  1. Those look interesting, how the quality on the Pogo minifigures generally?
  2. I'm... confused, all of your posts have been opinion. You as a customer can't tell Lego what they can and cannot do. Lego have an extensive Market Research department, they know what people are prepared to pay for sets, they know what people would like to see as a new set, they know what people look for in a set. So its quite ridiculous to come on here and say "Lego won't do this, they won't do that" its not a productive discussion, particularly as you don't have any evidence or research behind your argument. So either you're trolling this thread to wind up members or you're not reading posts.
  3. I thought the film was truly phenomenal, there were some nice Homages to the OT and PT and the sets and CGI was excellent and not overdone. My only gripe would be Captain Phasma, its not everyday we see a Female Villain Captain and her role sort of felt... Cut down, if you know what I mean, she appeared in the first few scenes, she then appeared in the end, got captured by the heroes and that was it. At least we know she's appearing in the next film. Overall though, excellent film.
  4. You should avoid judging the sales of a set based on how you view them at your local stores. Just seeing a set linger around for a long time on shelves isn't an accurate way of determining sale statistics. And, like Solscud said, you have a much larger audience than 2007.
  5. Lego said it will return shortly in the new year - so somewhere in January I expect :)
  6. Nice! That sounds like an excellent year for UCS sets...
  7. I always like to Use LDD, you have unlimited parts in all colors, the only downfall I suppose is that you can't see if the MOC can hold its own weight in places.

  9. But The Force Awakens only took place 30 years after RotJ, so what did you expect? The TIE fighter and X-Wing have clearly evolved. I mean, when you compare the cars we drive today to the ones in the 1980's... sure, there's a difference both in structure and engine but they don't look drastically different.
  10. I get that look a lot. At the end of the day Lego is a hobby, just like watching football, collecting stamps, collecting shoes, listening to a certain band etc. why should People who buy Lego be judged any differently?
  11. Its just the way Ford threw it back as though he saw a spider or something... Han Solo obliviation at its finest :)
  12. But that doesn't mean they were reluctant to do so. The word "reluctance" implies that Lego were unwilling or resentful in providing an alternative solution to the neck piece - which we know was not the case, I imagine Lego realised the problem as soon as reviews started hitting in, however Lego obviously had other things to focus on (Force Friday), hence why there was a slight delay. All in all, there was no initial reluctance is what I'm trying to say.

  14. I think it was more your lack of contribution to discussion other than your vote for a player who was already confirmed anyway.
  15. posses.
  16. Very nice work!
  17. Yes! I have that problem as well, except I get redirected to the French version :/
  18. Sorry, Vote: Anthony Dixon (jluck)
  19. But if he does, he may end up Under the Lake!
  20. Well good to hear we have a result: Vote: Anthony Dixon (jluck)
  21. Very good build and story!
  22. You don't have to leave the forum completely. If you just avoid certain topics like the two discussion topics and the Star Wars topic over in the Culture and Multimedia thread... I'd say you'd do just fine.
