LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
SpiderSpaceman replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
Australian, you know. North Americans aren't the only ones calling their money 'dollars' It's not any sort of 'superduper collectables ripyouoff edition', just a preorder free bonus, so I don't think they can put much of a premium on it, besides whatever standard price hike those nasty places may usually get down to. edit: oh god, please don't anyone misread that. "nasty places" means game stores, not "Australia" I have mad respect for Australia. -

Hey hey, you're quite a natural landscaper. Props -
Hot damn. That's smacktastic. I'm afraid I don't have any more helpful constructive criticism. Tasty model. too much fun.

Lets see... I've had a lot of half priced clearance huge values, which won't count, but dang if i'm not in love with the atlantis ruins or the alien conquest emperor or embo and aurra sing. I found a few damaged box deals. Slave One (current incarnation), $35. Catcycle city, $6. A (erroneous) shelf price honoring deal: Cool Cruiser, $22. Oh and one obscenely low clearance value: Clone Turbo Tank (current): $35.

I hadn't seen the organ yet! oh that's fantastic. I love that the vampire's mystic crystal thing is Bacardi branded And I wonder if more olden b movie ideas are gonna get short themes. cursed egypt dig, saucers and tripods, monster movies... I don't know what follows from that... And actually I'd really be into a second wave for this, but besides the phantom of the opera and the blob, I'm not sure what new boogeymen they could bring in. well, a headless horseman. I'd really take something like the sorta send-off addendums that SPIII and Vikings got; super small wave to round out the collection.

Screw Toys r us. Buncha price-hiking criminals. and on top of that, they're not even strictly available. "sold in stores" - likely story. That said, if you find 'em, I wouldn't mind reading a review

It's in the mines of moria doors so you can bar them. It's also holding up the lights on top of the "cosmic cube escape" vehicle. -

My Superheroes+Minifigures+LOTR spillover budget is getting smaller and smaller. I'm sorry, Jabba! -
Monster Fighters 2012
SpiderSpaceman replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It's a blessing and a curse There's a thrill of discovering sets for the first time right on a shelf, but, for instance, I'd have missed out on minifigures series 1 if I hadn't watched online like a hawk. And that's not a risk I'm a fan of. All the same I think I'll try to abstain/hibernate from spoilers of winter 2013 and just tell a friend "lemme know if there are any things I'm going to need to act fast for" Could do a turn taking or something I guess.. man, this is getting unrealistic -

I was about to rejoice at the same thing glad to see them in a non plated finish, too. never like to see the finish chip away. -
Just got mine, and realized that C3PO, appropriately for this point in the film, is wearing his 'restraining bolt'. Wonder when they will release a no bolt variant...

Don't think any of our sites previously linked to had close enough pics of the NRGs Still kinda not the best possible shots, the metallic on the print isn't at a gleamy angle
