Is there anyway of knowing when they change the PaB wall? I heard from a store clerk every three months.

I'm of the mind you always have to take these things with a grain of salt, but then again the first Rogue One rumors we got was a CGI Tarkin. Most people laughed at the prospect and shrugged it off yet here we are with CGI Tarkin so i'm not going to say this rumor has no traction. I certainly understand why they might do this from a writing perspective and I actually don't mind if its done right. That's the key though, any idea can work depending on if its done right. Here's my take on it and why it might be a cool spin on Han Solo. Rogue One has satisfied me as a Star Wars nerd so while I really hope the Han Solo movie is amazing, i'm not going to be that upset if its lackluster. To be honest i'm not expecting much from it, of course I felt the same way about Rogue One and was blown away so who knows...

You Australians need to pull a Sidney Lego Tea Party, dump all the lego products into Botany Bay and declare independence from Great Britain demand lower prices As for people griping about the American priced battle packs going up, I think it has less to do with them being 15 dollars and more to do with a fear they will rise to what they are in other countries (twenty dollars ) plus when you're used to twelve or thirteen, fifteen seems like a massive increase despite it being only two dollars. For example if you buy seven battle packs, the additional cost of two dollars each is nearly another battle pack, so in essence it feels like you're being shortchanged.

It was as if a million fake rumor and nonsense posts cried and out and then were suddenly silenced.

This has to do with the venue. Its a convention, conventions are usually overpriced.

Oppo Rancisis has fabulous eyelashes

What I dont and will never understand is why we never got a battlepack of regular phase II clones (no printing) or all 501st troopers (phase II)?

The best way to take arms off is to firsy remove the hand piece then when you pull the arm off make sure yo're touching as much arm surface area as you can. Its not a sure fire method though. In my experience I dont usually get wonky arms. WOW where did you get those red arms?

I've had a long day at work so when I read this I thought you said you got 50 percent of the parts you needed for this AT-AT from the micro fighters and was like...What did I do wrong? I could've just got the micro fighters?!

Has anyone seen the HD images of the summer sets? Its where the web rhymes with leddit (if you go on this thread you should know the one im talking about). Dissapointed IG-88 is not employing the new pencil guy piece. However he still looks great and so do all the figures!
-
Really though? A birickbuilt figure? Is this accurate?
-
This was the approximation I did using the old Alfred head.
-
I hate being that guy because i'm unbelievably happy we have a Thrawn figure but I desperately hope we get the figures with a corrected rank plaque.
-
Excellent mods! I think the storage compartment seats look great but by putting a grill you can't actually sit a figure.

I read that as 30x Asajj Ventress and could only think why? Then I reread that and it all made far more sense

Not only that but Thrawn put Konstantine on the interdictor as an insult, probably because he simply couldn't get rid of him. Otherwise the Thrawn I know from the books would have most likely had him killed for failing and then making excuses rather then acknowledging his failure and resolving to not repeat the mistake again. "Konstantine is more politician then soldier" which I infer means where he's awful on the battlefield he's probably quite good at cajoling and shmoozing. He most likely is friends with someone or many people or they owe him favors that he can't as of that moment be fully eliminated or removed. So what did Thrawn do? Konstantine is a man who wants glory in battle and this battle was going to be just that, an undeniably glorious Imperial victory. What do you do with someone you can't get rid of? You punish them by putting them on a support ship, as Thrawn did in Iron Squadron because Konstantine is an ISD commander so that's a huge downgrade, thats also just in sight of the battle but not participating in it. To be fair to Thrawn the destruction of the second interdictor (when Thrawn was down on the planet) was BS both on the show and in real life watching it. Blasters and backpack missiles against not just a starship but a vital capital ship? Who could predict that because it shouldn't even be possible?

Definitely. American here, but even when I was shopping for parts Rebrickable offered options that ranged in the upper hundreds. I don't know about Canada but I imagine there must be cheaper options.

The kama looks nice but I really LOVE those legs on the Snowtroopers, somehow it feels a lot closer to the film then the AT-DP legs. I think its because these have the curve where the kneepad would be giving the illusion of greater accuracy. Either way they look fantastic!

Thats actually really funny. Im not sure which forum it was that I saw the article shared but it was about the origin of the name scarif. Apparently Gareth Edwards was trying to figure out how to get his name in the movie but couldnt in a non obvious way. During production he was at Starbucks and when he gave his name the cashier misheard his name and so when he got his coffee it said Scarif rather then Gareth. Someone else on the team liked it so they put Scarif in.

Honestly the person that screwed up the battle the most was Tarkin, and it wasnt with an unreasonable order either which I appreciate. Trying to capture the Rebel leadership and make an example out of them is entirely in his character. In the book Tarkin theres a part about Tarkin as a young man in a sector defense fleet and his first real achievement. Tarkin manages to be the only person to capture this elusive pirate gang that has brought trade through the sector to a standstill for years. To make an example of the pirates and to prevent further piracy in his sector he puts the captain and the crew on a ship flying right into a sun and broadcasts the audio of them and their screams to the sector or maybe galaxy. Yeah not a nice guy However I think if Thrawn had been left to fight without restraint, I imagine the rebels wouldve been entirely annihilated.

Thats how I watched it as well

Here's my season 4 hopes and predictions. 1) More Rogue One material. For the Empire I want to see the Imperials upgrade their AT-DP's to AT-ST's and the AT-AT's they currently use to the ESB models as well as AT-ACT's. I want to see the Empire employ Occupier Combat Assault Tanks and I hope the show's ISD's get a whiter paint job. For the Rebels I think we'll see X-Wings and U-Wings and most certainly Admiral Raddus. I hope we get to see Ackbar and Raddus on screen together and see them interact and maybe even clash in their tactics. If Raddus is Patton then make Ackbar General Montgomery and get some conflict between them. The more internal conflict within the rebellion like we see in Rogue One the better. 2) The Underworld. I hope next season gets down and dirty with the scum of the universe and I hope that the Empire along with new Inquisitors dispatches bounty hunters after remaining rebels. Give us old man Cad Bane and Boba Fett who has entered his prime as a total terminator like killing machine. 3) Admiral Sloane. She has proven a crucial part of the new canon and unless the story group has plans for her to appear in one of the spinoff movies I think she should pop up in rebels. If you don't know who she is and you're a Star Wars nerd who goes beyond the movies you need to look her up. 4) Lets keep far far far away from the Lothal sector. The Galaxy is absolutely MASSIVE. Lets explore other areas now.

I wonder. Did Bendu forsee Thrawn's fate, the Empire's fate, or the ultimate fate of fascism? I'm not so sure its Thrawn he was ultimately talking about although if Thrawn remains the villain next season its possible its meant to be him. First the positive. The rebels got wrecked. That fleet was roughly twenty ships and only four escaped in the end. I love finally seeing the Empire curbstomp the rebels. Konstantine screwing up the Imperial plan and Sato's sacrifice were awesome moments well set up by previous episodes. Thrawn as always is fantastic and I loved seeing Deathtroopers although is Kanan afraid of them? Visually this was a fantastic episode and oddly enough explosions on rebels always look really amazing, especially on rebel ships Ultimately a really great finale although marred by some iffy choices. Im not keen on how the second interdictor blew up, that was pretty dumb. A ship designed for combat with capital ships, with high ordanance should make any missile or lightsaber attack laughable. I love Kallus but he shouldnt have made it out of this episode. Also why did the creators ever have Thrawn walk so close to Kanan, one slice and game over.
