  1. Quick question. Does anyone know when the rest of the Janurary 2016 star wars sets will release in North America? I have my eyes on the rebel and imperial battlepacks but ive been unable to find when they'll release in the US. I think I read on a brickset review that there was an error in shipping and they would be delayed but 8 waw unsure if that was true.
  2. Gravely dislike Rebels not as a concept or t's style but just in the execution of the show. However the Ghost is actually one of my favorite parts of the show and you captured the true essence of the ship, a very good MOC!
  3. I Forresto join the struggling armies of the Rebel Alliance against the tyrannical oppression of the Empire as a rebel trooper!
  4. Counterfeit off brands are doing transparent, Lego must not be that far behind. Maybe we'll see force ghosts in the next 5 years or so?
  5. Well any qualm I had dissipated with that LDD picture of the MOC's profile. I think it was maybe the angles from the original post that made the head appear squished a little more then it was. I would say it's basically a perfect MOC at this point knowing the head rests higher then it appeared. Very nice job and research as well! Now If only TLC could emulate yours the next time they make an AT-ST because I doubt theres anyway to make one better then yours.
  6. Haha I didn't think about Ponda in that way but now that you mention it, the fact they haven't made him is a bit incredulous considering I don't normally go for UCS but if they did one with the Cantina, I would buy that in a heartbeat. They should do it especially since the cantina scene is one of the most popular scenes in Star Wars. It may also be considered one of the most famous in movie history.
  7. I'm just glad it's going to be on PS3...yes I haven't forked over the four hundred for a next gen console. I'd rather spend that much money on Legos to be honest
  8. A set with lots of aliens like any of the ones involving Jabba is all I would love to see. We haven't gotten a proper movie Talz yet. We haven't any mini figures that were an Aqualish, Kubaz, Bothan, or gand. It would also be nice to see more sets with Trandoshans, Ithorians, and Bith, I know molds can be expensive but some of them could just be a face print like they did with the Duros in the new rebel alliance battle pack. A simple recoloring would suffice if they wanted to change it. Even if it's just aliens they've already done i'd like to see them appear in more sets. More weequays, more ithorians. Aliens are the lifeblood of creating Star War's atmosphere and the most interesting ones only appear in lego very rarely.
  9. This is an amazing MOC! AT-ST's are so finicky to get right in lego and you did an impeccable job. I would say my only issue with it is the way the head seems to connect to the hull and legs. The head feels like it's squished into the main hull and not prominent enough. Again the head, hull, and legs are all amazing it's just the connection between said parts that bothers me a little. Besides that perfection on mechanical legs! BTW you've done a much better AT-ST then I ever could hope too so I hope I don't sound too critical!
  10. As someone who lives in DC I am super excited about the US Capitol set, but as others have said it will probably be rather expensive. I just need a Washington monument to complete the mall here. I would make it but i'm not sure how because as an obelisk it starts with a wide base ands tapers to the point at the top. Imagine the MOC possibilities with the Capitol Building for backgrounds for B Movie Alien invasions. So epic.
  11. As everyone else has said stunning level of detail. Myself I would be concerned of running out of pieces after that point lol. I can't imagine how much a pain it's going to be to build some sort of super structure in order to keep it stable.
  12. New Battlefront but this MOC is pretty sweet. I love the in laid bunker, that is some impressive technique. I'm curious as to where you got those solid dark tan endor helmets?
  13. Question, how much do the advent calendars normally go for? I feel like the one time I bought one it was 40 US dollars but I can't recall exactly. Also I know it's too early but does anyone think they're going to release Rogue One sets later this winter? I feel like the movie doesn't have the same hype built around it as Force Awakens, so i'm curious as to how they're going to merchandise it.
  14. Woah I honestly thought you had photoshopped a millennium falcon onto a cgi star destroyer until I realized that was brick built. Well done, the Destroyer is hardly recognizable as lego.
  15. I can't say i'm thrilled by the summer lineup. That being said i'm not too upset because now I can focus on buying a bunch of the rebel and imperial battle packs whenever they manage to get sold in the US. The Jakku set sounds the most interesting out of all the upcoming proper sets.
  16. I cannot say how much I absolutely love this! It makes me want to find a Yularen mini figure on brick link or ebay.
  17. Will there be any set that has a lot of those orcs? The ears and the prints are a thing of beauty!
  18. Currently my people are in shambles. A young war chieften has risen up against our king, threatening to tear our country apart. This civil war is undoubtedly Mitgardian in origin, but currently no proof has been found that proves their involvement. For the momement, Tra'pek cannot help the Nocturnian guild, buthopefully we will able to as we...."maintain" our rebellious brethren.
  19. That is a really nice looking ship you have there. It is good we now have mighty warships to counter any enemy navy.
  20. So I don't know if anyone reads the clone wars comics, but the episode last night and the rest of this trilogy are based on the first comics. The characters and setting are different but the Zygerrians and Zirosians being enslaved are the same. The overall concept's the same but the story is very different in many aspects. Wookiepedia This was a great episode, I especially loved the squid creature, a Blixus I think it's called.
  21. My engineers have created an intimidating cataoulta for the vast armies of Nocturnia! Eurobricks
  22. Thank you I try I'm glad you noticed, those took ages to build. If anything the legs are the hardest part about designing a spider because there are so many of them. Thank you, and yes bigger is better, unless you need something really to do something then.... I think this whole guild thing is perfect for the forums though. I normally don't build castle MOCs but this guild contest is getting me to. Thank you so much. Yes it does fire, just not very far at this moment. With some minor modifications it could actually fire pretty far for a lego catapult! In the words of those brave orcs who lost their lives at the battle of pellenor fields, "Grond! Grond! Grond!"
  23. la Catapulta De Muerte (The catapult of death) This Trap'ekien catapulta is a massive, orc designed weapon, that flings doom where ever it's ordered to (usually Mitgardia ). It's six wheels are designed to move on all terrain and are even at home moving through hilly terrain. It has the capacity for a crew of six and an archer for defense. It can launch a projectile of up to 120 kilograms more then 300 meteres (forgive me i'm american so i'm not used to the metric system ). The main catapulta is supported by a thick iron frame, with a massive boulder to counterwait the catapulta on one end. Due to both the heavy wheels, counterwait, and frame this paticular type of catapulta is heavier then the average projectile siege weapon. Because of it's excessive wieght, it can not be pulled by any normal beast of burden like a kreole or oliphant therefore the largest creature to inhabit Trap'ek (in the East of Historia) was needed. The Kai'reen (Kai'reem as it's spelled by the desert nomads). The Kai'reen is a large arthopod native to the northern deserts of Trap'ek. They survive in large herds of fifteen to twenty individuals roaming the desert, searching for oaises and pockets of water. They can survive long periods of time without water because they can store lots of liquid in the pockets on the top of their bulbous heads. They're size and the harsh conditions of their environment (where only the toughest can survive) provides the best animal to pull the catapultas of Trap'ek. For more pictures:Brickshelf Due to the sheer heaviness of the catapult, it can become a vunerable target on the battlefield. In order to prevent valuabe and expensive weapons from being destroyed, a special division has been devised. Riding ontop the backs of the swift and vicious Arachnis Areanuses, the spider jockys! Thank you very much for viewing the latest of Mitgardia's latest death noticea er, Nocturnia's siege weapons . Glory for Nocturnia! Links to pictures when public: Brickshelf
  24. My Siege workshops are at full capacity and are only awaiting the hunters to bring us beasts, strong enough to pull our weapons of war! I also would like to say that due to our two guilds similarities, an alliance between Kalphin and Nocturnus would be most....profitable.
  25. [General Tarzec]: Haaa-haa-ha! If that is your mightiest tower then you might as well pull down your flag and raise the colours of Nocturnia! (In all seriousness though, this is excellent. I really like the design and it's very well built. My only suggestion is you should maybe add some more defense of the entryway. It seems like a large army or enemy force could easily take down that door. Regardless, you have done a great job on building this!)
