The house is a bit grey for my taste but I like it's shape. The scarecrow is done very well and I like how he old man looks at it, like there is something strange about it. Everything else looks good.

This brickfilm has been put together very well and is very fun to watch. Excellent job! The part after the credits was a great touch as well.

You just keep keep impressing me with your interesting and original MOC's. Now I want to build a terrarium too. Too bad FlickR is down at the moment. I'll have to check the video later.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Trance89 replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I don't know if this has been discussed over here but does anyone know if the series 11 will not be released in some countries although they have had all the other series? I was browsing the website (Dutch) of my local Lego store and they sold them for € 3,99 instead of the usual price of € 2,49. When I read the description, the first thing mentioned was that Lego isn't going to release series 11 in the Netherlands. If this is true, This is VERY dissapointing. -
Amazing how you managed to create a perfect scene by only using white, grey and black. (Well, allmost) I've had an idea to create a greyscale scene as well (in a whole different way) but I'd probably just built it in color and edited the picture. You've showed me that it is possible without editing a picture. Great video as well.

Great scene! I can't remember if I saw someone using the combo of transparent and transparent black as water before but it looks great.
-
Excellent scene. Everything looks perfect. One of the details that caught my eye are the sand green pieces below and on top of the lion's head brick. I can't really tell why but I think it just adds something to the wall.

You've adapted Derfel's techniques very well. The scene looks peaceful and has great foliage. I like the bridges' wood work as well. I noticed the display like thingy in the front. Are you going to put a card in it with your name and/or the MOC's name and maybe some details about it and display this MOC somewhere?
-
Wow! Now this is art! Very creative use of pieces. The extra details like the signature, paint bottles etc. are excellent additions.

Just saw this one on Flickr. You did an excellent job using these spikes. I wonder how many of them are in this MOC. I like the other details like the trash can, apple, banana peel and can too. NPU on the palm tree leaves as well. Now go buy a lot of blue spikes and make a cookie monster as well!

This is priceless! Jeroenaa, you had a crown knight in your profile pic before. Did that guy fled because of the chipmunk as well, so you were forced to get a new pic?
-
Although the tower looks quite simple, it fits perfecly in this MOC. The staircase, lean-to and foilage are great. The dead knights are a nice details and I really like the helmet on the sword. The tree could have some work though.
-
That's a cool MOC! I wonder what you would have created if you weren't restricted to 32x32.
-
This is great! The roof looks awesome. The stonework looks quite nice too; especially with the arches you made by using cheese slopes.
-
Wow! That's a lot of greebling over there. I like the effect of the collapsing walls.
-
Nice MOC. The donkey looks perfect. It's kinda funny how you are using the 1x2 tiles to make it look like they are bricks that stick out of the wall because I am used the same technique in my current MOC. (Which is about 99% done right now)
-
Great scene. Excellent job on the ships. I wonder if you made the burners first while trying some new techniques and then got the idea to create this MOC.

I love it! The colors, the flowers on a string, the dark green/yellow tree, the platform with the cheese slopes... there's just to much I like!
-
Looks great! I like how you made the water and the ruins. Excellent job on the placement of the minifigures as well.

Very nice! I like the crane. The diagonal wall of the house looks geat too. Especially with the round bricks around the bottom and sides and the leafs above it. NPU on the medusa hair and the medusa tail on the botom of the tree if I'm correct.
-
Now this is what I call art! You should print it, put it in a photo frame and hang it on your wall. Or print it on canvas. That might be even better.

Bricklink is a lot cheaper and easier if you need parts for your MOC's. Especially when it comes to large amounts of parts. I can't imagine you want to buy 50 copies of the same set to get a specific piece 100 times for example. (and also getting a lot of parts you don't need) You can always check inventories of sets first (also possible via BrickLink) because sometimes it's still better to buy a set if the majority of the parts are usable. It will also save you money.

I like the idea and the build. I have to agree with "Captain Settle" on the widows though. They are also too small in my opinion. It's not really bothering though.
