Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I found this rumored episode guide for Season 3 --> Link. I don't know if this is a reliabe source or not, but some of the titles are quite interesting, though some seem unrealistic and quite "funny". Here's the list: "The Season 3 episodes of the new Clone Wars TV series television show begin broadcasting during Friday 17 September 2010 on the Cartoon Network in the United States at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time" Episode 1 - Secrets of Darth Plagueis Episode 2 - Origin of the Force Episode 3 - Ancient Wars of Yoda Episode 4 - Millennium Falcon Liberated, Part 1 Episode 5 - Millennium Falcon Liberated, Part 2 Episode 6 - First Jedi Revealed Episode 7 - Sith Holocrons of Darth Bane Episode 8 - Young Qui-Gon Jinn on Hancarth, Part 1 Episode 9 - Young Qui-Gon Jinn on Hancarth, Part 2 Episode 10 - Rescue of Boba Fett Episode 11 - Light Saber Construction Episode 12 - Coruscant Dark Underground Episode 13 - Enter The Spice Mines of Kessel Episode 14 - The Journal of the Whills Episode 15 - The Enigma Dilemma Episode 16 - Mysteries of the Rodar Wizards Episode 17 - Ghosts of Rage Episode 18 - Terror on Alderaan Episode 19 - Roar of the Wookiees Episode 20 - Kyber Crystal Revelation Episode 21 - Desperation of Grentarik Episode 22 - The Final Sacrifice What do you think guys? -
[Review] 7295 Dino Buggy Chaser
XimenaPaulina replied to Plissken's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Good first review Plissken. This is a pretty decent small set for its price back then, but there are a lot of issues in this one - the out-of-placed missized Dino and the badly-designed buggy. The only bright spot is the rather cool camouflaged face. And it's the first time I've known EU sets are supposed to be 'gunless'. -
I'm not much of a HP fan but I must say this is a great MOC. The build of the front exterior is good but the interior is even better - lots of action going on characteristic of a pub. I actually like the unfinished roof as it allows a complete view of the interior but at the same time looks complete when viewed at the front. I also like the ghost minifigs and the printed windows - are those custom printed or from an official set? Overall great job Nick Wolfe!

MINI Hell's Anvil, Preybird and StarViper Attack Platform
XimenaPaulina replied to Legostein's topic in LEGO Star Wars
And the "Master of the MINIs" are back... Welcome back Legostein and what a great way to come back with another impressive set of mini-ships. It's great to know you now built EU ships, I'm not so familiar with them so I might have to research a bit to know how the real ships look like. I like the red Hell's Anvil the best among the batch - nice use of the astromech bodies for the quad-thrusters. -
Very nice smooth and sleek design Toa_of_Justice. I think you pretty much nailed the overall look right on the bulls-eye. Nicely done! Just one minor adjustment tough, the cockpit in the real boat is closer in the front so you might want to adjust that in your model. Other than that, I'd say it's perfect.

That's what you call a grand entrance - truly very impressive creation elkapitan! Even if the PoP elements are very distinct the design still looks very original - I love the alternating cheese slopes-gold round 1x1 plates detail. Welcome once again to EB and hope to see more of your creations here.

Truly fantastic poster Flail! I am AMAZED indeed. I am very much impressed with your graphic design skills - making the robot minifig look like a giant. Overall great job!

Welcome to Eurobricks David, yeah I saw your MOC earlier - wonderful! Hope to see more of your MOCs here. Enjoy the site and see you around.

Sorry for the late rely, I never noticed this question. These are the only painted parts (below) not available in blue and red, the rest are in standard Lego red and blue colors. And the blue strips are painted stickers as well.

Great custom armour and headgear with the tags. Thanks for sharing this brciktw and for the detailed explanation (from wikipedia right?) - I've learned something new today.

It looks like the Rebel Alliance Hangar, with the rebels prepping the X-Wings, Y-Wings, B-Wings, A-Wings to attack the First Death Star. Can't wait to see this another wonderful massive MOC AC.

That seems to be a pretty interesting build Startender, but do you have more pictures to show? And what's the story behind this MOC? I would also suggest using image hosting sites such as flickr to post your MOC photos instead of attaching it in your post.

I do hope there won't be any regular clones in the CT BP, but based on the initial rumors posted by KimT, there will be 2 regular clones + 2 specialised troopers (ARF trooper + bomb squad trooper). It would be great if we'll have 2 other specialised troopers aside from the ARF and bomb squad, but I'm not getting my hopes that high since 4 new troopers is a bit much too ask. I'll be happy to get the current rumored BP but it would be a happy surprise if ever we'll get the 4 specialised troopers. PS: If ever we'll get the 2 other specialised troopers, I hope it'll be the Cold Assault Trooper and Clone Flame Trooper - both having the same helmet mold (modified snowtrooper helmet) with different prints and weapons.

It seems there's a lot of Ohio AFOLs here in EB eh... Well, I'm not from Ohio but pls. accept my welcome mostlytechnic. Do enjoy your stay here in EB.

Pretty good modular building design amity498, not bad for your first LDD MOC. I particularly like the simplistic and clean design. The color scheme works well for me too. May I ask what this building is for - residential or commercial? Welcome to EB and hope to see more of your MOCs here.

That's a pretty good creation dreeder75, what I like about it is it's fully-functional. Good job I must say! I just noticed you attached your images in this topic. It would be better if you use image hosting sites such as flickr to post the photos of your MOCs. For some helpful tips and tutorials, pls. visit this topic and this one also.

I love it! The overall look of the ship really fits well the Batlord. I like the bat-like wing design and the black-red color scheme. Nice details in the rear thrusters too. The genie shot is also very nicely designed. Nice job SpiderSpaceman!

Really nice, I love the overall muscular look of that thing! It really looks like a brute force not be messed with. I like its bulkiness, coupled with the shoulder slopes and weapons, and the details of the legs. Very nicely done Zip!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Oh my, I'm so sorry if I keep on pluralizing the word jedis, I guess I'm not that proficient in the SWU grammar I suppose. Thanks for sharing the link Nightwing. I highlighted Vos and reposted the pic for the benefit of everyone. Vos looks good IMO, so it's confirmed then that he will appear in Season 3? Here's hoping we could have a Vos MF in 2011. If we'll get Vos, and Shaak and Saesee next year, it will be definitely a good year for new jedi minifigs. -
The rear part in my modified RGS is also slanted, thought the size, shape, and angle is different than the official RGS. The opening rear of the official RGS is actually accurate to that of the real RGS, I wasn't just able to pull it off considering the instability of the rear part when I removed the supporting arch.

JediNews' past reputation for reliable rumors is the one that's keeping my hopes alive for the Shaak Ti/Saesee Tiin MFs in the T-6 Shuttle set. I would not have wasted my time in this discussion if the rumors came from less reliable sources. Let's just hope photo leaks will surface soon.

Hmmm, not bad but I personally don't like a couple of the major elements: 1) the cockpit is too small and cramped IMO, the pilot is literally almost lying down and he does not look comfortable in that position. Maybe you could make it bigger so that the pilot can have a normal sitting position inside. Or is that 'lyding down' position normal like in Slave I? 2) the wings are too "thick" for a starfighter that size. I don't know if I'm just used to sleeker wings but maybe you could lessen the thickness a bit. That's a good start and you could always improve it Gerrard.
-
I guess there's a bit of random blue still remaining in the interior, I'm just not quite sure since my focus was really to remove all the random colors in the exterior and make them all white for a cleaner look (though unrealistic since there's no visible 'battlescars' = 'Shinies' as Rex would call it).
-
If my memory serves me right, both were in Ep. II in the Geonosis Battle Arena, and Saesee was with Mace, Fisto, and Kolar during Palpatine's arrest in Ep.III. And I'm pretty sure the MFs of both will not be based on the PT but on the CW series, especially since both of them will make their debut appearance in Season 3.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah, I hope this will work both ways - a topic where members can freely post their LSW questions without creating new topics, and at the same time, keeping the forum "clean", as you said. I hope this will also encourage interactive Q & As and healthly discussion among members.
