Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Those are two different characters (though the same Sullustan species). Ten Numb was the B-Wing Pilot, while Nien Nunb was the smuggler friend of Lando who co-piloted the Falcon. -
I agree, that's what we've been actually talking about here all this time. According to JediNews, Shaak Ti and Saesee Tiin might both appear in the T-6 jedi shuttle set, and not in separate sets.

Another good-looking MOC lightningtiger! Glad to see your town MOCs multiplying by the day, I hope to see them all in one town layout. I like the basic design of this store using those curved glass windows, and the white color scheme looks clean too. I will second 'The Soup Nazi': what type of glass window is that? What set did it came from? I'm also interested to find out.

Early Christmas present indeed! Thanks for the review DHCP1121, very orderly presentation with clear photos. I think it's a pretty good selection of parts, pieces, and MFs, though it's not a must-buy for me. The Santa fig does look good (esp. the nude one).

Wow, that's a great-looking Queen's Guard. Gotta love the torso print, arm insignia and the leg pinstripes - just amazing small details. The recoloring of the SW Rebel head is also very cleanly done. Impressive work Sir Morgan19!

Hi Jeffrey, and welcome to Eurobricks. Even if your intro seems a bit odd (starting with a complaint), pls. try to use the proper punctuation marks for better comprehension of your sentences. Just a friendly advice. Regarding your issue, I believe local toy stores do not sell individual parts and pieces in general. That is why Bricklink was created for this sole purpose. If you really need those technic parts then why don't you just buy them online right? A little bit of patience is all you need.

Yup, Saesee's CW and PT heads are relatively the same. It will all depend on how TLG will make his head - a rubber head like Plo's/Fisto's or a regular printed head with detachable headpiece like Aayla/Ahsoka. I personally would prefer the rubber head since it will look better (right face contours and details) and will spare us the CW-cartoony face. Shaak Ti will most probably be like the normal CW face like Aayla/Ahsoka, though I believe it would be better if they make it Barriss-Offee-ish.

Wow, that is a huge improvement from your first version, I'd say this is a 100x better than the first one. The use of those curved slopes in the head, body, arms, and legs give it a streamlined look and adds another level of sleekness in the overall look of MotoMan. Great job Toa_of_Justice! Any plans of doing this in brickform? That would be sweet.

Hmmm, it's kinda large for a jetpack the way I see it. It does look more like a glider than a jetpack. I agree with TheWarden, a better propulsion build would make it a recognizble as a jetpack.

Another nice creation Leo-J! The 'serrated' design does live up to its name. Very clever use of the black slope pieces indeed.

A Collation of TLC Face Decals
XimenaPaulina replied to Dutch's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Cool collection of custom face decals, very clean-looking designs I must say. I love the camouflaged face the best. Very nicely done Dutch! -
Very interesting custom weapon designs you got there, SilentMode. I'm not that familiar with those weapons but they do look like too large for a minifig to hold (or is that what it's supposed to look like?).

Hello fellow LSW fans! This thread was created to provide a venue for all your questions regarding our beloved Lego Star Wars. Instead of creating separate question-topics, this thread should be able to accomodate all your questions, with our resident LSW masters and experts always on hand to provide insightful answers to your lingering questions. Even you might be able to answer someone's question. So if there's something bothering you or there's a question you've been wanting to ask but can't find the way to ask them, feel free to post them here - you'd be surprised to get the answers right away. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Original Post] I don't know if this issue has been raised before but I've observed that there seems to be a lot of new 'question-topics' being started in the past couple of days. The problem with this is that these are populating the SW forum and bumping down more post-worthy topics (like Oky's Toy Wars, ACPin's MOCs, and other MOCs as well, just to name a few). Thus, I am humbly suggesting if we could have a single topic dedicated to all the member's questions regarding Lego Star Wars, which I believe will solve this problem - consolidating these separate questions in one single topic and thus saving more forum 'page-space' for other topics. If this has been done before or there is an existing topic for this one, pls. forgive my ignorance. EDIT: Sorry for the typo in the title. ]

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
On my count it'll be 11 jedis members featured in the TCW series (including Season 3): 1. Yoda 2. Mace Windu 3. Obi-Wan Kenobi 4. Plo Koon 5. Kit Fisto 6. Ki-Adi-Mundi 7. Adi Gallia 8. Eeth Koth 9. Shaak Ti - Season 3 10. Saesee Tiin - Season 3 11. Anakin Skywalker - not yet a member on the series, but will become one during the final days of the council (RoTS) If you would like to be more technical, Dooku was also part of the Jedi High Council before he defected to the dark side. Side Note: 6 Jedi High Council members already have minifigures (plus 2 more if the Shaak Ti/Saesee rumors are true). -
Another great MOC Matn! I like the you did the "black outlined light bley wall designs", really gives it a medieval look. And those brickbuilt goats are sweet! Nicely done Sir!

Before my ARC Gunship suffers a premature and untimely 'death', here is some parting shot I forgot to post in the first page: A special thanks to good ol' reliable acrylic spray paints, without these I wouldn't have pulled-off the accurate colors of the ARC Gunship. "Your Instant Solution to LEGO Parts in unavailable colors"

If you backread, it is rumored that Shaak Ti and Saesee be included in the T-6 jedi shuttle, which is CW-based. So it's most probably both will carry the CW faces (sadly).
-
I would assume that's you original design right? Good use of the MF bases, the design is basic yet gets the job done for a transport vehicle. BTW, you might want to brush off some dust on your MOCs before taking pics, just a friendly advice.
-
The design is rather simple yet looks good to me. I love the back flap-thingy at the back. Nice job Plissken.

For this year's Clone Trooper BP? Nah, I don't think so, it's highly unlikely as of the moment. I would certainly like to have the Commandos but I think it's too early. Maybe after their appearance in Season 3, perhaps in late 2011 or 2012?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I certainly hope so. I think the only way TLG would release a Vos MF is if he makes an appearance in the CW series, which is a sort of a stepping stone for the recent jedi MFs (Aayla, Barriss, the late Nahdar, and the rumored Shaak & Saesee for Season 3). If only Lucas/Filoni stuck with the originally planned appearance of Vos in the Bombad Jedi episode in Season 1, there's a big chance we might have the Vos MF by now. Vos is a much more interesting character compared to Adi Gallia or Eeth Koth IMO, so it's quite disappointing they still haven't made him by now. But let's see what happens, we don't know, Season 3 might pull-off a surprise by showing Vos, or perhaps in the next seasons of CW. On Shaak Ti: Cute? Those eyes are hideous in my dictionary. I completely agree that the Bariss-Offee-ish eyes is a rather acceptable alternative to those hideous CW eyes. I hope they do that with Shaak and the next CW-based jedis/characters (though I know it's unlikely). -
Yep, based on the video shown at the SW Celebration V (screenshots above), the Commandos will make their debut appearance in Season 3, probably in 1 or 2 epis (not so sure). It will be a good thing if we do get them in lego eventually (fingers crossed). I hope you're right, blurry images are more than welcome, it's better than none at all.

Welcome to Eurobricks Solscud007! See you around the SW forum.

Simply amazing photos as usual, smokebelch, Skipper, Burman, LuxorV. @Solscud007: Your photos are brilliant too. In the eyes of a non-expert in photography like me, I must say your pics are crisp-clear and looks very good IMO. Great job! The winner for me hands down is this one: I could just imagine time slowing as Vader and Boba held hands with the sound of love songs in the air...

Most probably it will be like Fisto's/Plo's head mold, and will be based on the upcoming appearance of Saesee in the TCW Season 3 (see below). It's a good thing Saesee doesn't have big bulging eyes and will be spared of the hideous CW face. I just really hope the T-6 shuttle with Shaak and Saesee rumors are true, as I will be definitely be disappointed if it won't be. (pics from links provided by djmangunz) See that commando? I hope we'll have them also in the other 2011 sets. Yay!
