It is green, normal green...most probably mat28 Dark Green in LDD I guess (I have that ExoSuite Ideas set personaly)
-
To me it looks like you are using sunsky light and you have changed most probably sundir and/or turbidity values - can you provide your .sc file?
-
Thanx Actually I did not think about it like that (switching CS scheme vice versa): in fact I was looking for combination that was not used before in any other LEGO themes ending up with mainly yellow with bits in white and black...when it came to trans glasses I tried all possible combis and simply trans dark blue fits the most...but heck yea, now as you are mentioning it I am see it too that it is in a way partly just a reversed CS schema, haha - thanx for letting me know. BTW Vitaj, kamarat...I am too from Slovakia

I just saw OFFICIAL PICTURES of one set from Nexo Knights called "Fortrex" which is basically a mobile castle which the idea itself is quite original and I have to change my previous words slightly cos this one has really something to it (and that even more when my own next MOC I intended to come with would be almost exactly the same without ever knowing TLG is doing also one...but mine is more of a caravan on steroids than mobile castle, anyway being happy that at least this specific idea got thru in LEGO process...ah silly me now noone will believe me I am not copying them, gee ), see here for the Fortrex image (sorry that it is from FB): And here is also the official video for it:

I guess the main difference between us is how we understand the Space theme: I understand it the way that anything outside planet Earth is meant to be Space theme, where you undertstand it (or it seems like that to me) that only/mainly stuff going on in actual space/universe/place-full-of-stars-with-the-black-inbetween is Space theme, right? Anyway I guess we both agree on main things here...but didn't we deviated too much from the topic's theme already, huh? Yes, I just posted the same you are saying right before I saw your new post
-
Well, as for the AZ if I am right they actually evolved from Seatron that was never released tho meant to be new Space subtheme (there even was new monorail developed for it then!) so NO, to me they are more Space than anything else... And as for the space for my Space - yeah, you're right it is a quite big problem so I ended up having them all squeezed in cca. 4m x 5m rather small room so there is not even place from where I could make some nice pictures, bah!
-
Yay, Aquazone & Rock Riders - I have considered them both SPACE subthemes (cos as you have said RR are space travelers wreck on some distant planet and Aquazone are basically extraterestrials living under water on some distant planet) therefor I included both to my huge SPACE complex I have here at home (basically all SPACE sets LEGO ever made in pristine condition...and it really costs me all of my money, literally BUT I have them after all finally for a quite long time now...exactly as my Signature is telling! )
-
Ehm, sorry to tell you but KNIGHTS NEXO has nothing from the Space theme actually as it seems...it is mor elike Robo/Transformer style

Well, I saw those pictures lately and I must say quite big disappointment for me: I expected something more mature in concept and design (that combination promised so much more if only it would be taken a bit more seriously than it actually is!) but what we'll get is kind of "cartoon for 6yr old children" style with Poland's famous "Lolek & Bolek" look (and I as a child grew up upon Lolek & Bolek so no attack intended - more like quite opposite, they are cool still ), I am affraid... Anyway, I hope this new theme will not be meant as a long time relacement for Space theme (fingers crossed once again tho it didn't help much last time )
-
BTW I wonder: can those big gray brick doors on left be opened?
-
Oh my oh my...now this design is really extremely interesting - at least some new ideas and not as usually the same concepts as seen elsewhere for hundred million times before (tho I would omit that front antenas part cos that is the thing I just mentioned that occures all the time) - GREAT WORK, LIKE IT VERY MUCH, keep it goin'!
-
Interesting...now only if the minifig heads had asian eyes, right?
-
Very nice scenery
-
Yes, I know that - I have already reported this a few days ago. It is most probably problem inside msx80's BlueRender code part because it already comes as one color to parser in SF where there should be two, so only he can repair that...

Well, if this pictures in this video are real/true (still hoping they are not!) then I have to say I am quite disappointed, really... *** ***

So, I have ready another MOD: GrainySlopes, BUT unfortunately at the moment ONLY 2 BRICKS are affected, namely 3039 and 3040 as only those two having active UV mapping presented, so if we want having that grain on all of them (I mean on those slopes that actually should have one) then the only way how to achieve that is to manually make UV mappings for all those bricks that are missing them which is quite terrific work to do as there is no way how to find out which coordinates in points array are those for the slope face, and as there are like 200+ pairs for 3039 alone (and I consider this one being small brick) one would have to try combination of all of them and that is unthinkable. I was even checking if there is some "hidden logic" in order/sequence in which are the elements of the array put in, like (imaginary model situation): index0 = LowerLeftOfTheSlopeFace, index3 = UpperLeftOfTheSlopeFace, index7 = UpperRightOfTheSlopeFace, index11 = LowerRightOfTheSlopeFace (or any other logic) but there is none such thing - I checked like 4 different slope types comparing known points for UV mapping version of the brick with the normal points that creating whole brick and it was on different index everytime without any sequence logic... Therefor I am still trying find out some usable way how to do it for all... That being said I would like to ask you: are you interested tho for now only those two slopes would have grain or not?

Well, as you did not provide .sc file for testing (sorry but pasting its whole content here as a message is - as @Calabar said - unusable and makes post hard to read) I tested with default BR Scene.sc file, that is "1024x768" + "aa 0 1", so maybe you have something wrong in your .sc file? Can you zip/rar both your files (*.lxf / *.sc) and provide it for testing, please? As for the baseplate: first when I saw your post I wrongly interpreted it as pure plate, not baseplate, realising that I have completely forgot about them therefor none of them has LogoOnStuds for now. Next version will include LOS for baseplates too.
-
TESTED ORIGINAL BR ...................................................................................... 01m 40s bublible MOD (both SimpleBrickSeams & LogoOnStuds enabled) ...... 01m39s So as you can see quite surprisingly it was even 1 second faster than original BR (but of course take it just as pure approximation as times can vary slightly easily: on second or third ran it could be vice-versa, it is normal). That being said: there is no problem, MOD behaves as it should (that is exactly as original BR version), well at least on Win7 Ultimate 64bit.
-
I like very much that small flying "Thing" with hands trying tp turn off/on (?) that gray wheel...
-
Aha! Most probably there is some old brick that is no longer in the newest LDD therefore BR got mad about it and stops with erors - in fact I intuitively did exactly that as a first solution but did not re-saved it hoping LDD would somehow tell me somethings wrong and as nothing of that ever happened in LDD I thought the problem is elsewhere...
-
Please, can you provide JUST THE ACTUAL TWO FILES: .lxf and .sc? You can zip/rar those two... + also there is something wrong with your .lxf as it makes BlueRender giving me errors and no render (both official and my MOD versions)
-
Thanx but ya, whatever...for example this model got only like 90 supporters over a year period so I think that says it all: ppl have probably different taste or they are so dumbed down that all they want is continually nonstop repetitive clones of transformers, mechas and some stuff from films (SW and such), looks like there did not left any need for originality nor imagination these days at all...and I am slowly becoming tired of it sometime, really...as if the world is heading to Absurdistan-reality from one great hillarious film called "Idiocracy", eh!
