  1. @MAB Thanks, I tried the portal on the ceiling directly above the one in the floor, but I could not fixate it there properly. @Piraten Thanks. @MontyMatte Thank you, I have been collecting for a long time, most of those books are from the first wave of the Harry Potter sets I own, and I believe those brown ones I bought loose a long time ago. @Captain Braunsfeld Thanks. @Triceron Thanks, yes that lizard is from a Frozen polybag.
  2. @MontyMatte Thanks, I used many reference pictures to build it.
  3. @SirBlake Thanks, yeah it uses an awful lot of plates making the wall like this, I won't be using it on something bigger. I believe around 600~800 plates in total, this small vignette uses really many pieces. The ceiling also uses 81, 1x1 in medium nougat, so I'm easily over a 1000 parts. @Mencot Thank you. @woodford86 Thanks, yeah, those launcher bricks line up nicely with some plates to get a nice continuous pattern.
  4. At Majisto's academy of advanced magic, the students learn about portal magic for the first time. Apparently they forgot the rule about making one in the ceiling directly above them and then one on the floor where they were standing... - Inspiration for this build, if not clear is the Portal game of course, where you create portals to solve the levels in the game. - Build for the Summer Joust 2022 12x12 vignette category. 5. Everyday life of a dwarf, mine some ore, wash yourself, visit some distant family, converse with the ladies, defend your mine against goblin intruders who try to steal your precious stuff and start to joy ride mine carts... - Believe it or not I even used some sand red, can you spot it? I also used my 12V train lightning again, for some extra character to the build and completely purist of course. :P Also check out the Movie version on youtube: https://youtu.be/bVrlT0qqqLs - Build for the Summer Joust 2022 Subterranean setting category. 6. @LEGO Train 12 Volts Thank you. @Mr Maniac Thanks.
  7. Very nice, small rendition of this classic set. I like that you have incorporated most important details and even play feature of opening it up.
  8. @MontyMatte Thanks, I looked up some magical/fantasy forest dwellings, and I believe I saw a white building somewhere and used that idea to build this house. The shape of the house is different though and the rest of the build (lantern/fences) and plants/minifig is just my own imagination.
  9. @NOD Thanks. @MAB Thanks, really wanted to add some storks to the build as I saw them on some reference pictures I used. @GeoBrick Thanks, Yeah I had to build parts upside down to get the desired effect, which was a bit tricky to figure out, but it looks great now. @Triceron yeah we need some more/new Arabian sets for more specific parts. @hoppa Thank you, I used a lot of reference pictures to get as close as possible for the size I was going for. @Feuer Zug Thanks.
  10. Many traveler visit the famous bazaar of the north west, bringing and selling all kinds of goods and animals. Inspired by various Moroccan buildings such as: - Ait ben Haddou / Ait Benhaddou - Kasbah Mosque - Ben Salah Mosque Build for the Summer Joust 2022 African setting category. 11. I also made a smaller blacksmith shop to better fit in with other sets: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/188946-moc-blacksmith-shop-alternative-model-of-21325/
  12. Already commented on your MOC on flickr but you also made a really nice build log for it.
  13. Would rather have another colour than gold, however if we're getting the visor back that would certainly be nice, hopefully in more colours though. I want more pearl dark gray ones...
  14. Great looking hideout. You've used some nice classic pieces together with new ones to create a nice hideout. I like the left one the best, the smaller one seems a bit to big for the tree it's build in, but together with the classic rope bridge you get a nice layout. Your Black Falcon castle looks also really nice.
  15. @SirBlake They have far too few sets, and already had a water hideout, so a boat is fitting. @Feuer Zug Thanks. @GeoBrick Yeah, I made a crew of five and they just fit, even with some cargo. @jtooker Thanks, some small parts make an excellent head for the prow.
  16. Silvaridis, the forest wizard home was build for the Summer Joust 2022 Gradients category. I only used green colors, teal and black, white and clear for this build as was mentioned in the category for Summer Joust 2022. It was difficult managing to make a minifig with this limited colour but I really like the wizard I came up with. Silvaridis, the forest wizard home by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
  17. Asger and his band of the Wolf are setting sail to their new destination to pillage. -- I wanted to take a picture of the boat I build for their hideout last year. Setting sail by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
  18. Nothing that a redesign can't fix, I also would love to have that helmet back.
  19. Thanks. @TeriXeri yeah you have to be careful especially the grey space ones you have to careful with. @tomfow I also have some ideas for a Aquanauts MOC.
  20. A new small compact car made by the Murata Electronics corporation. With an all new heads-up display. For sale in district 7, for only 20000 credits. 21. Maybe, but they could have used the old/original figures with those sets in the video instead of those updated figures.
