I seen that too, took one apart and still never could work out why its locked up, its only the geared down ones too ( i have 4 different types of 9v motors)

Where is the cheapested place to get the pf stuff form as it seemed expensive on bricklink? I personaly have about 20 - 30 v9 motors lol

Has anyone got a video of pneumatics and there force?

I like programmerable stuff as I do it as a job (not hardware). It took a little while to get this going e.g find a computer with serial, find a test program, find a activex control etc (can send if needed) but i really like it. its got maybe a 1 second delay less than the mindstorm rcx if you ask me, and gives you access 8 motors!! Thanks for the welcome, I love pirate ships I think most from the collection. I have 3 of the big ones and 2 of the smaller ones. Also have the new castle one (trolls), viking and harry potter one. looks a nice display and i think i take a picture later and put it on here

The ones that get me are the people selling huge collections of lego that are actually megablocks, i just have to contact and put them right!

Hamleys in London has a over 50% off the ATPE and the black star wars ship (one with darth, vader, apprenist etc)

Hey I was looking on youtube and a guy has made a lego vechicle and trailer that can move 65KG which is pretty impressive. I was wounder before i start it, has anyone made something out of lego that could move a adult male maybe weighing 100kg or something? I thinking of giving this a go over the weekend, probably be using many many motors, see what free time i get

I would of thought the pneumatics would be stronger. You can get some real pressure on them, some of the engines they have on youtube are amazing. I dont have a actuator yet but i think I got and buy one off bricklink to run a strength test

How good is the new colour sensor, would it be worth just buying that if you have v1? as it is quite a bit of money

I got one of them really old but cool lego control labs that uses a serial cable, it allows you to control 8 motors and 8 sensors. It works fine on a normal serial port but when i use usb to serial convertor, it gets soo far then errors. Has anyone got this to work? What about using a USB to serial with the old rcx 1.5?

On my RCX travels I have not come across this either, do let me know if you find them

Hey there, bit of a lego fan, we were featured in the Mirror last year as my girlfriend proposed to me at Legoland. I have a rather large lego collection, probably 400 built models and well 500kg of loose. At the moment i mainly build Lego models (instead of my own creations) and spend far too much time sorting the lego out. I really like mindstorms (old rcx, control lab and new stuff) technic, star wars and pirates. Erm anything else I should say?
