Nice Work, I like how you improved the features from the 8129 AT AT. I'm looking at getting the new one when it comes out this year purely to mod it .

Very nice mods to these trains. Well done -
So many great little details in this building. I like the bear in the 2nd floor band area and the fireplace are a nice touch.

Another great model of the Vossloh GG2000B. Very well done 12volt and I like the way you did the lights.

Looks as though the snowtrooper in the advent calendar is the older version too and not the newer one with the separate helmet, backpack and kama. -
All my Trains are in 8 wide and it is spot on in my mind, for level of detail achievable and looking to scale with 6 wide trucks and cars in the Lego city. 6 wide just looks too small to me now, even 7 wide. I have tried some 9 and 10 wide versions but it becomes a bit too heavy and costly in parts even though it looks better.

Nice shed. I've just finished a new single road workshed myself.

No I have seen a picture of that turret from behind and it has a seat for the minifigure to sit there. -

I don't mind the look of the new helmet printing on the stormtrooper. I'm a bit unsure about the torso though. It's getting hard to keep a uniform look when army building these days, with the constant updates. -

The more I look at that bar the more I see a white arm and dark torso standing behind the grey drink dispenser taps. -
[Review] The X-Wing Microfighter Novelty
michaelozzie replied to DarthYannick's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The minifig printing on the legs and torso really impress me. I like the look of these sets and can see a lot of playability that was lacking in the Planet series as you said. thanks for the Review.- 30 replies

I think that bucket shaped thing you are referring too will be a timetable sign which is yet to have a sticker applied. It looks like they are going for the modern glass and steel frame look alot of new stations tend to have these days. I'm not sure how that roof piece over the track works but I guess when we see it in its full form it will make sense.

I don't mind as long as people ask first. Apology accepted, now back to new sets talk. -

Tolora why are you using my photo from Flickr as your Avatar? -
I guess the high speed passenger train will be another German inspired design as most are from Lego. Probably based off the ICE if its white. The blue cargo train will be interesting to see the engine type used this time. It will probably be an electric model again with pantographs as the last 2 (Red cargo train and Maersk) have been diesels.

Awesome build. Looks just right in the detailing for its size.

The Mos Eisley cantina really reminds me of the old set just expanded out with an entry area and possibly the band's section to play in, even with the same landspeeder. The new Dewback will be welcome though. Im sure that is a photo distortion on the AT-AT legs, but as these are prelims, it will all be different in the final version. Goody the Stormtroopers have leg printing -
I have picked up a few of these BP's now and found the damage markings on the helmets for each pack were printed in a slightly different position, particularly on the Airbourne troopers. Thanks for the review. One point about the Kamas is that you need to pull the side flaps around more to the front of the minifigures, so they don't stick out awkwardly at the back.

Maybe the higher price for the snowspeeder means it will include a small version of the ION cannon? -

The spider droid is nothing special but I disagree about the minifigs. I have bought 2 of these BPs and find the figures great especially the airbourne figs. -

My local toystore has all the new battlepacks and sets in now for 2 weeks. The battlepacks are priced at 12.99 euro and they had bonus posters with most of the larger sets. -

I just can't imagine a large Cantina play set coming out especially on the scale of Jabba's palace. I'm thinking more around the scale of The Palpatines arrest set would be more likely. The most important feature though for a Cantina set would not be the size but the figures that come with it.
