What your refering to is the rescue rangers. They all lived in a tree, and gadget was the girl chipmunk that built all there "gadgets". One of my childhood carttons as well. Great thread!! Saturday mounring carttons.... The best! Nothing beat getting up at the crack of dawn to watch cartoons and have a bowl of cearal! Rescue rangers of course... :-P transformers... Original looney toons. Baby looney toons Pinky and the Brain Duck Tales TMNT Keath Cliff Garfeild (he got me hooked on lasagna) :) And my all time favorites.. Tale Spin and the absolute all time best cartoon ever, hands down no competion ever... Gi Joe!!!! I would get up at 6:00am to watch this on a satruday!! Not all of these were on on saturdays. I beileve that tale spin and rescue rangers were on during the weekdays. I remeber i used to run home after school so i could watch'em!

Sounds like a great idea! That could provide a cheap way to get a true 6 story hotel! I noticed in the second cafe' corner with the intereior that he built his on a cross road. I was going to do that with mine, but could not find any in time before mine arrived. (I'm still builing mine. On the 3rd night now) now i wish i waited. Not sure if i want to take off all those tiles, and then take put them back on. (it took almost 2 hours alone to just do that! :-X ) Oh well. In time.

When did we first see pics of this boat? This is the first i'm hearing about it. I must be blind! :-P Never the less, i love it!

while i respect your opinion, and admire your honesty, this coment makes absolutly no sense. Killing machine? Yo whom exactly? As brain box already stated it (like 90% of all animals) only kill to eat. So where do you get off calling polor bears killing machines?

Yes , but remeber that Lexus is Toyota. They may have not made a super car in the past, but toyota is no stranger to when it comes to racing. So I imagine the'll be using there racing experiance for devolping the LF-A. There probbly using the Lexus nameplate because it might help give it a more "profesional" feel to some. But again, this is the first that iv'e heard of toyota using lexus outside the U.S. Lotus helped Nissan with the GTR? I wonder why that is. Lotus makes great cars, but i don't see why they need there help on this one. Honda will defentaly need to go back to the drwing bard with the NSX. Its completely out dated.

I really hate how LEGO changed the hose noozle design. It was much better when the hose was glued into the back of the noozle. Now you have to knot it through? Horrrible.

Nice! I'll be looking to build my own muscle car in a couple of years. Would love to find a decent 68 mustang fastback, or a 70 chevelle SS 454. I have a Toyota FJ Cruiser. I just lifted it 3" and put on some 33" M/T' tires last week. Haven't had a chance to try out the new suspention and tires yet. So is Lexus now expanding its line outside the U.S.? This is the first iv'e heard of the Lexus name plate being used outside the U.S. (In the U.S., Lexus is Toyotas luxury divsion. ) Are there any cars in europe, or the rest of the world wearing a lexus nameplate? It looks like the Toyta is just a concept and if the the LF-A makes it into production, it doesn't seem logical that the toyota will be made since toyota and lexus are the same company. It will be very intersteing to see how the GTR does. With the demise of the beloved Skyline GTR, the new GTR will have quite a name to live up too. I'm hoping the stick with the plan of a twin turbo V-8, or at least at least some kind of turbo engine. Onlny time will tell if it can with stand the abuse that the mighty RB26DETT straight 6 that came in the previous generation GTR had. As for the Honda NSX. Never cared for honda'a, probbly never will.

Great trailer! Movie looks great! And a may 25th realse date. Its coming out alot sooner than i thought! -
Again its all about what games you like. Sorry, but not everyone likes Zelda. I've played it before, and its no big thing. (at least to me). I'll say it again. Gameplay is what the gamer gets out of it. Nitendeo focus's more on roleplaying, and cutesy little animals running around. PS3 and 360 do everything else. I'm not coming down on anyone that likes or prefers the Wii over 360, or even the PS3. But everyone keeps refering that the Wii's gameplay surpasses the others like there stuck in the stone age. The Wii has some cool controlers. I'll defenatly give it that. But thats preety much were it stops. Take away the controllers and the Wii looses what edge it (if any) had over PS3 or 360. That being said i'll really looking forward for Forza 2!! Now THAT will be for some good "gameplay". :-P

Great review dunamis! I now feel more confident about have dropping the dough for this set! I have an idea. I was thinking about building the set on some road base plates. interection, and 2 straights. This way you could have a place to park cars on the side of the street, or even set up a fire scene. I think this will really give off a good feeling a an actuall street scene. What do you guys think? I should have mine by tuesday, so i might give this a try.

I must admit, your mocs are very impressive Lego 2000. You have very cool building techniques. The only down side that i can see is that the wheels won't free spin. But still impresive non the less.

Buy doing somthing i usume that you mean closing the thread, but i don't think that would be fair. As long as there are a bunch of people activly talking about the topic. (Unlike some tv how threads were they are 3 pages long and only two people invloved. :-| ) But somehow i forgot all about southpark. Probbly tied for 3rd for me. -
Construction for me. I am a big fan of heavy equipment. Espeacailly cranes! Can't wait for lego to release another one! Its going to be hard to beat 8421!

I love Family guy! probbly my favorite animaated show, followed by the Simpsons and then Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Don't mess with Master Shake!! X-D Anyways i love Stewie the most (as many do). I love it when he had the battle in the play ground with his"twin" Please forgive me, but his name escapes me. -
Sweet! Good luck and have fun!!

Part of its my fault though. I should have asked them to put one on hold, or ask if they actually were looking at the set. Oh well.

Ok So i'm kinda ticked off. I went down to my local lego store (a 1 hour drive *sing* ) to pick up Cafe' Corner. I called ahead of time to confirm it was there. The employee said that recieved 24 in so i didn't bother putting one on hold. I get there, and it turns out they never recieved it. I asked for the manager since i was a bit upset for driving an hour to pick up a set i was told was in stock. The manager found the employee i talked to and it turns out that he was looking at the order slip for the sets that they will be recieving in the next week or so, and not the in stock info. The manager was preety cool and said that he could order it from lego.com, give it to me at a discount and even ship it to me free of charge! :'-) So thats the good news. The bad of course, is that i'll have to wait at least another week as it is only ground shipping. Oh well. At least i know the customer service is there. :-)

Nope I'll bet' cha a cafe' corner that Spiderman 3 willl be the biggest movie of the year. That is till Pirtates of the Carabean 3 comes out. I think that its going to be between the Simpsons 3, Transformers, and 300 for 3rd. Though now that i think about it, it could be in line for the top 3. -

Unfortuntly, i doubt that would ever happen as The simpsons are geared a bit more to adults than children. This is one of the reasons its shown in the evening time. Never the less, The Simpsons is a great show. Def one of my favorites.
