Based on gas bag headed predators from the Techno Union homeworld of Skako, the Octuptarra Tri Droid was a successful weapon used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the galaxy during the Clone Wars. The only part of this MOC I didn't build is the head which is from the first Homing Spider Droid. Otherwise everything else is original. I know it's a bit late but here's my version of the FO gunner's weapon. I also decided to try and create a heavier weapon that could act like a First Order version of the E-Web cannon. The FO is seems like they're more about blitzkrieging their enemies rather then the more steady strategic calculations of the Imperials so this one is far more portable.

My god it is an E Wing, my mind is completely blown. I always thought it was TLG making stuff up and I brushed it aside. I have newfound respect for TLG pulling from the expanded universe now.

I think everyone was wondering how long this was going to take three days...three days. You built a rush job basically and it looks awesome! It is accurate to everything we see on the trailer, and it looks great next to all the other Imperial stuff. My only question, although it's something none of us know, is it a repulsor craft? Perhaps transparent 2X2 nubs often used on the bottom of TLG ships would help create that effect?

Cool stuff I like the repulser pads on the bottom. It's a tiny insignificant details but it adds so much to the MOC.

I'm reading over what has happened and i'm just imagining this postapooplytic scene of the forum being overwhelmed by the bots. I'm very sorry for everyone who lost a community, that's terrible.

Bury it all with me! Mwahaha! I kid. I would like my kids to have them and pass it down to their kids and so on. Maybe one day if they're ever exceptionally valuable then they should sell them off. Either way Lego were meant to be played with and I hope whoever has them after I pass would have as much fun with them as I have and continue to.

No they had a couple sets from their Yoda Chronicles series with mostly Lego designed Star Wars characters however one of them thank goodness introduced the amazing Ithorian minifigure.
