  5. I could give that a go, would a YouTube video be ok?
  6. Some brilliant ideas people. Do we think the eyes should scan back and forth all the time?
  7. Nothing too special here but as quite a few people love Pneumatic Engines, I thought I would share something I built yesterday. The flywheel is not required but does make it run smoother. Inspired by
  8. Hey people, last time I asked you lot for help, I had a fantastic response and the solution worked really well! (Thanks Alastair Ryan) So I have built this (some of you might of seen it) However, I am struggling to think of a cool head for it, like gadgety with some sensor in it maybe (NXT colour sensor, maybe a mind sensor magic want?), I was going to go with a sort of pyramid shape but the base being vertical. Seemed to be pretty hard to build and plate. So, first off, there is NO PRIZE, its just a bit of a brain storming / give me ideas lol :) Probably suitable for thought of you who are bored.
  9. Yeah I always check out his site and your see that I usually use the Lego RC motor for pneumatic pumping however as his chart shows the RC does not run at 12v, I changed the motor I used. Fantastic site!
  10. The train has ran for a few hours fine off a PF battery. I am hoping this will run on and off for 3 days as I am taking it to a little train show.
  11. Thats a brilliant find mate, thanks!
  12. So I have always wanted to get to make pneumatic train which takes power off the track. Unless I break a train motor, I can't really use 9v so I thought I would give 12v a go. The 12v train stuff featured a power pickup block which made this really easy.(I don't really know much about Lego trains) I am not sure how long a 9v motor will run on 12v however I can easily drop back to using a 9v transformer.
  13. Apologies if someone else has already posted this fantastic robot done by piotrek839! I personally think this rocks!
  14. Does anyone know any technical info on this. I have one and plan to use it to drive a compress or 12v track however I looked up Philohome.com Motor Comparison and sadly he only did 9v. I trying to work out if its better to run a 9v motor at 12v or use the 12v which I would prefer.
  15. A really cool idea, I never thought of making the wheels like that. Inspiring!
  16. Brilliant idea!. I made one using the flex ribbed tubing but was not that great
  17. Video rocks, model rocks and the hamster rocks!
  18. Now thats a model I fancy doing
  19. As someone thats had a go at roller coasters this one is amazing! Brilliant work!
