  2. Entry has been posted close to deadline, there was no time to find this earlier.
  3. Thanks Sariel for reviews, I really like your presentation format. Looking forward for B-model reviews of 42038 & 42039 - these look quite cool! Btw, that light green parts in 42039. I won't be surprised if this is one time use and won't appear in nearest future.
  4. 41. Rat Rod 8081 is the original model chosen for TC5 contest I've decided to make a Rat Rod as a C-model Functions: 1. independent front suspension 2. drag type rear suspension 3. steering controlled from driver place 4. working inline 4-cylinder fake engine, connected to rear wheels 5. openable suicide type doors Entry topic
  5. After few minor changes I made better pictures:
  6. Comparing the shade of soft axles in the front of 42039 to other parts around it looks like these are not white as expected but LBG or flat silver.
  7. What if you'd use tiny ring, that is just as the same size as hose.
  8. If you are looking for some respect among good/best MOC'ers I'd suggest trying to get into eyes of TLCB first, by building some cool vehicle. And remember, don't ask to publish it - just use a proper media (this forum is included ). If it is good/cool - this won't pass unnoticed.
  9. Well there are a few new parts became available in new colors this year not mentioned in this thread: Pneumatic T Piece New Style (T Bar) in Black Technic Ball Joint in Metallic Silver Wheel 30mm D. x 14mm (for Tire 43.2 x 14) in Yellow Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Angled #4 - 135 degrees in Orange Technic, Liftarm 1 x 7 Bent (4 - 4) Thick in Trans-Light Blue
  10. I believe the basic rule of Hall of fame is not to ask to get there.
  11. While I new about two version of NXT brick I've missed this somehow when mentioned Google. Sorry for that. I did extensive search and came to conclusion there could be no HDK for NXT 2.0 brick? I discovered this document (in russian) where reference list shows documentation for LEGO Mindstorms NXT HDK on LEGO support page had version of 2006 year on 10.05.2014. While we cannot say this is a truthful source it gives a hint.
  12. I don't think there is an alternative. Have you tried earlier Brickficiency versions?
  13. just Google it. Here's what I got on the first link. Is it what you've been looking for?
  14. You'd better use Brickficiency
  15. Try to leave a tiny little bit of space between 16T LBG gear (seen in a center of 2nd picture) and liftarm on top, as it looks to be compressed a little bit.
  16. Good catch, however rules don't say anything about using "TLG illegal" techniques
  17. Don't MOC too much, but found I have set eligible for TC5 contest. So gave it a try. Here is what I came up with on a first try - Rat Rod. No specific copy, just basic similarities. Functions: 1. independent fron suspension 2. drag type rear suspension 3. steering controlled from driver place 4. working powerful V8 inline 4-cylinder fake engine, connected to rear wheels 5. openable suicide type doors Still, quite a lot of (good) spare parts left, but I'm tight on some very basic pins.
  18. Wellcome to EB! I'm a catalog collector myself. Which country you are from? Don't think price will be high, about 1-2 EUR each, however older ones could cost a bit more.
  19. Great looking hard! I hoped it used RC motor
  20. Extra parts on BL seems to be accurate for, except sometimes.
  21. Oh, missed that you mentioned Rebrickable, I thought of Bricklink
  22. I wonder where/how do you see that?
  23. There is list for 42027 on Bricklink, but not for 9393.
  24. Those prices are too good to be true, just look at available sets which priced quite below RRP.
