Another great build ISC and always full of so many cool details.
-
Thanks and yes I agree it looks darker in the trailer. I had at first hoped to try it in dark grey but my supplies are a bit low in that colour right now. Too many big building projects lately have begun exhausting my grey bricks. The light grey matches better with my other vehicles though like you said.

Thanks and yes I will add some clear round 2x2s underneath. Curious if it is actually a hovertank as everyone assumes or a tracked vehicle. Yes there are more photos of the building on my flickr. It's a project I've been working on for a while now. Click on the photos and it will link to my account.

After seeing the Rogue One trailer I thought I would try a quick MOC of the hovertank that appeared briefly. A lot of guesswork what it will look like as we can't see it all, but this is my idea. I had a go at updating the arms on my Scout Troopers with the Mad Scientist's arms too. Looks a lot better now. Upgraded my scout troopers with the cmf mad scientist dual molded arms. by Michael, on Flickr

Thanks Zephyr and that is my intention to try creating that model railroad look in lego.

Always love your builds Duc. The wagons look great and nice to see separateley those bogie designs.

Thanks 12 volt I just need to add an gantry crane and some vehicles now. Thanks Duc.

A smaller layout build from me this time. Factory area with that 60's to 70's feel about it. Very observant of you and yes that is a side of this battle I wanted to capture. We always focus on the walkers and speeders in Hoth builds and forget those ordinary foot soldiers, slugging it out on the ground.

Just a small build today. Snowtroopers overrunning Rebels in the trenches on Hoth and a bit of hand to hand combat ensuing. Into the trenches of Hoth by Michael, on Flickr Into the trenches of Hoth by Michael, on Flickr

Looks good. A bit of a nervous balancing act going on there.

Love it

Thanks guys. Yeah I found the 6 wide windscreen made the cockpit too narrow so its a compromise losing the curved edges to gain the better scale. It would be nice to one day see TLG bring out an 8 wide windscreen piece.

Yes I will try and take some photos tomorrow with the landing gear and showing the boarding ramp.

A little project I have been working on. Basically I was going to get the Lego Shuttle Tyderium but was a bit put off by the cockpit design. So I thought I might build my own and try and capture a more accurate look of the nose. So far most is done and I will brick build the wings later rather than keeping the plates, as funds become available offcourse. Imperial shuttle WIP.

Very well done. All the right details are there. What did you use for the DS plans display?

[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
michaelozzie replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I really like the look of this build so far. The light blue panels on the side of the body are something I have wanted to see on an AT-AT. My only concern is the front viewport looks too narrow but whether that's from the angle of the photos? Also thanks to Rebels we have a new AT-AT design to MOC -
Very nice to see a MOC of one of these locomotives and a commonly seen livery in NSW. I've been thinking about making an 80 class for a while in the candy livery. That's and engine I always remember well watching pass my grandads house when I was a child.

Looks great. I will have to come up to have a look.

This is a superb build and the details are so well executed. Well done.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
michaelozzie replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Sounds more like a wishlist than actual sets we will see. Although I would like to see new Scout Troopers and an AT-ST. Will have to wait and see then. In regards to the set photos of the winter wave I'm very happy with almost all these sets so far. A great assortment of minifigs which is more important to me these days. I love the battlepacks and the Freezing Chamber with a bit of moding and enlarging will be ok. Only the Spider Droid is an easy miss for me. -
