    Imperial Personel battle pack would be amazing!! Minifigures could include: Imperial Navy troper, imperial officer, tie fighter pilot, and a standard stormtrooper . Do they not realize how fast that would sell? Besides we need a set that would allow us to army build the Empire with all the updated prints and molds. Plus that is the very essence of a battlepack, one that entices you to make the emperor's arrival scene if you buy a hundred of them

    Thank you so much I might have to try that piece. Yeah the nose ended up being totally based off the Lambada which is one of my favorite ships in terms of uniqueness. The engines total need to be beefed up, they definitely are very Trek There's a lot of changes and improvements to be made so I will have to work on that and post the improved version. Funnily enough I was originally going to try and make that ship but veered away.

    I met with my mom on a break from school yesterday and showed her the pictures from this set. Her immediate response was didn't I already own that set. Her second response was asking if they just threw together old sets? When she guessed the price she said maybe $150 dollars and when I told her $250 she shook her head and just said that's BS. When a person's mom who doesn't care about Lego that much thinks that, that's an issue

    Why not download the instructions from LEGO.com once they become available and then mod it?

    In rebels a proto AT-AT was dropped onto a desert planet and in battlefront they're present on every terrain type. Plus EU they're frequently seen everywhere. I think i've even seen fights with Walkers on space stations and star destroyers so they are basically anywhere there is enough space for one to move.

    As far I know it was a hoax. I think it's been taken off of most major lists so it's fair to say it's not happening. Plus with The Force Awakens, Rebels, and Rogue One which are all generating a lot of OT buzz, a pod racer set would make absolutely no marketing sense at this point in time. Maybe we'll see a revival of TPM sets during the 20th anniversary but besides that expect very PT sets for the next two years.

    Yeah it's hard to tell because the playability aspect seemed to be one pushed by the company as a whole and not the designers. Honestly i'm sure the designers are just happy to build whatever the agree upon plan is. The set could've benefited from the Power Miners sensibilities. Playability along with for the most part functional succinct builds. Yeah they had their cheesiness too but there were a lot of moments of equilibrium between play features and design.

    Dont forget we also got an Ithorian and a couple canon droids with new molds because of the Yoda Chronicles. Needless perhaps, but that might give us a lot of canon stuff as well. Fingers crossed

    Awesome builds! You clearly know these ships well. The way you managed to boild their simple forms down into Lego without losing depth or detail is fantastic!! I love KOTOR so seeing an extraordinarily made MOC of something from it is always a treat! Are you planning on making a sith Star Destroyer (I know thats not the name but the equivalent of one :D) to accompany it or are you moving on to other things?

    Haha the title while accurate makes me think that Luke in his old age has wandered off somewhere and forgotten who he is :D Great miniature version of the secene! Maybe because its the most distinct part of the scene but great job on the mini falcoln! I love the little ruins as well although I think they could benefit from being a little more 3 dimensional.

    Darn well i'll just wait for the next cycle to include one. The fact they make so many versions gives me hope but knowing my luck it wont be for another five years. :D maybe the next one will be a UCS At At. Now that I would buy in a heartbeat.

    Only sets i'm remotely interested in this year so far are the battle packs and the wonderful advent calendar. Does anyone know if the AT AT is still on sale on lego.com, its currently sold out, or if that run is over. I would rather buy that then the Hoth Assault UCS.

    Not UCS but I like the set now! Not worth $250 dollars at all but the minifigures are great! Loving the look of the new rebel trooper print

    Its not a great example of UCS sets of the past but even if it is a ucs set, it doesnt mean its somehow corrupted all ucs sets lol. Lets not get melodramatic.

    The more I look at the less I dislike it a d the more I like it. Hahah oh no are we going through the 7 stages? First stage denial then acceptance?

    Right, it's so exciting we finally get to look forward to new Star Wars material no one knows anything about! If Kenobi is the grandfather who is the grandmother...and where are the kids? Did he have some babies in the desert?

    Haha rats I knew someone would notice the lack of a functioning cockpit :D No that is certainly something I need to work on. The boxy shape is slightly on purpose but it may seem weird as looking back at it I was channeling the athsetic of the original Star Trek then Star Wars. Thank you for the suggestions and its something I will work on to improve : )

    There were 40 seconds and you know it :P Haha alright you got me Pie. Still there was fighting inside so theres some precedent for the set to be totally interior.

    They invaded echo base though. Half of the battle of Hoth is Snowtroopers rushing through the corridors including a deleted scene where a bunch get eaten by a wampa. Not only that but in the new Battlefront game a good portion of the Hoth map is in fact Echo Base

    In regards to Bricklink. Ive used it a couple of times but not as much as ebay. Are the services comparable? I have yet to have a bad experience but to the more frequent buyers has anyone had a scummy experience or is it pretty much trustworthy?

    Well if you really love Hoth this is probably a fantastic set despite the price point. Another tauntaun as well as plenty of troopers and setpieces. Its not a terrible set, its just nota proper UCS and thus is really an overpriced super set.

    I'm happy actually because now that they have UCS Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back sets, the likelihood of new one from A New Hope (Mos Eisley *fingrs crossed*) or one from TFA have shot up exponentially. Now those could be exciting!

    Maybe...just maybe it'll look better in person when pictures from the toy fair start popping up. $250 is steep but perhaps there will be some good exclusive mini figure prints that will make this set suddenly more desirable.
