1x1 rounds (plate, brick, cone) fit snug in it though! (in other words, the outer diameter of the "stud and tube" tube ) Edit: Oh yeah, more good part geometry: this piece has a minifig grip at the base right next to the technic hole

Building in the bag much?

nope. because it don't.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 poll
SpiderSpaceman replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Oh lordy, glad I picked the bandit. too cool: unbagged -
Hard plastic right? Hard plastic? Please hard plastic? ^ ok annoying but dangit people, ask the relevant questions
-
Haha you're not lying, but yeah BCG ^ has a point - And I never know how much space I'll need for a particular category. And it's always spiking into overflow in one category or another when I feed my damn addiction anew.

So was I understanding right that online pick a brick is gonna stick around/get updated? Because I'd love to get the handcuff chain links in bulk. jawblade's lower jaw is also a piece I'd like a couple more of, so I guess I'm just wondering on the likelihood of so on and so forth. Edit: can't forget the ammo belt

Yeah don't care for Breez or Furno myself. I'm not a thornraxx lover either but definitely getting one for the central connectors, the colors and the wings (missed out the first time around) Who came up with that crazy space age lenticular riot shield on Breez and Rocka? I am so impressed with it; never could have suspected the optical effect before I opened my set.

LDD Without DbM
SpiderSpaceman replied to Aanchir's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Nevermind though, rid myself of that pestilence. was thrilled when that was added because that meant I didn't have to hang on to enormous cut and paste idea .LXFs, but honestly it's a nuisance either way -
LDD Without DbM
SpiderSpaceman replied to Aanchir's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Oh you know, like these. My little shortcut modules on the side screen - only accessed within the particular theme (dbm, universe, mindstorms, extended) they were saved in. Can I access them if the themes are wiped away, or do I need to back them up and save them as proper .LXFs? -
Thanks a ton for the review, LuxorV! think you left the wings a bit lower than in the instructions though.

[LDD MOC] Quad Miner
SpiderSpaceman replied to The Mugbearer's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Fantastic! Love everything.. shaping, coloration, part choices. I don't think I had any rock raiders sets. Siblings did, but someone had just then opened my eyes to the phenomenon of 'juniorization' and I couldn't appreciate the chunky chassis, cage, monster, etc. I generally like the simpler, most versatile geometric parts. But anyway, I think I like rock raiders and once again good job! LDD MOCs never get enough recognition. -
LDD Without DbM

Question: what happens to all my templates in the themes to be removed? -
I have to say what I would really like to see to finish of the POTC line would be Midi-scale ships with a captain and two crewmen. Affordable fleets, small enough to display in fleets, and small enough to do a variety on shelves at a time. Captain and crewmen of all ranks and cultures.

So, being a 1x1 printed tile, there's gotta be an extra twoface coin in the batmobile set, eh? Gotta update my classic twoface. -
How did I miss the explanation for those joint extensions? Apparently they're high-friction to support all the body bulk. Proomising! oh yeah and shipping from toys r us in USA now. heroes, no joker

I'm really hoping and suspecting the latter, but I don't think anybody knows yet unless someone picked up a leaked one -

Arguably important: the leprechaun's pot of gold (re?)confirmed in that flier Well I know I'm definitely gonna use Liberty in some bonkers fictional settings I'm gonna get a couple to swap out heads with scraggly guys and give em signs saying "we buy gold" or "$5 car wash" or "grand opening; free pencils" And I'm gonna sort out liberty, spaceman, gorilla suit, caveman, and cave girl for a li'l Planet of the Apes subtheme -
Oh marvelous! leprechaun has a pot of gold after all. Is the lightning ring exclusive to the exclusive kendo jay? that'll be a pain to get

Ah there ya go. You're right of course. Gave up after my first hypothesis, that's pretty bad And I agree, they're nothing special, no creme de la creme, but I feel like that about some of the wide release sets too. Namely, kai's bike and the rattlecopter. Wake me when the Fangpyre Truck comes out. started piecing that one together on LDD (all the flair and no guts ); some stellar technique and shaping on her. With a few great exceptions, the store exclusives too often scream 'afterthought' and 'recycled, stripped down, mainstream set medley', but like you said, alternate minifig source and full of good parts (nuckals atv). My qualm with that skink walker is that plus diluted echoes of the capital U-g-l-y that is the Mine Mech, awkwardly intersected by a stubby viper. I love big tacky monster shaped vehicles (skull truck), conceptually a snake walker is appealing, but the realization falls short.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

Sounds like a disaster, but still.. fine with me as long as they give him a proper dome instead of the goofy insectoids helmet Oh yeah! Forgot to say all this time. Wish they would make beefy muscle variation arms for some of the figs. Kinda missed the opportunity and it'd make Bane obsolete if they went back and did it now... but what reminded me was wondering if they'll bring back rock monster arms for (the hypothetical) the thing, or for that matter long arms for (the hypothetical) mr fantastic. I don't guess any of the big custom part producers mess with (anatomical) arms -
Mwahahahahaha Bring it. I am curious as all get out

So that scythe... has to be a new piece, huh? I was thinking it would be cobbled together spinner add-onn blade stuck to a nunchuck stuck to a stick, but I don't see the right connection points It was always a five. Just because it's meant to evoke makeshift evil duds made from his soccer uniform or something. But I never thought of it as a 5th green ninja foreshadowing. That would be really clever. I don't bother with the story but from set descriptions it seems like he's just supposed to be a wannabe bad brat klutz type, and I wouldn't expect him to go down the road to hero. Maybe regret his troublemaking at the most. and Lego's always had this teeny repertoire of recycled action features case in point: their insane catapult fetish

No change for me, I still say I'll get these blokes: didn't realize till just now, that's Bruce and Bruce Still hoping to see a fixed up finalized hulk really soon though. No reason to not have fingers, green muscles, and purple pants

So, running with the hillbilly crooks theme, I'm thinking someone needs to decal one of the new tiny round tiles like this
