  1. Does anyone have a backup of the LegoDrive Source code for IOS. This allowed Jail broken IOS devices to control NXT's. AS you may or may not know, Apple don't allow you to use a iPhone/Ipod to control the NXT. http://code.google.com/p/legodrive/source/checkout The repository is empty :(
  2. I think my Youtube is broke as I can't see anything :(

  6. Small update. So I have added rams to each leg so that it can move forward and also wired up motors to switch the values. However its got a little heavy and so I need to improve the lift and balance a bit. Hope to do some of it tonight
  7. Thats great news that hiTechnic are selling them
  8. Very cool, I love when people build big. 20kg of lego, seems a light model! I think George ways that and he is naked :)
  9. Good post, I keep thinking about using she of the Znap stuff in my robots as they are larger bits. Flex cables are also very useful!
  10. I will give that a go at the weekend when I try to make it walk :)
  11. Oh cool, ok I will have a go, thank you :)
  12. That would work, people also remove the springs :) Not sure I am willing to do that
  13. I must have that set as I found the propeller!
  14. The turntables are on each lego already and I have already started fitting the pistons for the moving of the legs however I ran out. Just waiting for a few more to turn up. I usually use the RC motors as pumps as they are really quick, however I found that the big hand pumps (being motorised) delivered more air randomly. They can however kill a xl motor Hopefully get another video up at the weekend
  15. I so want to watch that film, I have not seen it for ages, was it any good?
  16. I want it to carry my 4 month old son :)
  17. Hey people I thought I would start a thread based on my current project to to track progress. I have always wanted to build a giant pneumatic walker, so I started building one this weekend. Started off having only 6 legs but for stability I have gone with 8. So far it can only raise itself from the floor. I hope people like it. Flickr
  18. That is very cool and cute!
  19. Hey Sam, I am a member of Brickish and had the same issues with Cheque. They now accept paypal!
  20. So shorter tracks will be better but what about width? wider tracks better as they would slide better? Blakbird, you know a lot about technic, how would you move a huge lego model about? Any idea's welcome. I want to make something in the 30-40KG area
