  1. My theory is Rey is not Luke's daughter but is in fact Han and Leia's. When you think about the way the characters act around her, it makes sense. First off Kylo's attitude towards Rey suddenly make more sense if they were brother and sister because the bond is closer. Cousin versus cousin from a story standpoint is also not as strong as a sibling rivalry. Secondly remember when Rey is sitting, eating lunch, and watching ships leave? It's because whoever left her on Jakku left in a ship like that. Han Solo is the one who dropped her off leaving the millennium falcon for her to later use when she's older, and then left in another vessel. That is the thematic importance of her watching the ship leave and then later her as a little kid watch a ship leave. Also why else would Han leave leave the millennium falcon on Jakku at the village she's in and later seem to immediately find it? It seems like coincidences right but they aren't. Having already lost Kylo to the dark side naturally Hand and Leia would immediately want to hide their force sensitive daughter from him, so why not on the most back water planet they could find. The guilt from having lost his son made Han watch over his daughter somewhat from a distance. Han Solo Obi Waned his daughter basically. The only real reason people think Rey is Luke's daughter is because of both the expanded universe and this want that at one point Luke had a happy ending (getting married and having kids) before Snoke Ruined it. Yes there is evidence for her being his daughter as well but knowing JJ Abrams style I feel like that would be a way to obvious twist. Her being Han and Leia's daughter is a much better twist.
  2. TFA C3PO looks like it has really nice printing and that would fit into any situation no matter the era.
  3. You know what would've been cool rather then yet another snow speeder and trenches, a midi scale Gallofree Transport. This set to me could've been the second half of the battle of Hoth where the rebels are retreating and the imperials are in full scale assault mode.
  4. Cantina battle pack anyone?
  5. You could get a bunch of imperial personnel and soldiers as well as rebels if you're trying to army build. Especially the ones that appeared in battle packs. Buying torsos and helmets seems to be cheaper then buying a whole mini figure depending on the figure. You will have to do the calculations though since it fluctuates. The problem we face as Americans is that many of the big sellers are in european or asian countries I think. Brink link is still definitely the way to go though.
  6. Soccor - I don't remember who gave it to me but it was because for many years I forgot how to write soccer correctly and once on a thread discussing soccer I kept misspelling it....it could be worse though but man seeing it misspelled bothers me now
  7. Is it really the 40th anniversary of a New Hope next year? Wow good lord that came up fast. Sure I'm only 21 so I didn't see any of the originals in theatres but still it doesn't seem that old. wow. The fact you have Admiral Piett, a stuffy imperial officer, as your avatar made this last statement really funny to me
  8. Which do you prefer more, original trilogy or prequels? That's important as some can cross over while others are distinct to their time period. For instance Admiral Yularen is an amazing polybag mini figure I am desperately trying to get That one is $13 now which isn't bad if you're like me and think thats reasonable, but it's along the line of prices you'll encounter if your'e looking for specific mini figures that only appeared in one set.
  9. The Tartan Dropship was commissioned early on in the new galactic order with the purpose of replacing the aging Republic LAAT with a more cost efficient model. The result was a small, heavily armored, no weapon transport capable of ferrying squads of Imperial troops quickly into battle. Although Imperial Officers eventually found them to be inefficient in conducting large scale planetary assaults once larger transports became available, the Tartan Dropship still retained its usefulness as a support vehicle. Most Imperial Bases and outposts in the outer and mid rim worlds, where large military vessels were either scarce or unneeded, would maintain a small fleet of these versatile vehicles to mostly ship supplies. 5 years prior to the Battle of Yavin the Tartan Dropship line had long since stopped being manufactured and while hundreds of thousands existed, most remained in permanent storage in Imperial holdings or stripped down as cargo vessels. After the destruction of the Second Death Star the Tartan Dropship immediately was recalled into service as scattered desperate Imperial forces attempted to consolidate their power against the rising and rallying New Republic threat. Dwindling Stormtrooper numbers would mean smaller squad numbers would be adopted suddenly making a small squad based transport a highly viable and preferable option. Would the Tartan Dropship help the Imperial forces emerge victorious from a now uncertain situation in this Galactic Civil War? Perhaps in the battles to come every available vehicle could stem another crushing loss to the Empire. With the Imperial fleet gathering over a backwater planet barely listed on star charts, and referred to by locals as Jakku, could even the Tartan Dropship help bring about a victory over the dissident New Republic? Only time will tell... Production Line: Tartan Dropship Manufacturer: Damorian Manufacturing Corporation Class: Dropship Crew: 1 Pilot Passengers: 6 (Standard) 8 (Maximum) Role: Troop & Cargo Transport Range: Planetary and ExoPlanetary Operations Imperial Stormtroopers deploy into combat operations with a forward Rebel Alliance outpost on a outer rim planet. This is an original design based off of the Tartan Patrol Cruiser from my favorite Star Wars game of all time Empire at War! Thank you so much for looking! Please if you want to see the pictures in larger size you can view them here on my Flickr Account
  10. That would be smart because if you buy the set online you automatically get her for free making buying the set then much more appealing.
  11. I'm not disappointed as I was not planning on buying the set anyways but I am disappointed its the outside of Echo base and not the actual base. That would've been really cool to have a modular base with numerous rooms that connect with tunnels. You could have still included a wampa cave and the main hanger, just no exterior trenches as we already have sets of those.
  12. The Internet sir! you win all of them!
  13. Well for a completionist that would be a dream come true. One way or another you'd have obtained every set at least once though all the times you went through the cycles. Here's the question though, to have completely bought a wave would you have had to do in a single cycle or would it count if spread out over numerous cycles of days?
  14. I'm coming out of a dark age so this is relatively new to me. I just looked it up and your Kestrel and lineup was excellent. That really sucks it didn't get picked as the mini figures alone would have been fantastic.
  15. Does posting a pic of a mini figure in a diorama on instagram count? Most of my friends saw it Anyone whose been over to where I live knows that I am into Lego. I don't think my ex girlfriend knew, not because I hid it fyi , although I found out later her brother was really into them.
  16. Yeah I would be okay without as many clones in sets to come. I love the Clone Wars and certainly I hope they won't completely cut out sets with Clones, but I feel it may be time to move on when it comes to lots of sets at once until the 15th anniversary of Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Sith. For example a clone battle pack with different variants would be cool to see. It's a small set with a lot of potential and since they release 4 a year now it would be easy enough to do.
  17. Great Roofing how on earth did you manage to make it that way?
  18. Wow! That is surprisingly spot on! I love FTL and I never thought of making lego versions of the ship. You should consider making more ships from the game, especially since I don't think there are many MOCs of the game out there on the web. You would have prominence.
  19. The triangular three pronged design reminds me a great deal of Deep Space K-7 from the original Star Trek but if it was modernized. It've very nicely built and seems pretty realistic to what an actual space station could be like.
  20. Wow that was a plot twist I didn't see coming
  21. These feel like they could be real robots. I think it's the way they stand and pose in an almost awkward way. That isn't a criticism if anything it's part of what makes this work! Cool Drones!
  22. Self promoting aside, which I have no authority to talk about, I do like the MOC a lot. I would love to see a space theme based around terraforming and spacey greenhouses.
  23. I spent a minute thinking those plants were the alien What a strange and interesting use of parts that make up that alien! Cool job man!
  24. Good show old chap. I like the integrated window in the back a lot. All around interesting MOC with a great execution! Not enough steampunk animals if you ask me
  25. I'm in love! Those blue plants are really something else! Very clever job with all the plants and parts usage!
