  1. Right I need to sort some pics out lol. I have not moved in to the garage yet as my main build room so I have 1 double room in the house for the robots, the conservatory for building the LEGO Cart (WIP) and the garage has the overflow plus the Wheelchair and new parts that I have not sorted.
  2. Interesting question, for me 90's gave us some very good models (8880 etc). Before the 4x4 9398 and the new helicopter I would of stayed with the 90's however these 2 models seem to be nice and fresh!. The motors have never been so good to, we have 2 types of LA's. The Excavator is pretty cool to. I just don't get that excited about the smaller models. I could of never made a LEGO Wheelchair out of stuff from the 90's, the motors where not good enough.
  3. I think thats brilliant! Honestly I do, love it! I want to make one now!
  4. Its funny you say that!, So took the whole thing apart last night and bare in mind I was testing and abusing it, I did not damage as much as I thought. So I had used 4 32l axles to hold the wheels, these had become very screwed up due to some wheels getting jammed and some not. I have now gone for 8 16L axels so this does not happen. Out of the 32 8 tooth gears, 1 had broken off and 1 had been damaged (same wheel). These got replaced and an extra set where added to each wheel (so 48 in total)
  5. Dont tell anyone but I am actually more like 85-87 KG depending on how well I stick to my diet lol. I think you should give it a go mate. I would of brought them off bricklink if there was any on there! A friend helped me out with them. I would of also used more than 16XL motors but I cant afford the rechargeable packs, I am already using 8 without steering. p.s, brought your book!
  6. I think if you have the LEGO, why not give it a go, bit of a buzz moving around in your own creation!
  7. The Rotacaster wheels rock, I use them for most the things I build now :)
  8. So here is a small video of the Dexter Ind WIFI Sensor in action. The NXT is programmed in Lejos and runs a simple web-server and then I wrote a simple iOS app to send parameterised URLS to the NXT. Has a bit of lag but still very useful I plan to do a lot more with this sensor!
  9. So spent a couple of nights on this and was amazed it worked. I thought I would show a video for a laugh. Its far from finished and about to have a full rebuild. I mainly built this to use up my Yellow Studded lol and to be faster than the wheelchair! Uses EXOFORCE wheels and 16 XL motors
  10. Finally here it is, well an blog post about it Code is posted, I will do a video soon to http://www.burf.org.uk/2012/11/24/lego-dacta-interface-a-vb6-control/

  12. Boy you guys answered this well! I cant think of anything to add!
  13. Arr ok mate, well I see what comes up. The book has not arrived from Amazon yet, I cant wait to check it out mate.
  14. I am going to do this lol. Drop me a PM, and I will give you my email address and I will send you the code via email and then put it on the net
  15. Just a random thing, I brought the book from Amazon.co.uk, however now I would like the PDF? is there a way we can get that if we can prove we brought the book?
  16. So if you geared down the RC motor is it stronger than a XL / NXT at the same RPM?
