is actually a decent battlepack. 3 dollars a minifig and 1 dollar for the horse. In terms of sets that is the cheapest way to get more minifigures. Plus the lion knight has the armored printing.
  5. Yea his army is pretty awesome. Makes me feel like buying a ton of skeletons in an attempt to replicate his army. No clue how he built the skeleton centaurs or skeleton giants and other creatures though.
  6. Skeletons are pretty sweet once you add on some helmets. And other customizations like this guy did here. And here is my attempt at an
  7. Organized minifigures into two more armies on youtube. and
  8. In theory credit cards are amazing because you have an extra 30 days to accumulate interest compared to paying cash on the spot. And taking inflation into account. Your money 30 days from now are worth n% less. Combine it with the interest gained, you are spending slightly less money by using credit cards. In theory. But probably way off topic. The Medieval market Village is amazing though. Definitely buy it while you still can.
  9. Make sure you know what you want. For a while I was conflicted as to if I wanted more bricks or more minifigures. Now I realize I want lots of minifigures. So I try to buy a lot of those sets where is around 3 USD per minifig in price ratio.
  10. Well a lot of people still want that Dragon Knights castle. And some people still want a Jousting set. I still want to see a chess/tictactoe set. They made a chess set for the psst few castle themes. How could they stop now? =(. Unless Lego Games is proving to be more profitable (a handful of microfigs are probably cheaper to produce than 10-20 minifigures).
  11. I think the Dwarfs are more boring, because of their legs make them unable to do cool poses and whatnot. And their beards cover their torsos which can be a good or bad thing. But in this case it blocks most of the detail of the torso and the head. Wish their had shorter beards as a variation.
  12. Incredible the gatehouse has nice details. And a nice variety of civilian minifigs. Is that Hagrid's beard on one of the minifigs?
  13. I guess you are right. I was mainly referring to buying only Lego sets to build armies. I guess very little people do that and just buy the minifigures themselves from bricklink to save money. But the dragon knights still has more elite troops vs regular. Perhaps Lego's intention to allow them to beat the lion knights even though they are outnumbered. I count the King and Wizard as troops too.
  14. Well I organized my Dragon Knights into a .A whopping total of 18 Dragon Knights! And add in whatever dragon knights is in the King's Castle. I have yet to build that set for some reason.
  15. Well not really that lopsided considering The Village Mill Raid is the most expensive set. So it would be costly if you tried to even out your armies that way. Escape from Dragon Prison and the King's Wagon Ambush are both 2v2. and Blacksmith Attack is a cheap way to get extra Dragon Knights. But your army will still be lopsided because your Dragon Knight Army will mostly be knights while the Lion Kingdom has mostly soldiers.
  16. madoka, do you have any huge minifigure displays. So many minifgures, I would like to see them in some massive MOC.
  17. And also the non metal colored weapons in previous castle sets are all fakes or just wood!
  18. That looks incredible. The trees and foilage on the ground is great.
  19. Hah. That would be sweet. And shows how evil the Dragon Knights truly are.
  20. Both the TC and me got the same pink horse barding as replacements so it seems that it is the norm, or the horse bardings are more prone to the issue. Like they fixed all the machines except for the horse barding ones.
  21. I just got my replacement horse barding and it is the same pinkish hue. =(.
  22. They could still have conflicts. For example the current Kingdoms sets. What if the Outpost Attack had technic pins so that you can connect it to other outpost attacks or the king's castle. And they could make a few smaller sets like "wall" "tower" "gate" etc. And then customers can buy how many of each section to make their own castle. The designs would be the same, and you can make them faction specific. So a Lion gate, wall, or tower would come with Lion Knight minifigs and possibly even Dragon Knights to fight them. And vice versa.
  23. Can't deny my house of the free hat from the sun. And closing the blinds doesn't stop the sun from setting so the lighting would still be inconsistent.
