  1. Thanks mate, hope you been well! Cheers, I hope to add a few things to make it even better, remote control via a mobile phone, lights, better seat, maybe even parking sensors lol. I am really chuffed with the feedback!!
  2. Thanks mate :) Flickr Stream IMG_1413 by burf2000, on Flickr
  3. Hello all So here is a prototype of my latest project, the LEGO Wheelchair which is capable of moving a 90KG person around a room using just LEGO Mindstorms, LEGO Technic and Rotacaster multi-directional wheels. This is still a prototype and under constant development however I really wanted to let people see what I have been up to. My wife giving version 0.8 a test drive. Me having an initial go on version 0.5. The lastest version uses 6 LEGO Mindstorms NXT’s for moving and 1 NXT(master) for controling the direction. Each of the driving NXT’s has 2 NXT motors attached to it and 2 touch sensors used to control direction. The master NXT has 4 touch sensors connected (forward, back, left and right) and 2 motors to switch on the drive touch sensors. For more info please check Burf.org.uk
  4. It was built by http://bright-bricks.com who are both friends that live near me. They also did the 10m tall Xmas tree
  5. Does anyone have some good ideas, instructions or anything else to make a very very very large telescopic beam. I want something 6 foot long + that shrinks down 2 foot? I know one of the large technic models had a telescopic beam but I always remember it not working that well.
  6. Check out http://youtube.com/burf2000 if you like large robots :) (self promotion)
  7. I have used Bluetooth between NXT's using robotC if that helps!
  8. I would love to see how you built the sequencer!
  9. I have zoo many robots planned but running out of space in the house I already have George, Wheeler, Rota (needs rebuilding), Theo Walker, NXT Arm and a half finish giant Pneumatic walker + T1 lol
  10. Thanks for posting the info It is really nice to see another giant robot builder. Maybe in the future we can exchange some idea's. I plan to make a studless version of George after my T1 robot.
  11. Some brilliant ideas! Glad the question was asked!
  12. That is a very interesting little insect, very different
  13. Very nice work. Some very nice idea's, is there a video of it working yet, does the shoulders work? Is it me or does it has 2 different hands? I now have enough studdless to actually start building a large robot!
  14. Thanks, I think this will be one of the first sets ever that I will instantly go out and buy. NO joke, I usually wait for deals or see if the price goes down, but nope, this is being brought straight away!
  15. Thanks for posting this, I sooo can't wait to get some of these motors, when is the set released?
  16. Good question mate, I have never really had many batteries go flat until recently when I was working on T1 I am sure if you put 2 NXT motors under heavy strain the NXT thinks the batteries are flat lol
  17. I think it would work, do you want me to investigate
