  1. Thanks! I really like the chains myself. Thanks! The bridge comes from 'The Lego ideas book' by 'Daniel Lipkowitz.' The book has some quite interesting builds in it including MOCs made by other Lego fans. Thanks! Actually it wasn't a guy but a woman. She wanted the bridge for her grand child. Thanks!

    City Bridge

This is a bridge I originally made for a customer of my local Lego store. The customer saw the bridge in an idea book and asked the owner if he could get parts for the bridge. The owner then asked me if I wanted to bulid it. The bridge in the idea book didn't go up or down so I also had to add sloping. Unfortunatly the customer didn't want it anymore before seeing the result and even before I could finish it. Now it's still on display in the store. I used 2100+ bricks for this bridge. The original from the idea book: Bad quality. I know... I also know the whole bridge isn't visible but I made this picture for other purpose. I couldn't take a new picture because don't have the book anymore. I only had it when I made the bridge and returned it to the store when I finished it. The finished version: The car doen't belong to the bridge but it was an easy oportunity to show it.
  3. If I'm not mistaken, Toy Pro is from the same owner (or one of the owners) of the Bricklink store called 'AFOL Supply.' I placed a lot of orders there and have a very good experience with the BL store.
  4. Thanks! Thanks! Yes it's the Lego shop in the Klaasstraat. Actually it is kind of an official Lego store except this one has it's own name and style.
  5. Great song and great video.
  6. I see. So my guess was right. Now you mentioned placing other architecture sets in here I took another look and directly noticed the Brandenburg Gate. I think most of the architecture sets fit perfectly in here.
  7. This is a really nice set. I like the technique they used for the roof. The wheels seemed too small but after I saw the picture of the actual truck in the instructions it seems to be right. Too bad it's highly exclusive. Good thing there are instructions available.
  8. Absolutely fantastic job! I guess I've seen some of your buildings on Flickr before but I didn't know the whole scene was this big. Such great variety and contrast. by the way: Is the Opera house on the right from the architecture series or did you make it yourself? It looks like t's from the architecture series but it's too small on the picture to see it good enough.
  9. Thanks! Good luck on BrickLink! Thanks! My next MOCs will look different to this one, except for one, but that's because I'm experimenting with different building techniques.
  10. Thanks! Surely you will see more of my MOC. There are at least 3 other ones that I will post soon. Thanks! The lean-to is one of my favorite details in this MOC. Thanks! I also think the combo of medium blue and dark brown is very effective.
  11. Impressive! I love the massive walls with the (mostly) 2x4 tiles and details such as the columns. This must be a very expensive project with al those bricks and minifigs. Can't wait for updates and the final result!
  12. This is my first MOC. Altough it has some flaws I'm very happy with the final result. Sorry for the quality of the pictures. I made them with my Smartphone and they weren't directly meant for posting them on the internet; just for showing them to other people quick and easy. Special thanks to Derfel Cadarn for his fantastic guide here on Eurobricks of course! Front view Side view Harvesting the carrots Feeding the chickens Back View
  13. Thanks! No I don't live in Middelburg. I live in Venlo.
  14. Hello fellow AFOL's! My name is Martijn and I'm from the Netherlands. I've been a fan of Lego since I was a child. When I was in high school I stopped playing with it. A few years ago I was curious about the the sets and themes Lego was producing at the time, when I came across the Café Corner and Green Grocer. I had to resist myself not to buy them but it didn't last long before I ordered the Café Corner and later on also the Green Grocer. Now I own all modular buildings that have been released untill now. Except for the Market Street because I think it doesn't belong to the series. (but that''s just my opinion) During these years I also started MOCing. My first creation wasn't really a MOC. It was Ollie the Dragon in different Colors. Black instead of green skin and orange instead of blue eyes. Not very original since a lot of people made that one in different colors but you have to start somewhere. Currently I made 5 more MOCs. Four of them are castle/medieval themed which is my favorite theme. The other one is a small car. Other than that I made a few tablescraps and minifigures. I will post pictures of my first real MOC soon. Now, the only problem I have is room to place MOCs and sets. Lucky for me, a Lego store opened in my city last year so I can place some of my MOCs over there. Speaking about the Lego store... I forgot to mention another MOC. It's a bridge that was meant for a customer. The owner of the store asked me if I wanted to build it. Unfortunatly the customer didn't want it anymore before seeing the result or actually; before I could finished it. I still finished it however and now it's on display over there. I might post pictures of it in the Town subforum sometime. Well, that's a bit about me and my Lego 'history.' Edit: I made a topic for my first MOC. you can find it here.
