  1. Yes, Dark Claw would be cool to see. Not a chance in the world though
  2. Hey hey! I see my favorite obscure part - the base for the Knights Kingdom II paper shields!
  3. I for one was very interested. Thanks Mister Genius!
  4. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ersterpoboy/herofact/dscf1417.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ersterpoboy/herofact/dscf1409.jpg Decided to try my hand at this 'bout half a week after the news
  5. If memory serves: Dark red hood exists! see general grievous' guts. EDIT: my bad, it's brown.
  6. Gonna be entering my contribution when I scramble home for my lunch break - hope the beginnings of a nursery/botanical studies complex will be acceptable to y'all. didn't have time to revise as much as I like to
  7. jeez, yeah. the bounding boxes do that crazy floor lowering thing even when you put axes in minifig hands, turn wheels, etc. and that first one reminded me of another thing I want: A tool that guides a ball to a socket/ improvements to hinge align EDIT: Oh man! I forgot the thing I want more than anything: Online cooperative building! please?
  8. Haha, I know. I was just being a grump about the uglying up of the program. and don't forget we got all the flex parts last time. keep throwing them big bones and just be pleasantly surprised when they catch 'em
  9. Ha, you beat me to it yes indeed. I feel like it's important to have a set template for these overly unique character heads - maybe not something as bland as the large knights kingdom heads, but something where some core parts can be swapped and customized - i'd even be cool with the faces molded if they followed basic time honored lego design styles for the facial features and came separate from the hair or headgear. And come to think of it, there could have even been a bar-based, Potato-Head style head building system, providing new system-friendly parts (they could have done a cool geometric eye mask with open stud apertures, for example) After a number of them would be released, you could really start mocking up some other characters as combos with mix and match. but they're all multicolor, 1pc, character specific, and styled from forgettable to nightmarishly shameful But toss the heads and mien gott, I want them all.
  10. I'm just gonna repeat myself: set specific trans bricks in a model to emit light include lighting (time of day; climates) presets in view mode replace the godawful raster panorama backdrops with some that are more sophisticated or at least not so jarringly attention stealing and fuzzy vectorized screenshots animation/programmable hinge timeline - mappable to key commands? 1st person view mini figure navigation (or a more general 'put me in a brick' for cameras and setting multiple fast access views) - great for interior exploration, only possible digitally, adding new dimensions of appreciation and a helpful flaw hunting tool. (and bonus, lego creator's vehicle piloting) well, back to my rcb duties
  11. Well... That makes me a sad panda. I was hoping for something that either had lots of cool professional women mini figures, or lots and lots of multi use parts in rare colors Unfashionable frilly purses and yet another species of 1 part doll girls kinda dashes that On the other hand there's still lots of hope for parts and colors goldmines - The ladies are near miniscale enough to be, one hopes, characters in respectable system sets.
  12. The Toys R Us on Veterans has shelf tags up for minifigs series 5 - I'm gonna keep checking back through the week

  13. Thanks for that, I was thinking I was gonna have to say it. Roll 'em around in Oil Dri (or just fresh 'kitty litter'), then just dust 'em off. welllll come to think of it that's probably more an idea for excess oil on top of the residual oiliness.
  14. oh lordy, worms in skulls. just got the monster truck to cap off my skelevehicle collection - ok I'm a liar and I still need the copter from Lightning Dragon But back to the point: terrific set, continuing the hilarious grim parade of death embracing biker trucker types (space police 3 to ninjago - I swear, they've gone my kind of crazy.) They still managed to shock me with Wyplash Poor man has worms in his noggin. While I'm here, remember how rumors originally went all out with the multicolor ninjas? I think I have as many black red white and blue ninjas as I'd ever dream of needing (could still use dragon cole and jay - happily I want their respective dragons too) Anyone think we could get a color refresh next year? including that color you've always dreamed of having a ninja in? commence the wistful thinking
  15. at first I read that as "I will hand these out to trick-or-treaters" - nobody's that rich or altruistic but yeah, I just assumed it's a representation of the actual statue, without any costumed middle(wo)man spacegirl and skateboarder are exactly my little sisters - they'll love 'em. butcher is bringing back the "garrison cap", huh? That elusive part outta LU/LDD - something like a piece only in an ancient park exclusive keychain? exactly the use I wanted it for too - A lovely donut selling hat. and I wonder how it'd look on the s1 nurse
  16. that last point is the right-under-the-nose knockdown to "can't sell 'em" I'd been figuring they won't individually sell em, because they can't do blind packs and include big ol' Hulk, and I don't think they'd do little matchboxes for each individual fig - but the battle pack/collection theory sounds about right to me
  17. if it's not, I'm gonna have to get real drunk (figuratively ... maybe I should say drown my sorrows in a lego buying/building binge ). I've been hoping for that fig and like you said, it's pulled off perfectly. does a 1x2 tile look like that from that angle?
  18. Don't jinx it, ya fraggin bastich (it'd make a really cool vehicle set if you throw in his bike - and that'd just be a little bigger than #8892 Cendox V1) but more they won't make that I'd want (and thusly will MOC, hooray Lego): Omega Red Blade ... I'll be back to edit this
  19. yes (i think) on the hands, no on the arms - trolls had shackles.
  20. Agreed. oh yeah, and I was coming here to say: Wouldn't it be sweet if they really used those little 2x3 clear plates as stands? as in just threw in one per minifig in every set? perfect to balance a fig and not be too noticeable, and of course it's also a good part for building with
  21. I disagree heartily on the heads as per Aanchir's explanation. Wide compatibility is a top priority for me, and I wish even the special heads would have studs on top (Jar Jar in a fedora). and I don't think the cowl is out of place among any of the other headgear. it's fun and accentuate-y. I feel like, no pun intended, they nailed it on the head. But I agree completely on The Hulk! He can't charge at wolverine, bench a streetlamp, or do a "where'd he go, where'd he go?" and especially seeing as they're promoting super hero brickfilming... oh and back to heads, I wonder if we'll get comic book Norman Osborne hair and a comic book Green Goblin.
  22. uh huh, Thank you! you're the first person I've seen wanting Lobo in 11 pages (I put in my word for the main man on p.9) : I'd be into some of the Bizarro clan as well. and Black Manta for sure.
  23. yeah I came to that realization this morning. I approve the set in that case Muscles!
  24. my thoughts exactly I can stop kicking myself for not buying things way back when. I hope Freeze gets a decent helmet this time - we've got the perfect piece, just need some neckwear to receive it
