Probably discovered it's greatness through lots of spares from a TRU parts bucket Honestly, that's good enough to be official. and there's plenty room to build off the back. Confirmed by one of designers: not Chinese. However, some specialty pieces can only be made in the Chinese factory, but that's no different from any set. The headpiece i think, is Chinese because of the painting. Nothing else. I've got the freebie kendo jay pack on the way from shop at home! Says the "crown" IS exclusive, which I'd been curious about.

the breez/batman/black phantom sword did a number on me when I threw batman's arm in a lunchbag. bent back into shape with no problem though

So, it just dawned on me that "the zombies" cannot use the CM zombie - he's in a contemporary business suit. whatever these zombies look like, they're gonna have to be in Victorian(ish) garb...

Don't think so... There's no place on surges bolt where it squeezes into one stalk. I'd be cool with that, because that would at least get me the surge weapon in the improved metallic, but I don't think that's actually the case. Hoping this bolt is freestanding - that is, no emitter attached. and voltix in the animated clip. and the Cap'n America ultrabuild.

The electricity zaps jutting off of voltix's back are different from surge's, aren't they?

Sweet new crossbow in the mummy set. has a clip like the dino tranq gun, aquazone harpoon on top. werewolf set, of course, does have the tranq gun with a fez up front and a spyglass clipped on. what is dracula's driver?

I like the sai ammo belts. and I think I'll pass on the SamuraiX spinner in favor of the mech.

Creature (from the black lagoon) set got no naked lady? bum-mer. No I love that the one I really want is the set I can afford to cheat on my budget with. I also like the revamped ghost shrouds, and bat wing arms. oh boy! yeah ok I'm getting multiples.

I love this one, but I'm budgeting to get all superheroes sets and all lotr sets and my collectible minifigures - and I've already bought half the HF and half the ninjago and a good haul of city - this is 2012 sets I've bought before 2012 so... cutting a run on sentence short, I gotta get fiscally somewhat more responsible here and I think this one might not fit in. Love the mask(s), love dark red, and love the staff (a lot. but I don't like the unfixedness and total dependence on friction pins). good stuff.

ACCESSORIES SPECULATIONS There must be new dedicated molds for Anduril and Sting, yeah? at least sting - seeing as the 'dagger of time' and blackbeard's cutlass got their own molds. several new unique beards? hat-hair specific combo molds like jack sparrow's (hopefully not too many, but I'm suspecting gandalf goes this route) couple of wizard staffs Robe arms with oh so loose wizardness? A Ninjago skeleton mold is the perfect base for a Gollum torso. Just fill in the gaps in the ribcage and a tiny bit of waist and that's him exactly. complete with loincloth. they really need to figure out a workaround for the no transparent minifigures
