I WILL SAY THIS: Those at TTV that have had a conversation with the original leaker have not had any prior experience with him in the past. SUPPOSEDLY he has leaked stuff before but none of us have actually been privy to this information. Our faith in the legitimacy of the leaks stems from the conversation we had in regards to the fear of losing his job over the leak (the picture with the set numbers that strong attempts were made to get removed). Obviously not concrete proof, but we believe that the person is legitimate solely due to his emotions and mannerisms when confronted about the subject. TLDR; TTV thinks he's legit, there's no conspiracy

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with Dorek's extreme skepticism. This came completely out of left field and is such an abnormal case with Lego that it's difficult to ascertain what is rumor and what can amount to fact. Maintaining a skeptic attitude in regards to stuff like this is a surefire way to not be disappointed if it (somehow) ends up being false. that being said yeah it's totally confirmed

HERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THEORIES OF MINE: Theory #1: LoSS and, presumably, the rest of the Skull Spiders are out to collect Masks of Power for... some reason. "Defenders" are elemental guardians who protect these masks OR are Matoran mind-controlled and augmented by LoSS to combat the Toa, who are out to stop LoSS from getting the masks. Theory #2: Wave 1 consists of 6 "good" Toa, 6 "good" Defenders (again, defenders of the masks), and 1 villain (LoSS). Wave 2 would presumably consist of a ton more villains + one more hero (presumably Takanuva).

Wow. That's a fairly comprehensive list of observations. ._. Is this clearer version of the "second image" the same image that the public can't see to protect the leaker's job?

So this is a thing Purported BIONICLE 2015 set names. I have no experience with this website so I have no clue of its reputation but it appears to be a shopping website so that lends some credence to it. Anybody else ever seen this site leak stuff before? Translated list of names: LEGO Bionicle 70778 Defender Jungle LEGO Bionicle 70779 Defender Stones LEGO Bionicle 70780 Defender Water LEGO Bionicle 70781 Defender Land LEGO Bionicle 70782 Defender Ice LEGO Bionicle 70783 Defender Fire LEGO Bionicle 70784 Lewa Master Jungle LEGO Bionicle 70785 Pohatu Master Stones LEGO Bionicle 70786 Gali Master Water LEGO Bionicle 70787 Tahu Master Fire LEGO Bionicle 70788 Kopaka Master Ice LEGO Bionicle 70789 Onua Master Land LEGO Bionicle 70790 Lord of Skull Spiders

Simply fantastic; that skirt is excellent! One of the few things that I dislike about it is the skinny elmbows, but the rest of the model looks incredibly well put together. Looks like you've made some good use out of your summer sets' pieces! :D (the head is also genius)

The original source described the colors of the display to us in detail during a conversation myself and some others had with him. We spoke about it at length in an , but for those that can't listen to the whole thing...-Bottom set is white with some gold -Tahu-esque figure is red -Gresh-helmet guy is blue -Spider is black/red -Display is mostly green

Hey there, Ven, How've you been? It's cool that you're here, Since BIONICLE's back next year.
-
Hey sweet, you're here! I didn't even realize you joined until Eljay brought it up, lol. Welcome to EB, Ven. Enjoy your stay. I was a bit shocked at first that they would return to boxes of all things, but until further notice I'm subscribing to the logic that it's merely a placeholder. I can't see them dropping the bags due to their efficiency.

Pretty much my only contribution to this discussion is that, while TTV has not, contrary to what some say, received 100% confirmation that this is legitimate, we have had an extensive conversation with the leaker and, based on the results of our conversation... ...we believe that this is 100% legit. Take that however you will, obviously we're not an official source. :P

No problem; the differences are quite intriguing. I remember there was a two-page spread from a magazine showing the prototype forms of the Stars in a set-by-set format (nothing crazily different, but still cool to have). I think Brickthing found it post-release, yet my attempts to track it down have proved unsuccessful because I can't find it in the BIONICLE 2010 topic and I don't know where else to look for it. XD I know I'm not crazy, though.
-
It's kinda small, but it's the only one I could find, lol.
-
Oh hey a revival. Which prototypes are you referring to, perchance? Were they different from the final versions to any significant degree or merely slightly unfinished pictures from a catalog? If it's the latter, I can probably track it down. If it's the former, I have no clue. :P

^That's quite likely, all things considered. I'm pretty excited for this wave; I'll be honest when I say that the larger sets aren't really enticing me, but all the "normal" sets are on my radar for sure (especially due to the absence of Chima constraction ;_;).

Wow; when I opened this topic I figured it was surely about the socket pieces. Good to hear that those, at least, are doing okay.

Wow; those are some fantastic designs. I'm quite partial to the yellow one myself. Simply awesome. -
Those combo models are LEGIT. Like, incredbly so. Some of the best (humanoid) combo models I've seen. Both versions of Laval+Fluminox, Vardy+Fangar, and both versions of Mungus+Fangar are fantastic. The Mungus-dominant combo model and Vardy's model are the standouts for me. Even the weakest of them, Panthar/Cragger+Fluminox, still manage to use pieces in interesting, different ways to pull off intriguing looks. These make me even more depressed that I won't get many of these (if any at all). :(
