Pretty nice beach you got there 'The Red Brick', I love the small coffee shop and the lightguard's post. The design of the water is a bit plain and simple to me, perhaps the use of tiles, cheese slopes, curved slopes, and in different shades of blue would have given the water a bit variation, action, and 'life'. But still, that's a good start that you could always improve with the right parts.

Welcome to Eurobricks Lutin! Great to know another SW fan joining us. Don't worry about starting again, I experienced the same thing when I came out of my Dark Ages, when I had absolutely nothing (as in zilch), but I started building by MOCs set-by-set, piece-by-piece (through Bricklink). 2 years after, I'm pretty ok now, and still building and building more. It would take a bit of time, effort and resources to get you going with your MOCs so just be patient. We hope to see some of your creations here. See you around and enjoy!

Review : 7599 Garbage Truck Getaway (Toy Story 3)
XimenaPaulina replied to Big Pete's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great review Big Pete, I like your presentation a lot - very clean and orderly. And nice collection of TS sets/MFs, I wish I could have even half of that. -
Nice, but it really simply looks like an unmodified Indy sidecar. It would be better if you have a ref. pic of the batcycle with sidecar where you could draw inspiration from. A bit of modifications would help heaps to improve it, but that's already a good start.

Haha, your second batch of pics is once again hilarious! I love Darth Piggious, very clever parallelism to Dr. Evil Porkchops. (Though I think you should have put the Dr. Evil Porkchops black hat to simulate Sidious' signature black hood) Your TS-SW cross-over is really a 'blockbuster'.

Welcome to Eurobricks Shinukage! I wish I could help you regarding your Grand Carousel problem but I'm not so familiar with the build since I don't own the set. Maybe you could send a PM to Svelte, our distinguished Global Mod who did the review of 10196, he might be able to hel you. I hope you'll find the solution soon, and pls. do enjoy the site.

Simple but really nice addition I must say, improves the overall look of Gen. Veers a couple of times better. And the sharpie job looks very clean IMO. Good job.

Gotta love those cross-references! Each TS character has its own equivalent in the SW universe, very cleverly thought-of names, and wild imagination (?) I must say. You pretty much nailed everything right on the "Bulls-Eye". <wink wink> It's clearly evident these two themes are your most favorite: name = SW (Oky Wan Kenobi) and sigfig = TS (Buzz Lightyear outfit).

Custom Genie Collectible Minifig
XimenaPaulina replied to Thrash's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I like this custom genie very much - very clean head, torso, and leg prints. Gotta love that FAKE logo. Well done Thrash! -
Thanks djmangunz. I agree there have been a lot of ARC gunship MOCs out there but I really had to make this attempt to do my own since I hadn't found the perfect one. I hope my version somehow does justice to the our favorite ARC Gunship.

[Review] 4619558 Dup. Brick LLC Star Wars Days
XimenaPaulina replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice review Doc, it's a pretty interesting 'set', I've actually never heard/seen/known this one until now. It's a good 'collectible' which not everyone can easily get. -
Wow, pretty big compliment, thanks so much. I hope to provide you with some more quality MOCs in the near future.
-
Thanks a lot of Sirius! I also wonder how come TLG never made an official set of the ARC Gunship. It's very doable and I'm pretty sure it will sell like hotcakes. Maybe because it will 'self-compete' with the regular RGS in terms of sales? Whoa, zeroes overload eh? Anyway, I'd take the exagerrated rating as a compliment. And you have eagle-eyes don't you? You noticed that small blue line in the top ref. pic, that's actually the blinking cursor that was captured when I 'Printscreened' the whole set of ref. pics.

Thanks prateek, I'm glad people like the marker prints, though I myself am not completely satisfied. I would love to know if there is a better technique or marker to achieve a cleaner finish (like the real lego prints). I'm glad you noticed the pauldrons, it's just actually made from a simple piece of bond paper and the design is simply made in MS Word. And I agree that the Z-6 is a little bit skinny, it was just a quick build using the available extra parts that I have. I'll try to improve it when I have the time (and the parts). Yep, that would be the proper store to buy those weapons. And they have a lot of other cool arsenal of custom SW weapons there, I might also have to visit some time.

This was the JAG, just recolored to make the ARC Gunship. And yes those ball & socket pieces don't come in dark red, I just repainted them. The Geonosis RGS will have to wait a while, I'll be taking a bit of a break from my RGS MOCs because I have some other MOCs in line. Thanks, at first I wasn't sure about using stickers but I had no other choice but to use them for the tiger strips. It's a good thing it turned out pretty well.

Thanks darth yogi. Thanks prateek, I'm glad you liked the med bay, I based it on the actual event when the ARCs rescued the injured jedis in the CW cartoon. Sadly, I had to break down the JAG so I could build this ARC Gunship. But as I've said earlier, I will have to invest on more RGS to keep my RGS MOCs and hopefully take a photo of them together in the near future. Thanks Sir, I'm honored by the kind words from a respected member of EB.

Thanks darth yogi. Yep those are good ol' reliable sharpie custom prints, I'm glad you liked it. Regarding the weapons, the DC-15a rifles are custom weapons I bought from eBay, while the three heavy weapons (portable rocket launcher, modified heavy blaster, and Z-6 rotary chaingun) are just made out of extra lego parts and are loosely based on the CW cartoon series. Capt. Fordo's blasters are just the standard lego blasters.

I just invested on the 7676 RGS, and made several stops at BL for the necessary additional parts for both the JAG and ARC Gunships. That's it! And the ARC Troopers? Those are made from four Clone Walker BPs. Now I don't have any regular clone troopers in my army as they have all been 'promoted' to ARC Troopers. BTW, you might want to check out your spelling, capitalization and punctuation, I had to put extra effort deciphering your message. Just a friendly advice. I'm glad you like it Sir, always glad to hear from the resident 'tiger' of EB, thanks!

I also fell in love with this ship the first time I saw it in the cartoon series, simply because it's a 'badass' version of my most favorite SW ship, the RGS. The Rancor sticker is not my design, I just cropped it out of a photo of the ARC Gunship and put it in a white background (my limited time and graphics skills made me do that). Thanks for the kind words Smack and I will continue contributing to the SW forum to the best of my abilities. Thanks JD! Unfortunately, I don't have two RGSs, this is just my modified 7676 RGS, so the JAG went out and in came the ARC Gunship. I have no plans of breaking this blue one down, so I might have to invest some more for my future RGS MOCs/MODs (Ouch! I hear my wallet hurt ). Besides. it'll be cool to have 2-3 gunships side-by-side.

Thanks brickfoot.

This project is the second installment of my RGS MOC series. I have seen various ARC Gunship MOCs but I have yet to see the perfect brickbuilt version based on overall accuracy to the real ARC Gunship. There are pretty good ones out there but they have various accuracy issues like wrong colors used (dark blue/dark red combo), overly-done details (real rancor teeth design, additional unnecessary weapons), and even lack of necessary details. This is my modest attempt to hopefully provide the most realistic brick version of the famous ARC Gunship. Based mostly on my previous mods to the official TLG RGS, I have added several other modifications to approximate the overall look of the real ARC Gunship. (1) First and foremost, the obvious change in color scheme – sporting majorly blue-colored body and red front nose, replacing the dark red-lime green combo of the regular RGS). (2) Custom ‘Rancor noseart’ characteristic of the ARC Gunship (3) Open middle compartment, with the distinct ‘arched opening’ also seen in earlier versions of the LAAT/i (4) Blue Rancor/Tiger body stripes (5) White stripes in the blue wings (6) Slight modification on the design and color of the rocket missile launcher (7) Added spot lights near the top of the wings (8) Front hatch opens showing a medical bay inside (pictured are injured Jedis Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti as seen in the Clone Wars cartoon series) (9) Single sliding door of the troop bay (compared to two in the regular RGS) (10) Special ‘guest’ pilot Hawk (substitute for the ARC pilot) (11) Unmanned automatic wing turret Other Views What’s the use of the ARC Gunship without the famed ARC troopers right? Here comes Captain Fordo and the rest of the elite ARC Troopers... To see more of the ARC Troopers, visit the Minifig Customisation Workshop for a more indepth look at these custom clone troopers. Reference Pics C&C's are welcome.

The Muunilinst 10 was a group of Advanced Recon Commandos and standard clone troopers led by ARC Captain Fordo that consisted of three ARC lieutenants, and seven infantry clones (two were killed in the Battle of Muunilinst). The survivors were reinforced with heavy gunners and additional troops and were sent to Hypori to retrieve the surviving Jedi of the Battle of Hypori. This is actually not my first attempt at customizing minifigs, but simply my first time to show one of my recent customs in the MCW – the Muunilinst 10 ARC Troopers which is part of my ARC Gunship MOC at the SW forum. These ARC Troopers are made from regular clone troopers with custom helmet prints, ARC gears, and weapons. Here they are: Captain Fordo In his ARC Trooper Gear, with red-printed helmet, red arms, custom red ARC pauldron, custom printed communication antenna, standard anti-blast kama and two standard hand blasters Heavy Gunner ARC Troopers The three Heavy Gunner ARC Troopers sport blue-colored ARC pauldrons, blue-printed helmets, blue arms, custom printed communication antenna, standard anti-blast kama and specialized weapons: portable rocket launcher (left), modified heavy blaster (middle), and Z6 rotary chaingun (right) Regular ARC Troopers The six other ARC Troopers also sport blue-colored ARC paudrons, blue-printed helmets, blue arms, custom printed communication antenna, standard anti-blast kama and custom DC-15a rifles. One ARC Trooper has double blasters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Parting shot: Well, I hope you liked it. C&C's are welcome.

Great oriental-designed dragon! Reminds me of the dragon-dance dragon used during Chinese festivals. Very well done lisqr!

Nicely done Polish Guy, I simply love the colorful design of the base to capture the greeneries and waterforms. And thanks for the short history of Mofdules, I never knew that before.

I agree and disagree at the same time. I agree that the Aurra-Embo combo is a bit weird, a Sugi-Embo combo would have made sense considering they were 'gangmates' in the episode Bounty Hunters. But I have to disagree, I'll take Aurra over Sugi anyday. I'd say Aurra is more popular, more badass bounty hunter, has more screentime, and has more character/personality than Sugi. And you can't get all the Bounty Hunters right away, we're lucky if we'll have Embo, there have been already three Weequay Pirates, so asking for Sugi and Seripas MFs this early is asking a bit too much. I'm not saying it's never gonna happen, but maybe at a later time.
