I like the xt4 and the clearest pictures of any hero factory sets so far are the leaks. the video was a definite step backwards in being able to see a single thing. xt4's head has flopped sideways, and he's tied into a pretzel for pete's sake. we all know just what he looks like and now you're all "he looks like a smelly old pretzel" - well no. he looks like a fuzzy great bunch of pixels at low resolution, motion blurred, and worthless for speculating over.

But in seriousness, I wish Lego designers would take more care to make nonstandard figs more poseable. After all, they officially conceded minifigs are for stop motion animation (Studios). What they've done for the horses is going in the right direction. And honestly, I like gollum much more than I thought I would. Complaint to the other discussionists: How was anyone expecting the eyes to not be big and wide? Gollum's gleaming eyes are key to the character. I mean in the hobbit, bilbo's down in the cave with gollum, and he basically just sees "green lanterns" staring him down. Orcs are now officially adorable.

Well I'm just saying: never seen a swamp monster with webbed feet sticking out of its head, and I've been a fan of that look since childhood, due to lego's dragon mold and the frilled lizard guy from jurassic park. The big slitted eyes aren't looking familiar to me on a swamp monster either The "black lagoon" creature is all gills. All non-Black Lagoon swamp monsters I know are made of vegetation or big furry loup garous. Edit: actually I lied about the slitted eyes: want your living daylights scared out? this is the Audubon Zoo's idea of a swamp monster

So the hulk chest looks like a dual ball snap connection to shoulders of the wider torso. and maybe an unused connection at the back middle bottom of the piece.

Brickshelf isn't working so I'll just describe it. Take a transparent part that can be printed on. like a trans neon green mini figure head. apply the print with the green goop dripping all down it, which has actually been printed on that color. It won't look like opaque print on a transparent piece of plastic. the transparency is applied to the print as well as the part. Prints on transparent surfaces should be opaque. Something else: Can we ask for a bit of slack in hero factory parts collision detection? Taking the current example of set 6200, a little bit of play and overlap is crucial - It's impossible to build that cannon arm, at least if you want to be able to rotate it out of one fixed position that you took forever to wiggle into.
