I'm pretty late but if you still need them... http://www.majhost.c...ry.cgi?f=281595 Opinions coming later.

...Woah. I've gotta say, I prefer the final versions for most of those, but they all have interesting elements that I wish were kept in the final versions. Like Core Hunter carrying around strung up Hero skulls. Or Stringer having his proper colors. Or that pretty abstract and overly complex Speeda Demon. Or pretty much Voltix's entirely different torso build using that Drilldozer torso piece and that interesting tube connection. Yeah, there's some interesting designs they used here.

Thanks very much for tracking these down! They look pretty interesting, especially the last one. Interesting that Shadow Wind's identity would be revealed on packaging. Feels like the Green Ninja all over again.
-
SO, the identity of Shadow Wind has been revealed in leaked Speedorz packaging. If you'd like to know who he is, you can click this link and find out. If not, well... I don't blame you. Gotta keep some secrets alive.

Yeah, but I cataloged like every single angle of photography for each set at Toy Fair 2012. Every. Single. Angle. I scoured every website, searching for even the slightest of differences in their TF coverage! ...And then I promptly didn't do much of anything with Breakout/Summer Brain Attack. That's where laziness will get you. That's always been something I wish we could see. The sets showcased were apparently from an earlier stage of development than we were able to see in the catalog pictures. I know they were distributed to certain people that attended Toy Fair, but I don't believe they ever made their way to the internet. I could be mistaken, but I believe Dorek and Aanchir have seen them.

Ah, the prototype Witch Doctor... I always loved that version of him. Here's a slightly larger picture of the box itself. Not really TOO much different about the set beside the staff, though. Here's a picture of WD from a different developmental stage, which is pretty close to being finished. The differences in this one amount to little more than some unfinished part coloring, although there's definitely some differences as far as the white Ben 10 tails are concerned. ...Man, I really went overboard gathering 2012 pictures. ._.
-
That's a pretty interesting idea... I'd certainly hope that could be the case. I've been holding out hope for a BIONICLE/HF cameo but, at this point, HF would probably be more likely considering the switch.
-
Those two were definitely the biggest examples I can recall; the only other one that changed substantially would probably be Fire Lord. The rest of the HF sets, barring one or two color or texture alterations, have stayed pretty consistent. Granted, a lot of that probably should be attributed to the stage of the prototype sets when pictures were leaked. There are some that were clearly further along than others (like Breakout and the Brain Attack prelims in this gallery). Time will tell how far along these turn out to be, but I'd wager that they're pretty early considering the bag art isn't even finalized. :P

I don't really understand all the fuss over the watermarks, Like okay, yeah they're there, and maybe it's just me, but I can see the sets decently fine with them present. Maybe I've just gotten used to it. In fact, I'd go so far as to say these watermarks don't really obscur much at all except for internal construction and, let's be real, you can rarely see internal construction in packaging photos anyway. They block stuff out, sure, but it's nothing that can't be easily guessed otherwise. With half of the sets the only thing obscured is the torso. :P The only two things that I'd say the watermarks really block me from seeing clearly are Jaw Beast's arms and Splitter Beast's whole torso construction. That's about it HOWEVER... yes, I'll agree all the different opinion posts are becoming repetitive. However, that always happens; it's part of the charm of the constraction community, if I do say so myself. :P
-
Doubtful; not everybody has the time to listen to a 40 minute long discussion over prelim set pictures. Still, I'm glad that you did. :P Basically, the reasoning behind the theory is that when comparing Jaw Beast's lower leg pieces to the socket joints on his hand, it almost looks transparent. It's a similar case on Evo Walker, where the yellow armor on the right leg looks like it could be transparent when compared to the armor on the left leg. ...Of course, there are a number of problems with this, the most important of which being that these are early 3D renders of prototype sets and it's probably just a trick of the light. However, based on Front's comments a while ago, I'd like to think there will be transparent bones. :P
-
I think that he'd been following the news with rapt attention based on minifigures and was disappointed by the constraction portion. Nothing wrong with that. :P

Just a couple Ninjago prelims that I found (not much different but I'm posting them anyway :P). Kai Fighter OverBorg Attack NinjaCopter Nindroid MechDragon

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Mesonak replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Alright, I tried looking up pictures for these sets on the same site where I found several other themes' pictures earlier today. Unfortunately, there are no pictures to be found. All that I found were these (just going to link the search results rather than each individual page). Some placeholder box designs, though, so that's something I guess. :D- 2,626 replies

Not in the video itself, no. That's why I had to just link the pictures in the description. Don't want the video getting taken down.

Here's the set pictures for this theme! I believe that one of the sets is missing; these five were all I was able to find. 41051 Merida’s Highland Games 41052 Cinderella’s Enchanted Carriage 41053 Ariel’s Magical Kiss 41054 Rapunzel’s Tower of Creativity 41055 Cinderella’s Castle Romance I was browsing around looking for some other themes and stumbled across them on http://www.tamayk.com. I couldn't actually find them by searching on the website itself, but rather googling the term: Lego "[iNSERT KEY WORD FROM SET HERE]" tamayk I'm sure you can find pictures for many other themes using that method. I myself only spent the time looking for a few themes. :)

Here's the gallery that I comprised for ease of viewing. I threw the Juniors sets in there as well. I was browsing around looking for them and stumbled across them on http://www.tamayk.com. Here's the gallery that I comprised for ease of viewing. Sets are pretty interesting. I'll give opinions at a later date. I'm sorry that I couldn't track down the Speedorz sets! Perhaps somebody else can. I was browsing around looking for them and stumbled across them on http://www.tamayk.com. Here's the gallery I comprised for ease of viewing. I would keep something in mind while looking at these - These pictures are obviously extremely preliminary. Don't be too harsh on them as of yet, for they'll likely change before release. I was browsing around looking for them and stumbled across them on http://www.tamayk.com. I couldn't actually find them by searching on the website itself, but rather googling the term: Lego "[iNSERT KEY WORD FROM SET HERE]" tamayk I'm sure you can find pictures for many other themes using that method. I myself only spent the time looking for a few themes. I pretty much talked the sets to death in the video, but I'll summarize my thoughts at a later date. TLDL: wave looks pretty nice, EVO XL sucks, etc.
-
I was amazed, because last year (at least in my area) the sets were impossible to find around Christmas time unless you wanted to purchase them from TRU. I could find them nowhere else until a good while after the 1st of the year.
-
^Pretty much. Technically speaking, pictures are never SUPPOSED to be leaked this early. We've just been fortunate thus far, but it appears as if Lego's stepping up their game this year. I can't exactly fault them. The agonizing wait is certainly making my hype levels increase with every passing day. :P

Both the 16th and the 17th are available to watch online.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
Mesonak replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Yep, the Chima sets were truly a wonderful surprise. I love them all (except Eris, cause yeah...). Here's hoping they make a return. -
Lego released their TDKR set many, many months after the movie premiered. It's not unheard of. I guess it's just a waiting game to see if one is produced or not, but I'd say its' decently likely.

For those interested, the episode's already been available to view online for several days on this website. A different one from usual, but hey, it works. Personally, I thought the episode was decent at best. Any episode which features the Ravens is great in my book, but the whole thing screamed "filler" to me (except for Crooler). May be setting up something, however. We shall see...
