This is the class 70 shunting locos used around Antwerp harbour many years ago. The 270005 engine is preserved in original livery. The moc is 9 studs wide and the silver smoke stack acts as the battery power switch. I would have liked to have used dark green bricks but there was a lack of necessary parts. More photos of the switching house and blue shunter can be seen on my flickr.
Great work lightningtiger, the coles store and hardware shop remind me alot of a couple of buildings in my old home town. Im looking forward to seeing whats next
Hi guys. Its been a long time since I posted some train mocs. These 2 have been sitting in boxes for nearly 8 months while I have been moving between houses but I finally have been able to unpack all my lego and start showing some of this stuff. The 77 series locomotives are a common site here in Belgium. I see these most days around the Zeebrugge port. Both are built in 8 wide as ive found this a nicer scale for realism in my mocs. The Matisa VM 500 is a service engine used by the NMBS to repair overhead cabling on the railways. I built it on an old RC base I had left over but will propably upgrade it to proper power functions when i get a new battery and motor set. More pics are on my site Flickr these are just teaser pics cheers all!
Nice moc of this building. Its very true to the way it looks and I like you included the bit of Sydney's monorail around it too. What did you use for the interior lighting? More pics please too
Nice start lightningtiger, cant wait to see it with the finnished stickers. This could make a very good sub-theme for you. Will you be making a tram to go with the tram tracks if you expand to a larger streetscape?
Great creation guys, really captures the feel of a small Aussie town from the 70s. Reminds me of my childhood days seeing all those smaller country trainstations which sadly are no longer in use now.
