  1. @MontyMatte Thank you. @mon-o-mat Thanks.
  2. For Kings and commoners, the most famous and busiest tavern in all of Faldia. Not many kings have visited though, it is frequently used by the Royal Falcon Guard and the main Black Falcon army. Video: Pictures: On the balcony are Lord Biron and his wife, who are currently staying at the tavern, he isn’t really happy about all the noise downstairs though. The Golden Crown Inn by Ids de Jong, on Flickr The Golden Crown is run by the Ryan family, who are known for their hospitality. The Golden Crown Inn - bar by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Today we all gathered for the event, and we have a special surprise, the Fantastic Fauns are currently playing in Faldia, at our tavern. Please welcome them with a round of applause. The Golden Crown Inn - the Fantastic Fauns by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Aht and Minke (Fantasy figbarf – Whispering Woods I and IV) are still playing a board game at the window to the right. Aht: “I can see why you wanted to return to the city, really lively here, although I’m fonder of the woods myself.” Minke: “Yeah, when the position of captain of the Royal Falcon Guard came free, I couldn't turn it down, thanks for the recommendation Aht.” Aht: “No problem, glad I could help you.” - Also to the right are two members of the trade guild discussing some new trade opportunities with Felisia, located south of Faldia. The Golden Crown Inn - Aht and Minke playing a board game by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Many locals are also frequently visiting and get together at the tavern. 3. Thanks for the comments. @mrcp6d I bought a bunch of Aquazone specific stuff for some other MOCs, and when I had the parts in hand, I thought it would make a nice roof for the towers.
  4. The black falcon castle of Dawnward is suddenly attacked by the earth dragon Zylbod. Dawnward castle and the earth dragon by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
  5. Ada is harvesting the pumpkins for the Hellumer Harvest festival together with her helpers Felys and Ferrel. They also discover some weird plants, on the edge of the Whispering Woods near the border of Hellum (see the map I made: Map of the Whispering Woods | The magical forest that draws … | Flickr). For the characters, see: [MOC] Fantasy figs of the Whispering Woods - LEGO Historic Themes - Eurobricks Forums -- A small Halloween themed build using some of my Whispering Woods characters. 6. Thanks. @othelarian I don't have a clearer picture of the micro build, but it a smaller representation of my previous MOC: [MOC] Iron Point Beacon (Wandering Skies) - LEGO Sci-Fi - Eurobricks Forums
  7. Just passing Iron Point Beacon, the small Imperial Scout ship is flying towards their destination. -- For more information about the world of the Wandering Skies, where this MOC is situated: https://bricknerd.com/home/worldbuilding-in-the-air-a-chat-with-the-creators-of-wandering-skies-10-13-22 Imperial Scout Schip by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Previous builds, with the same setting: [MOC] On patrol in the Imperial City (Wandering Skies) - LEGO Sci-Fi - Eurobricks Forums [MOC] Iron Point Beacon (Wandering Skies) - LEGO Sci-Fi - Eurobricks Forums
  8. Thanks for the comments. @othelarian yes, that is the piece I used.
  9. To keep the airships from running into the floating rocks, and to signal them of the upcoming cities, a light house is built on one of such floating rocks. Lily is currently visiting her uncle Willard on the Iron Point Beacon a lighthouse near an important trading city of the Low Islanders. She is trying to spot some of the nearby skray (flying manta ray) with her uncle's telescope. -- For the light house light, I used a 12V train light. 10. 2B: "Pod, these Machine lifeforms are behaving very strange." Pod 042: "Affirmative, they act rather suspicious." -- Something else from me, first time trying to build a figure, let me know what you think. After playing Nier: Automata on the switch (a really nice port I would say). I got the urge to try making some Machine lifeforms, after that I felt I also had to make 2B and of course Pod 042. 11. Wonderfull, great job. The fake box art is also a nice touch.
  12. @Mr Maniac Well, there is interior space, but not much and there isn't really anything in there. But you could fit more than 1 fig in, it would be cramped though.
  13. I made a small 8x8 steampunk vignette, let me know what you think and thanks for looking: The Imperial City Guard doing his rounds around the merchant and trade districts in the Imperial City. On patrol in the Imperial City by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
  14. @LEGO Train 12 Volts Thanks.
  15. My Aquazone builds keep increasing, yesterday I made a new one: The Aquanauts listening post is used to detect those Aquasharks, mostly build in remote locations where many crystals can be found. Feedback is always welcome. Aquanauts - Listening Post by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
  16. Debating a bit where to post this, but futuristic town/cyberpunk city is still a city technically, so I'm posting this building here. A small retro SEGA arcade is still standing and doing business in district 7. In the time of full VR and AR tech there are still people gaming the old way. An old mascot is still standing proudly in the window of the store. -- The second building for my cyberpunk city, situated next to the ramen corner: District-7 - Ramen corner District-7 - SEGA Arcade by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
  17. @brimbolet yeah you can miss it when a lot of new topics are created or someone replies to a bunch of older topics at once. But thanks for your comment, I also very pleased with how the last picture turned out.
  18. @SirBlake Thanks. @Feuer Zug Thank you. @Viper Knight For me it's a (big) fox whatever Lego is calling it, but in the end a Kitsune is a shape-shifting yokai (japanese demon) so it doesn't really matter. @hoppa Thanks, I thought mixing it up would work quite nicely, the snow would not cover every area the same.
  19. Very nice. What's your idea about the included wormhole, because without it, it would look a bit empty. Maybe it would be nice if a DHD could be included to make the other side of the gate.
  20. Thanks @tiledfloor. @MontyMatte Indeed it was. But after seeing some more entries in the summer joust contest I redid the photo and background editing: Sunset at the bazaar by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
  21. Yeah, I like all the year 2 and 3 shields a lot, those are some useful shields to make custom figs.
  22. The Sacred Bridge, leading to the Inari shrine. The Kitsune (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitsune) is drinking by the river. And many animals are observing the traveling monk, while he walks on the sacred bridge leading to the shrine. The blue birds are supposed to be Red-flanked bluetails, and the other bird is a Japanese Crane (Red-crowned Crane). Inspiration for this build, is the various red Japanese bridges leading to a shrine or other sacred place, this one was based on the Shinkyo Bridge leading to the Futarasan Shrine in Nikko, which I visited in 2020. Build for the Summer Joust 2022 'Bridging the Gap' category. The Sacred Bridge by Ids de Jong, on Flickr
