  1. Very good sir! The top is nicely smoothed up, the greebling is good. I too would love to see an inventory.
  2. Good to see our first Scum caught! Although I'm surprised about Delwyn, he was acting scummy. Anyway, now we can start looking into the voting patterns.
  3. The thing is though its a bit of a paradox, people want the sets early but they also expect perfection amongst the sets. This of course is unrealistic, in order for Lego to provide new sets for a new movie on time they have no choice but to work of concept art, but that will result in some inaccuracies. :\ I think it sort of depends on what you define as a "spoiler". To some, even a name or a place could be classed as a spoiler but to others, they don't mind. I mean, as long as major plot points aren't being revealed through the sets I think that would be fine.
  4. I too enjoyed the special, a very good story and its finally great to see the Doctor give River her screwdriver. A series 10 has been confirmed although I think it may be in two parts unlike Series 8 and 9. In terms of ratings, the first few episodes were lost to the Rugby World Cup because England were playing. Another problem was that the times of the Episodes kept changing making it hard to keep track of when the next episode was on. First one was on at 8:20 then the time got pushed back to 8:00 and then onwards again...

  6. Congrats on your first set, 3 in 1 are very good sets.
  7. Yes, I was missing a 2x2 plate as well. So I had to "borrow" one from my Palace Cinema.
  8. But that's the point, Lego need to be generating sales and boosting income, and to do that they need to release the wave of sets at the best possible moment, which in this case was Force Friday. Also, TLG did not set any release dates, Disney wanted the sets to be released along all the other merchandise in September, they can't just release the products a few months later. It would certainly not be a good stepping stone for the future of Lego and Disney. I fail to see how the new sets gave the customers "spoilers", nothing, not even remotely in the new sets I would consider a major spoiler. The majority of content in the sets we had already seen in the trailers, so Lego had not spoilt anything for anybody. Thing is, when Disney gave them a release date, Lego, as per usual like all other sets, began the design process 18 months in advance and were given concept art to work off, which we can safely assume had a different colour and did not imply wing rotation, and even if the color and design did change overnight Lego cannot just change the design with the click of a finger, they would have had to consider the piece count, the instructions, the cost etc. And on top of that the release date would have pushed forwards, something Disney would have not been happy about. Designing a Lego set is like playing with Dominos, if you change something like wing rotation lots of other key things get affected as well. And really, I wouldn't consider any of the sets lackluster in quality, with the exception of the shuttle its fair to say TLG have done an excellent job in recreating the ships we saw in the movie.

  10. Very nice Wall-E pictures, I like the posing of Wall-E. Nice cookies as well!
  11. Very good mate! The book is excellent, as are the other builds.
  12. Nice work with the micro X-Wing! Happy Christmas to you to.
  13. that
  14. Well Its been said from a trusted rumour source who's been reliable in the past... and it's been seen in person along with the Snowspeeder. I personally would wait until a few pictures start skimming the internet, and then decide which version you prefer.
  15. Excellent Review! Definitely going to buy this!
  16. Very nice build!
  17. Looks very good and will certainly go well with my current collection.
  18. The problem at hand here is that alot of members are voting for sets because of the quality of the set or the Licence - not because they would actually buy the set. This is why we have 4 massive sets in the current review stage, as MoC's their phenomenal, but as proposed sets for a company with a limited production capacity they're not. I think that's... debatable. Just because Lego don't choose, doesn't mean they need to shut the Ideas program entirely. I mean, I would much rather Lego take ages choose a set that's realistic and can be developed into a good quality model rather than Lego picking some random proposal in order to keep everyone interested in the site. Just my thoughts though.
  19. No prize for me, but thanks for the amazing raffle Copmike!
  20. Happy Christmas everyone! May their be a certain building block under everyone's tree. :)
  21. Well in some respects, its a good thing, because it allows collectors to acquire certain minifigures that they would have otherwise had to pay more for had that minifigure been in another set. I would much rather pay £50 for a Gungun sub with Queen Amidala rather than have to pay £XX amount of money in order to aqquire through another set.
  22. I think Battle is £49.99 I'm not sure about the resistance ship.
  23. Thanks for the reply, shame that because those figures do look like something that would go well with the current TFA sets.
  24. He did and there is some debate on that. I haven't seen the film very recently but the lightsaber is seen falling down until the large shaft. After a quick watch on Youtbe, its possible that the Lightsaber got lodged in one of the tunnels like Luke did.
