  1. Right above Frost Beast is Stormer, and then right above Stormer is Surge. Right below Dragon Bolt is Evo, and Aquagon is nowhere to be seen, though I believe it may be him below Evo.
  2. Yeah, as Jetrax said, list is quite possibly a fabrication. But to answer your question, all prior years have had pictures released around the end of December. So unless we get them today, which I doubt, that tradition is broken. :P In January, the annual Toy Fairs start happening (I believe London is first, with Germany being second - correct me if wrong), and while photography is prohibited at the London Toy Fair, people usually manage to sneak a few pics, just not of HF sets. We did get pictures from a Toy Fair prior to the one in NY last year, however, but the location it was at eludes me. Regardless, if all else fails, we can expect set pics at the NY Toy Fair, which occurs from February 10th to the 13th. That's pretty much a definite, but hopefully we will see them before then.
  3. Yeah, but we only knew about him at all because I personally sent a PM to the source stating that it seemed it was suspicious for there not to be a larger villain to fight Stormer XL. Everyone who was leaking the pictures seemed to just be ignoring him and/or accidentally looking over him. Either that or he wasn't included in that version of the catalog. That could be the case here, but I doubt it somewhat. :/
  4. Hoping someone saved the pictures as I'm interested in viewing them.
  5. Very nice. Thanks for the confirmation about Furno's head, even though I already guessed as much. Glad to hear that. Anticipating both reviews! Haven't seen either of those sets out of bags yet so it'll be nice.
  6. Very true. Despite the issues I have with BZP and their policies, I know that most have valid reasons behind them; as such, I try and cut the administration a little slack, unlike some that I know. ANYWAY YES. Chima. Constraction. Get hyped.
  7. BZP typically considers anything not released by Lego officially to be "leaked". Even un-watermarked pictures on shopping sites. So I'd wager "no'.
  8. Metru red is never unwanted as far as I'm concerned, especially in Hero Factory. :P
  9. That's because that's Rocka, not Nex. His shield and sword (not to mention his distinct lack of orange or white) kinda give it away. :P EDIT: Replied before you edited.
  10. Just a heads up to everybody; Bruizer is available for purchase on Amazon; here's a link. None of the others are up as far as I can tell, which baffles me; but if anybody's been wanting him, probably best to not delay. :P
  11. Oh yeah, I doubt there would be a show without sets, although they did well for the first half of season three without any influence from the sets. I was considering a similar situation to what happened with BIONICLE, where the sets were cancelled yet the story continued for several months online via short stories on LEGO's website (of course, that really didn't end too well, now did it).
  12. Well now this is a surprising development. I heavily doubt there will be sets, but it's possible the story will continue in some form. Very interesting.
  13. I dunno, man... I approve of most of the aspects of that head (the design, functionality-wise, is ingenious), and I approve of it not breaking... but the fact that it has no facial details to it at all makes me very sad. Bit less inspired in that regard than prior head pieces. Good review. Set looks like it's going to surpass my expectations; the color scheme may be a bit hectic, but I think it works except for the dark green on the chest area. I don't even mind the brown or trans-green upper legs anymore. But that dark green is just unnecessary. :P Also, that combiner looks fantastic.
  14. Wow. Thanks for the pictures; I've got a couple of things to say about this. 1. I don't care how cool Bruizer's function ends up being, that just looks horribly out of place. ESPECIALLY with that left arm being what it is. I think I may just have to buy the necessary parts off Bricklink and replace his left arm with a duplicate of his right one. At least then it'll be consistent. Still, Bruizer looks pretty cool and such. 2. Pyrox looks great. Exactly how I imagined; not disappointed whatsoever. 3. 'Dem brain slugs. Those are... kind of obnoxiously long. Not too big of a fan. 4. ...What absolutely amazing face molds.
  15. I approve.
  16. Excellent news. Looking forward to seeing the new head pieces.
  17. I couldn't ask for more. Honestly; I know some people will have issues with Cragger having a slightly hectic color scheme and design, or Laval's legs being a bit strange, but these sets are perfect representations of their respective animal in HF form in my book, and that's an impressive feet unto itself. Better than every Brain Attack set for HF (except maybe a few of the villains) IMO. Can't wait to see the rest.
  18. I dunno, when I read Scarox's description this leaped out to me: "Launch an attack with the striking blade function." Seems like there may be more going on there than we can see.
  19. Saved them all to my gallery for ease of viewing. These sets are really growing on me. Well, the villains anyway. I still dislike the heroes; the closer I look at Furno XL's design, the worse I feel. Very few redeeming qualities there. :P
  20. When I translated the page it also made reference to Ogrum having several plant-like qualities, such as "stems" and "clawed roots", referring to his green spikes and feet respectively, which I found quite interesting. Made me look at the set a bit differently. :P
  21. Same here; large fan of the Halo series, eagerly anticipating Halo 4's release. Been following FuD and it's surpassed my expectations. Sad to see next week will be the final episode. I'm hoping the series turns out to be successful enough to garner interest in another Halo series, or even the revival of the fabled movie. Regarding Halo 4, I pre-ordered the standard edition several months ago and have been looking forward to the game since its announcement last year. It's shaping up to be a very good game, though some of the changes they've made are... controversial, to say the least. It's definitely going to surpass Reach, at the very least.
  22. May as well give my opinions in a written format rather than audio. As a preface, I actually do enjoy this theme. It's not my favorite (that title goes to Breakout), or my second (Savage Planet), but I do enjoy it more than OoF/RotR. The villains have an interesting organic feel to them, and the heroes' designs, while a bit lackluster in some areas, are certainly unique enough to grab my interest. Furno XL - My favorite version of Furno released thus far, and leaps and bounds better than Stormer XL. He's a bit simplistic for a titan, but his overall appearance is far less flawed than Stormer's (no gappy legs, no overly wide torso armor, etc.). He's not without flaws; the way the torso is constructed looks awfully gappy, and the armor is too small to cover his torso fully. But his look overall is very solid. And I love that sword. Breez - I don't like this version of Breez. The colors seem far too cluttered, with the random brown, transparent green, dark green, and silver messing up her established color scheme. Speaking of colors, I strongly dislike how while all the other heroes have modified versions of their original headpieces in their original colorsm, Breez's helmet is silver. Why was this necessary, exactly? Her lower legs are also too long for that particular armor piece to cover them properly. Still, I like her weapons. But this doesn't hold a candle to Breakout Breez in terms of representing her character. Bulk - Pretty solid set overall. I've got few problems with this version of Bulk, except for the orange hand, especially if it turns out that his cladding is transparent rather than flat orange. Should've been silver, but alas. He's alright. Rocka - Very good, IMO. His colors work, as do his weaponry, and for some reason I just really like the choice of armor they used for his arms and legs. Makes the model flow really nicely. I also quite like his bladed shield. Overall the heroes manage to impress me, except for Breez. While being inferior to their Breakout versions (except Furno), they manage to look unique enough to grab my interest. Bruizer - Love the way this guy is designed. The new "rock" piece looks awesome, and he manages to keep a consistent theme throughout, which I love. Set just oozes personality, and I love it. Pyrox - Another set that I think they pulled off very well. Looks fearsome, has a good weapon for his character, and the return of dark red is quite welcome. Is that blood dripping from his mouth? Ogrum - Not my favorite of the villains, but he manages to win me over for his recolors alone. Didn't think we'd ever see brown again in HF. I think this guy pulls his theme off really well, and for that, I can't really dislike him. Scarox - Easily the weakest of the Brain Attack sets, and my least favorite HF set in quite a while. Looks very uninspired. Unnecessary technic to attach his second set of limbs creates a really cluttered look, and the barebone limbs don't work for him as they did for XT4. The gold claws are awesome, however, and I'll be acquiring quite a few of that specific piece. The villains, while definitely different from past waves of HF with their organic-looking designs, manage to win me over in the end, providing a nice slew of new/recolored pieces and some interesting designs. Overall, I'm impressed. This wave has potential to be pretty great, but as a follow up to Breakout... I'm not sure just yet if the theme will hold up as well. Can't wait to acquire some of these sets for myself and see some more of the story.
  23. I wouldn't actually mind seeing finalized pictures before prelims. Sure, I'm not used to it, but it'd be a nice change of pace actually being able to see the sets we're getting straight away, then possibly seeing preliminaries at a later date (like has happened a few times in the past). Should be an interesting reversal.
  24. I'm pretty happy with the new parts added. Several of those I've been wanting for a quite a long time. One of my only gripes is that it appears XT4's torso is bugged, in the sense that you can't connect armor to the center ball joint. Shame. Regardless, having fun experimenting with the new parts.
  25. ....Lol. I can handle not seeing pictures for a while; don't get me wrong, I love seeing prelims (and later being able to compare the finalized pictures to said prelims), but I wouldn't be opposed to a year where we don't get pictures marked as "confidential". It'd certainly eradicate a lot of the discussion that goes on every year. "Oh wow, these sets are pretty terrible." Two months later... "Oh wow, now that I see finalized pictures, these sets aren't too bad." Etc.
