BTW Clark, I just noticed that you attached the images in your post. It would be much better if you use image hosting sites such as flickr to show your MOC photos. Just an advice. also pls. feel free to read the Member Guidelines, and visit the Website and Forums thread for some useful tips and tutorials.

Welcome lego clones rock, I hope I wasn't too harsh on you when you first posted in the SW forum. Anyway, hope you become active and be a positive contributor to EB. Most of all, enjoy the site. See you around.

Nice but creepy MOC 'The Alchemyst'. Darth Buzz finally struck back at Woody.

Oh my that's a wonderful creation, I had the same idea to create 'The Claaaw', it's a good thing I didn't push through because your execution is much much better. It even has a Sid maxifig! I like how you improvised using lime dome topes and blue legs to multiply your already numerous LGMs! Though it would have been perfect if there was an actual glass pane, but that's asking too much. Overall impressive job Sir!

REVIEW: 8684 LEGO Minifigures Series 2
XimenaPaulina replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow, what a great comprehesive detailed review, certainly job very well done WhiteFang! I very much enjoyed reading your review all the way from start to end - and the EB members cameos are truly very entertaining. I gotta say I had a better appreciation of Series 2 because of your review, and it just reinforces my plan to buy the whole set. EDIT: I voted Above-average for Series 2. But I can't cast my vote since I'm abstaining for the second question. I like both Both Series 1 and Series 2 the same. -
Yep, that would be the T-6 jedi shuttle. Well it really depends on individual preferences. I for one see it as a decent-looking ship, not bad yet not that spectacular also - maybe because of the lack of details and bland color scheme. And as I've said before, the size will again be an issue like previous big SW ships, I'm pretty sure it will be smaller than what it should be. But despite that the mere fact that it will have Shaak and Saesee (if the rumors are true) is reason enough for fans to buy it. I definitely would.
-
I just noticed now, if this Clone Trooper BP rumor is true then there's a possibility that there won't be two regular clone troopers in the BP but two specialized troopers? Two clone heavy gunners with Z-6 rotary chaingun and reciprocating quad-blasters would be sweet.

Thanks SWMAN. I agree with you that TLG most of the time sacrifices accuracy for playability for kids, which is completely understandable. I guess it's our job as AFOLs to somehow correct these inaccuracies by a li'l bit of moddind here and slight tweaking there to achieve what we want in a particular set.
-
Harsh. It seems I'm more diplomatic by saying it's a decent-looking ship. In my book the definition of ugly is Twilight (the flying box with wings; and the movie saga too ). Without the benefit of the official pics, the T-6 will be acceptable for me, though the size will again be a major issue - I'm pretty sure it will be in the smaller-than-what-it-shoul-be size (like the Republic Attack Shuttle). Well, I'm really hoping the Shaak/Saesee rumor will be true, if only one of them is included then I might have to pass up.
-
No problem, this topic is still in the first page so it ain't that old news yet. That's a pretty good RGS I must say, love the smoothness of the finish, that might be another way to make an RGS, but I'm sticking with my modified TLG version for the time being. Regarding the wing turret, it's a good brickbuild, though kinda small IMO. I think I'll be sticking also with my double bubble wing turret. But thanks for sharing, some techniques there might be useful in my future RGS MOCs/MODs.

Yeah probably, but at a much later time, but the prospect of having two new jedis is really very tempting to pass and wait for a cheaper set. I mean the T-6 jedi shuttle is not that spectacular of a ship, but a decent one at the least, the main drawing factor will be the inclusion of these two new exclusive jedis. Maybe TLG realized that two new jedis (T-6-Shaak-Saesee) is much better than only 1 new jedi in a rather expensive set (CTT-Aayla-Bane combo).
-
Yes father, we know. Shaak Ti will be no problem, TLG will just make her like Ahsoka but with longer Togruta headpiece and a cape. Saesee will be tricky, the horns will probably be part of a detachable headpiece much like Aayla's. Both will surely be CW faces. No matter how TLG does Shaak Ti or Saesee Tiin, both are really must-haves. We can't get enough of our jedis right?
-
Thanks for the great news Doc, if that rumor is right, then WOW, two new jedis (cool jedis at that) = instant buy for the T-6 jedi shuttle (no ifs and buts).
-
I agree that the two new jedis, Adi Gallia and Eeth Koth, introduced in this episode was pretty boring to say the least - not as spectacular as badass fighters like the Kit Fistos and the Luminara Undulis of Season 1. So I wouldn't care if TLG passes these two of the minifig plans. The modified ambassadorial shuttle does look interesting if built in lego.

Welcome to Eurobricks Karyn, I saw one of your Modulex MOCs earlier, really lovely creation. Hope to see more from you.

Nice one Decale! I actually like your band a lot, I think you made the best out of your available parts and you got the basic elements of a rock band pretty well. The drum set, lead and bass guitars, the microphone w/ stand, those loud speakers - they all look good to me. I also wanted to try doing a rock band of my own before, it just so happened I was busy with my other MOCs. It's a good thing you made one, that's definitely a good start and with the proper parts you'll still be able to improve it. How I wish TLG will release a Rock band theme.

Wow, that's a truly lovely Greenhouse MOC, I love it. I simply am amazed by those glass panes, trans-clear bricks, and the intricate tiling of the exterior lawn and the interior floors. The various plants and their clever positioning are also nicely done. To sum it up - that's what I call a GRAND ENTRANCE. Welcome once again to Eurobricks Karyn and hope to see more of your lovely MOCs here in EB.

That's a great-looking brickbuilt T-Rex, I love the use of various slopes to achieve the curved body parts. The red-black color combo also looks nice. I, for one, like the large head-on-a-skinny body - it looks effectively cartoonish (if that is the intended look). And yet again, professional-looking quality pics as usual, impressive job Mookage!

Hello! My name is Lee-Ann and I'm addicted to lego
XimenaPaulina replied to computershopper's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to Eurobricks Lee-Ann! It's great to know another FFOL joining our online community. Be sure to check out the Ladie's Lounge for that bright pink Ladies group tag. See you around! -
Greetings fellow South East Asian! Welcome to Eurobricks Reza. I'm sure you'll enjoy the forums here. I agree with you regarding the less availability of lego sets in our part of the world compared to others. That's why I rarely buy lego from our local stores, but rather Bricklink, and sometimes ebay, are my best friends.

MOC: WIP Volvo Front loader with "hydraulics"
XimenaPaulina replied to Selander's topic in LEGO Town
I like the design of your front-loader Selander, I'm no hydraulics expert, but I think you did a pretty good job pulling off a functional front hydraulics for such a small-size MF-scale vehicle - very good job on that. The design of the rear looks also very Volvo-ish especially with the custom logo. -
Very good review Cardinal Brick, thanks for sharing this with us. Seeing this makes me wanna buy this set - a great relaxing set, nice selection of MFs (in their beach outfits) and simply lovely accessories. That printed baseplate looks very good and is pretty rare nowadays.
