That sounds good. Vader's Tie sounds interesting.

I agree Oky, Las year was a strong year in movies. In no particular order here are my personal favourites: 1. Spectre 2. Star Wars 3. The Man from U.N.C.L.E 4. The Martian 5. Inside Out 6. The Peanuts Movie 7. Furious 7 8. Avenges Age of Ultron 9. Ant Man 10. Kingsman Sectre Service I also think a very notable mention should go to Shaun the Sheep, I thoroughly enjoyed that movie, the comedy was good as was the story.

True, the CMF line allowed people to obtain the figures without spending too much money overall. I suppose it also depends on what themes you collect. For me in 2015 I brought a lot of Star Wars sets and some Marvel sets so buying the Kwik-E-Mart was a bit of a stretch for me... but for others... maybe not so much. But like you said depends on the person.

Agreed, its time we saw an update for the Y-Wing. I'd also like to see a Mon Calamari star cruiser.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Very nice work , once I get my hands on the Superman figure I'm going to make a Poe figure as well. It is a very popular set... If you do find a store which is expecting some more soon give them your name and phone number and ask if you can reserve a set, I've done it before in some stores and it's worked out fine. -
Very nice Sir Gareth The new floor is a lot more accurate and I like the modifications you made to the walls and console.

Hmm... Looking back at the previous Days there's a couple of things that don't sit well with MT: Firstly we have his "debate" with Delwyn (RotF), she built up, in my opinion, a very strong case against him on Day 2 and then she got killed that night. Something about that doesn't add up... because of the result about Anthony, the focus was drawn off MT, but to me it appears Ranger knew/discovered something that MT didn't like and killed her to keep himself safe. Secondly we have this: Now interpret this how you like but to me (now that we know Cutcobra is scum) it's a very subtle way of defending MT against Quincy and Delwyn but attacking them at the same time. We need a lynch so... Vote: Ewan (Mostlytechnic) Odd that, because like I said yesterday that wasn't what you told me: You seem to be very good at finding fault in other people's logic, but not actually contributing your own thoughts in the discussion.

As far as I can remember, there was never a Starkiller Base, I think it was a misinterpretation of someone's wish/want.

It's funny you say that Foorth, because on Day One you also subtly defended Anthony: So to me this whole post feels like an attempt to shift the focus on to someone else other than yourself...

The thing is licensing is a two way agreement - whilst Fox would have pushed Lego for more sets, Lego may not have been interested in producing any more. £250.00 is a lot of money for someone to drop on a set... irrespective of how good the price to parts ratio was. The Simpsons theme also had a lot of competition from other themes this year. I imagine that Star Wars and Marvel would have eaten into people's wallets this year than the Simpsons. As a collector you can't buy everything. The Kwik-E-Mart may have been a better set than say... Kylo Ren's Shuttle, But it's over double the price. Even if lots of people like the theme you can't expect everyone to buy it. For some people, £250.00 is a wage/salary... for a month. It's a big ask in price. Hear me out, I would like to more Simpsons sets as much as the next man. And I'm sure Lego will renew their contract with Fox at some point in the future. But at the moment it's staying where it is. I think instead of complaining of what we didn't get, be grateful of what we did.

Very good I think the blank expression on the female minifigure captures the look on the head of the mannequins very well.

Aftermarket prices can be horrible for some sets. So Yes! get it while you can.

I'm guessing May 4th...

Lucas was without question a great producer and director. But it seems to me like an attempt for a fading star trying to get back into the public eye.
-
True, but a character being considered canon doesn't make them more or less obscure than other characters. The viewer had a clear shot of Max Rebo playing in the Sail Barge. And Aurra Sing appeared a bit in the Clone Wars. So it made sense that they appeared in the sets that they did.

Last time it was "Wolf". So I'm guessing Cody, Rex, Fox?

I agree When you compare the Gameplay of Lego Star Wars III to the original game(s) there's a noticeable improvement in the structure of levels, the combat of the characters, the cutscenes. And one thing that the Star Wars games never did was integrate the actual voices of the characters in the game. Another thing that should be considered, is that Lego Star Wars has a much larger fan base than it did in 2005, so the decision to remake the original game would be, if anything, a profitable one.

Indeed, so it always gives us hope for a minifigure we may not have expected.

The pressing question is: What Minifigures will be included? I'm hoping for Shimi or Padme but one can only hope...
