  1. Very cool stuff, wonder if he do instructions
  2. Thanks for the book suggestions to, I have a few but never actually get round to reading them. Was not happy with this one though, http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-MINDSTORMS-NXT-Thinking-Robots/dp/1593272162/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1318880069&sr=8-4 All building and no help on coding or anything!
  3. George has been improved! Has better floor movement. Removed footballs from main bearing as they kept falling out,
  4. Hey mate About to fly to Budapest for work for 4 days, soon as I am back I will grab your stuff and see if I can get it working. Then I plan to blog the VB stuff so that people can use it to! Lets bring the old Dacta back to life!
  5. I don't know how that works but that is pretty clever!
  6. I am trying to use the other motors but XL just seem so much easier to mount. The RC / NXT have horrible mounts. Also the RC would need gearing down quite a bit
  7. I have 1 of them, so are we saying they are better than an XL or NXT? How would you remote control them?
  8. There are 2 of them and its forming the base of another large robot. I know I know, it will never work, or will it!
  9. Very cool, love when people make animals / walkers!
  10. Well while I was ill I made 2 large wheels, now I got to think of what to do with them, thinking maybe a robot or traction engine! Slightly different design, pretty strong! IMG_0177 by burf2000, on Flickr
  11. Yeah if the price is right, what are you looking for? Do you have any technic beams
  12. I take some pictures of the cable and post up the code soon
  13. Hey there, As many of the 16's as possible but quantities above 10 help alot. What would like, paypal or is there something your looking for?
  14. Hey there Hope someone can help me out. I am after large old grey plate (4 x, 6 x , 10,12,14,16) and technic beams (1 x 10, 12, 14, 16) I am planning to buid another huge robot out of it and sadly the bricklink prices are mad. Could trade it for stuff. Thanks Simon
  15. Thats very cool, I like that you used larger balls I made one using Zamor balls and used the launcher. Kids absolutely love the shooting of the balls however sometimes it missed the net and went quite far (crap video, new one coming soon)
  16. Really? Very good idea mate, I think great things will come from this site!
  17. Thanks so much, brilliant answer!
  18. I think Eric already knows this but if there was one builder I wanted to following in there footsteps, its him. His stuff is just massive and awesome!
  19. Hey, I have all that, my question is how many xl motors do we think it can run at once?
  20. I know Eric who made this monster, brilliant guy I was referring to tread and using the current lego stuff Thanks DLuders for helping me so much today!
  21. They are what I use at the moment and are very light weight, I was wonder how many motors you can run off a train controller?
  22. No sorry of course I trust you mate, I was just confused if he opened up the motor. Sorry This post is going to save me some good money, thanks!!!
  23. Sorry when you mean raw, are you referring to the metal motor inside the lego motor, or the lego motor output including internal gearing?
  24. Ok to ask a silly question, is that physical motor or after gearing (e.g internal gearing)
  25. So your saying NXT motors are stronger than XL remembering that (if I remember) NXT run at around 9v and on a rechargeable, XL run at 7.4
