Ambassador Project - Haven Guard Flag & Torso Designs
michaelozzie replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'm just looking at this project now and it's quite interesting. If your thinking of a dutch inspired faction that's cool but the uniforms need to be more 17th century inspired when the dutch were most prominent. The ones I've seen are all too late 18th- beginning 19th century designs. -

That's really cool and I like the way you didn't just make it a dedicated war machine. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

The problem with the Rebels stormies is they used the normal helmet mold and printed the cartoony face on it which doesn't suit that shape helmet. That's why it's looking distorted. It really needs a new mold to better suit the look in the Rebels series. I really like the new stormtrooper from the ISD set as they finally corrected the browband and eye areas of the helmet print. It looks vey movie accurate and I have begun collecting a few extra ones of these with the 2 I got in the ISD. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

I'm curious if this wave of Rebels sets will see a new mold for the Stormtroopers helmets rather than the ugly printing on the old style helmets. Im thinking its more a possibility with the Troop Transport and AT-DP sets. I doubt we would get a General Veers with the AT-AT microfighter. Most likely a Snowtrooper. -
The sections all lift away modular style to reveal the interior. I will post some pictures in next update

Just saw this on your Flickr and it's really nicely done. You are a landscaping specialist.

Here's a close up of the soldiers uniforms. The shakos are from woody64's shapeways storewhich I have painted and also made the chinstraps too. Guard duty by michaelozzie1, on Flickr

Thanks guys. Yeah Sebeus the angles were one of the main features I wanted to capture, giving it that Vauban influence.

Great details on the truck and a nice choice in colours too.

Hi everyone its been a long while since I last posted a MOC in the pirates forum. Anyhow here's a look at a project that Im working on now. I had finished the main fort part a few months ago but got a bit distracted by other projects so its good to get more work done on this. Sorry about the picture quality but will take better ones when all is complete. The front bastion with drawbridge and glacis are my latest additions. Next will be the coastline behind.

I like the look of that X-wing with blue. Some exciting things to be seen in next years sets. -
Its very stable actually and can quickly be removed so it can be a standard speeder bike on its own.
-
These shop buildings look really good. I like the names you used for the retailers too.

Just a fun little MOC I put together last night after wanting to fix the look of TLG speeder bike. I thought why not add a sidecar. I found one image of a model like this on the net and moded the look a bit.

Very nicely put together. That rolling stock looks wonderful and the colours work well together.

An exploding Jah Jah binks bust would go down well. Hoping we can see the pics of the Inquisitor TIE soon -

The pricing is pretty extreme for the summer wave. I'm waiting for my local toy store to get the stock in as they are always 10€ to 20€ cheaper than anywhere else. For instance they have had the At-te for €79 for months now. -
Coming along nicely this. I like the generator building

Hahaha nice -
The kamas or skirts need to be pulled more around to the front so they don't stick out so much at the sides. Was the same with the airborne troopers. Thanks for the review though. I'm curious why they never have a red window looking piece on the AtAt heads like in the movies on any of the lego models they have produced? The all grey doesn't look right.

Nicely put together Barduck

MOC train inspired by a belgian automotive set.

Great first train MOC and some very nice techniques used to capture the details. Will be great to see this in brick one day
